| An official says a State Department security chief and two others have resigned after the report on the Benghazi attack, The Associated Press reported. Vivid new details of the attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi, Libya, were released Tuesday night by a federal committee trying to come to grips with the violence that led to the first murder of a U.S. ambassador since 1988 and the deaths of three other Americans. The report spoke of grossly inadequate security, an issue that Ambassador J. Christopher Stevens had complained about well before Sept. 11.

Boswell taking the fall. He reported to Patrick Kennedy, who reports directly to Hillary Clinton. Charlene Lamb reported to Boswell, and it was she who was directly responsible for embassy and consulate security throughout the world. Some 280+, as I recall. We saw both Kennedy and Lamb stumble and bumble through the first hearing before the House Oversight Committee (Darrell Issa), in which so many House Republicans shown and the State Department people (other than Eric Nordstrom, the man responsible for the region who could not get Washington DC to give them the security they needed) showed that it was not only inept but arrogant.
Hillary should resign. Kennedy and Lamb should resign.
Problem is that their replacements, put in place by the Obama administration, would be as bad or worse.

A pair of centrist senators introduced a bill Wednesday to soften the employer mandate in President Obama´s healthcare law. The popularity of Obamacare has crashed to its lowest level in nearly two years, according to a new Kaiser Family Foundation poll. Kaiser´s monthly tracking poll found that just 35 percent have a favorable view of the health reform being put into place Jan. 1 while 43 percent view it unfavorably. The favorability rating of Obamacare has been worse only once, in October 2011, when it fell to 34 percent. An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, lied to the Senate when he said there was never a “stand down” order during the Benghazi attack on Sept. 11, 2012. “What was fascinating is that he explained his lie to them,” Joe DiGenova, an attorney representing one of the whistleblowers, told CNSNews.com. “He actually said they were sent to Tripoli. Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.
