New York Times Calls Only
African-American In The U.S.
Senate A ‘Token’

You have got to hand it to the New York Times’ editors – they’ve got moxy. A Times opinion piece on Tuesday introducing their readers to the newest Senator from the Palmetto State, former Rep. Tim Scott (R-SC), speaks about him – and those with who share his political affiliation and skin color – in the terms you would describe a curious science project. In “The Puzzle of Black Republicans,” the Times summons all the subtlety of the Kool-Aid Man as they smash through the perception that the “paper of record” maintains a single shred of neutrality

It is time for disgusting publications like the New York TImes to be put out of business, Tim Scott is a fine American and he will make an outstanding Senator. He is no token anything.

This "Token" would be the greatest thing ever if the first black senator was a democrat. It shows who the real racists are so this good man will be attacked for being who he is.

The dems love keeping blacks on the plantation. At the gas station yeaterday, a black man noticed my Romney sticker on my car. He said, " i cant believe we lost the eelction. I am stunned that so many stupid people believed Obama´s lies and voted for him." I agreeed and said i was fond ofmHerman Cain. He said "Cain is a very smart man. But I supported Romney all the way. Still cant believe Obama won." Told him the county I grew up in down in South FL had 100% of its precincts turn in more votes than there were registered voters. He aaid "there was definitely fraud going on in many states. How can anyone get 100% of the vote in some places, like Ø did??" Shook his head and drove off in a very nice car. He was well-dressed and looked like a successful person . God bless him. Ø is coming after his money, as well as ours. That man gets it.

Sho´ Nuff!

Get back on the plantation.

And remember the NY Times supported the South during the Civil War.

I can only hope that someday someone from the Republican Party will stand up and call these liberal news rags what they really are: RACIST. They constantly bring race into every discussion and then point fingers at republicans for being anti everything under the sun. And they get away with it. It´s time for republicans to stand up, fight back, call them out, and repudiate everything they say, write, speak. That is why we don´t win elections. We allow ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN, MSNBC and all the liberal newspaper rags in this country to frame the republican talking points. It´s time to wake up and FIGHT BACK!!!

Looks like I was right: I told my friend the other day that the lefties in Carolina were just mad since Gov. Haley´s appointment on Tim Scott took away their ability to play the Race Card (tm). #3 and #5 are right: the left are the REAL racists.

Reply 7 - Posted by: alaskaal, 12/19/2012 9:37:12 AM     (No. 9074103)

So, apparently there should be no blacks in the Senate. That´s not very inclusive.

Teamed up with Trey Gowdy this guy will be able to do some damage to the racist-leftist thugs in congress.

So....ya, they hate his guts which are, incidentally, the same color as everyone else´s.

They call us names, impugn our every word and thought only because with repetition many people believe it and are embarrassed to be labeled a Republican. But, there are exceptions like my friend Barbara who is black, thinks for herself and having been a Democrat knows them like a book. Barbara loudly proclaims, "I am a black Republican and proud of it".

Reply 14 - Posted by: Davids918, 12/19/2012 10:18:33 AM     (No. 9074230)

Most liberals are white upper-middle class (and higher) folks who primiarly live in New England states and the Coastal areas in the West.

Most don´t really care about the plight of blacks or hispanics or any other group expect how can we use them to obtain enough votes to keep our agenda moving forward.

Say what you need to say, act like you care, and blame the other party for all their troubles.

How many minorities are in positions of authority or leadership in the Democrat party?
Leahy, Reid, Pelosi, Dingle, Schumer, Boxer, Kerry....

They trot out Maxine Waters and Barbara Jackson Lee to provide window dressing on X issue since neither is in any jeopardy of losing their seat no matter how outlandish their comments. It´s all part of the liberal Democrat game.

Most African-Americans aren´t liberal.
Most Hispanics aren´t liberal.
Most Asians aren´t liberal.

Reply 22 - Posted by: Chuzzles, 12/19/2012 12:19:40 PM     (No. 9074475)

So according to the racists at the NYT, this good man is just a token? He is the first black senator from the south since 1881, and you want to call him a token? Way to cover history there slimeballs.

I think in view of the mindset of liberals now, that commonsense behaviour could qualify now as a minority in the dem camp.

To liberals there are only two kinds of blacks - house negroes and field negroes. Therefore, Scott must be a token since those are the only kinds of blacks they believe exist. Liberals are racists to the core.

NYT and leftwing extremist uses this code word Token as a term they use for blacks that have strayed from their plantation. They have just modified the Democrat party heyday methods of the KKK to keeps blacks in line.

Thanks Senator Scott and Justice Thomas for being all you can be and leaving the KKK Democrat plantation.

Earlier this week, Roger L. Simon of Pajamas Media broke a story with shocking revelations, contending that slain U.S. ambassador Chris Stevens was in Benghazi on September 11 to buy back Stinger missiles from al-Qaeda groups that had been originally provided to them by the U.S. State Department. Simon cited two former U.S. diplomats: Stevens’ mission in Benghazi, they will say, was to buy back Stinger missiles from al-Qaeda groups issued to them by the State Department, not by the CIA.

New emails between Internal Revenue Service officials released Wednesday as part of congressional testimony give a better view of who knew of the screening of conservative tea party groups and the search terms being used, and when they knew it. The documents also show a bit of the process the IRS used in such situations, but do not answer the question at the heart of the controversy – who made the decision to search for such groups and why. The string of emails is from early June 2011, sparked by a request from Holly Paz,

WASHINGTON — As they watched President Obama lumber into controversy over mandating contraception coverage last winter, some White House staffers were banging their heads against the wall. The lawyers had done it again. Tensions between operatives and the lawyers hired to protect them from legal trouble are a constant in politics. But as President Obama’s beleaguered aides look for someone to blame in an escalating series of scandals, former political, communications, and policy officials complained to BuzzFeed that one culprit is a balance that has tilted too far toward the lawyer, allowing avoidable controversies to boil over.

With Anthony Weiner about to pop into the race for mayor, one of his Democratic rivals demanded yesterday that he pony up $350,000 for the cost of the election required to fill his hastily vacated congressional seat two years ago. Weiner resigned under pressure in June 2011 after it was disclosed he was tweeting lewd pictures of himself to women he’d met on the Internet. In the special election held that September to replace him, Republican Bob Turner pulled off a stunning upset victory over Democrat David Weprin. Taxpayers were stuck with the $350,000 election tab,

After a week of revelations about government spying on reporters and the Internal Revenue Service targeting conservatives, most voters feel “like the federal government has gotten out of control and is threatening the basic civil liberties of Americans.” At the same time, a new Fox News poll finds disapproval of President Obama’s job performance is above 50 percent for the first time in a year, his honesty rating is at a new low and half of voters already think he’s a lame-duck.

Washington rumor has it that Obama wants to be U.N. Secretary General. There are several reasons that make that likely, and if it´s true, it throws new light on a lot of Obama´s oddities -- including his Royalty Bows, his Apology Tours, his Muslim Sellout, and the Benghazi Cover-Up. But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term?

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”
