Connecticut killings a
result of moral decay

Washington Times, by Ted Nugent

Original Article

There’s something terribly wrong. Something stinks. Something is rotten in America. Something is causing young loners to pick up guns and slaughter people. Cops, psychologists, sociologists, politicians and various other talking heads will jabber incessantly about why they think a young man snapped and killed a bunch of bubbly young children who were looking forward to Santa Claus. They will offer their opinions on what they think can be done to stop future psychotics from committing mass murder. They all will be guessing. Some blabbermouths already are using the Connecticut school massacre to promote their anti-gun agenda even though more

Comments:
Mr. Nugent nails it this time. Every day there is attack on traditional American values by radicals and the ACLU and they are destroying our country.

This is the real heart of what is wrong with our country! A spot-on assessment that makes more sense than anything said to date!

A "spot-on assessment", indeed, #1. These monsters have been bred and grown in the liberal cultural petrie dish, and the blame for their behavior rests ultimately and squarely with them. The thing is, on some level, liberals know this. It´s what makes them so vicious.

Well, said, Ted. Agree with everything said, here. Sadly, our American society will probably not recover. I expect more unrest, more violence, more death, more government intervention, and the viscious cycle will continue until all collapses. (Mad Max of the US is coming.)

There is such contempt for anything moral, spiritual and right - led by the DemoRat Socialist party. Look at who we elected? A man who spent 20 years listening to hate speak and total contempt for America spewed by Reverand (and I use that term with suspect) Wright. And we wonder why we´re collapsing? Greed & power. Looters and takers.

Agree that our culture is declining. It´s the decay caused by the "It takes a village" mentality. It doesn´t take a village. It takes a family, a mom and dad if possible, who instill decent moral values in their children without the interference of Leftists who want to introduce all manner of deviancy into those children´s lives.

I was talking with a friend today. We were discussing the things that all the good parents we knew had tried to do with their kids. It boiled down to church or synagogue, scouting or team sports, music or swimming or other lessons, family dinner most nights, no TV until homework was done, no cable TV, no TV in the kid´s rooms, little or no video games (and the only ones permitted were challenging, not violent). As the kids got older, we knew who their friends were and where they were going.

Most good parents we knew had worked hard to keep the evils of our culture out of their homes. Sometimes, even that hadn´t been enough.

It took less than five minutes to read Ted´s comments and he says it all. We must re-do the goodness in our pasts. Family supper together, shared chores, mutual love and respect. Speak and touch one another...express your love to your family members and respect them. Be a unit, a family. Face the world knowing that you have a bond of love among you. It works! But we must work to keep it. It´s God´s will.

Amen, Uncle Ted, Amen. Let me add that libs have spent decades coddling youth, refusing to push them or hold them to standards, more concerned about their self-esteem and fragile psyches rather than preparing them for life out in the harsh, cruel world. When the kids finally get there, they aren´t prepared for it. Most turn to mom and dad or some government hack like Obumbler to bail them out, but some just snap and start firing. If conservatives really want to make a difference, they need to make inroads into the educational system. As long as education is dominated by libtards, our kids are doomed.

Drudge says the mother was going to commit him and he got wind of it. There is moral decay alright but in this case the answer is that the kid is crazy.

Obama said something the other day that more or less endorsed pot smoking. When you have the sort of p*** poor moral leadership from the preident, social decay isn´t far behind.

Obama was out shedding crocodile tears over this shooting but didn´t bat an eye whe nhe heard about botched abortion babies being left to die in utility closets.

We also have a very bad spoiled brat culture going on in this country.Just look as a supposed reverend threatening to gov. of Mich.over a duly passed law.

Kids play brinkmanship with their parents all the time when they don´t get their way as far making suicide attempts.I can´t think of anything more intimidating to a parent than that. The peer pressure in schools to wear this or that clothing or having the latest gadget phone are running parents into deep debt.

You have websites glorifying anorexia and it doesn´t seem to bother anybody.

Don´t get me wrong. I LOVE Ted Nugent and what he says here.

However if you read the lyrics to some of his songs from his younger days, you might appreciate the irony here. He would have been the epitome of moral decay, according to my parents´ generation. I guess what I´m saying is that every generation says this about the ones coming up. Doesn´t make them wrong...there are some very troubling things about kids these days.
But adulthood does bring a new perspective, and every generation says this. Yes, there is moral decay...no question. But I know a lot of young people and they are wonderful, generous, caring, and have their heads on straight.

Your friendly neighborhood columnist has once again run afoul of Facebook’s elusive community standards. Now before you call up the preacher and put me on the church prayer list – let me assure the posting was neither unseemly nor ungentlemanly. This time I was censored for writing something about Rancher Cliven Bundy. I realized I had landed in the Facebook gulag when I tried to post our daily Bible verse. However, I was unable to post anything because Facebook had taken great offense to something I had written. “We removed something your page posted,” Facebook told me in a rather unpleasant message.

President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'

Rep. Colleen Hanabusa (D-HI) says her constituents are "frustrated and embarrassed" by Hawaii´s failed Obamacare exchange, which cost taxpayers $204 million and signed up only 8,000 people. On Wednesday, the Government Accountability Office (GAO) announced it will launch an investigation into Hawaii´s busted Obamacare program. "This is not a partisan issue, this is an economic issue," said state Sen. Sam Slom. Hawaii Gov. Nearly half of American voters think the IRS targeted conservative groups at the request of the White House, and most want Congress to keep investigating the matter. The latest Fox News poll also finds 69 percent don’t feel President Obama has followed through on his vow to “find out exactly what happened on this.” By a 49-41 percent margin, voters believe the Obama administration “intentionally had the IRS target conservative political groups.” That includes 26 percent of Democrats, 52 percent of independents and 71 percent of Republicans. Meanwhile, 67 percent of voters want Congress to keep investigating the IRS until

Reacting to Sunday´s hate crime at two Jewish centers in Kansas City, Sen. Ed Markey (D-Mass.) and Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-N.Y.) introduced today a bill to update the government´s 20-year-old report on hate speech in the media. The Hate Crime Reporting Act of 2014 would examine the role of the Internet and other telecommunications in encouraging hate crimes based on gender, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation, and would provide recommendations to address such crimes. On Sunday, the eve of the Jewish Passover, a 73-year-old man shot and killed three people at the Jewish Community Center

Even though the number of illegal immigrants who have been deported through the courts has dropped by 43% since President Barack Obama took office, the Obama administration may enact administrative changes to allow bond hearings for detained illegal immigrants. According to the Los Angeles Times, this could result in "several thousand" illegal immigrants being released from jails and "could slow the pace of deportations" even more. The Times notes that the White House is scrambling to "ease the concerns of Latino groups and other traditional allies that have turned on President Obama in recent weeks" by trying to brand him

It’s pitiful that we’ve reached this point, but Obama’s account of this chat really is more credible than Cantor’s. O’s position on immigration is straightforward: He wants amnesty badly, partly for legacy reasons and partly because he’s understandably keen to legalize a few million future Democratic voters, and he’s hoping the GOP will go along so that he doesn’t have to do something risky like an executive moratorium on deportations. The GOP leadership’s position is anything but straightforward. They’re convinced that they need to pass some sort of immigration bill before 2016 or else Latinos will hand the White House

Like him or hate him, there is no disputing that Rush Limbaugh’s very special brand of mixing right-wing politics with his flare for entertainment has produced one of the most successful radio programs in the medium’s long history. When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

I live in Las Vegas. I live and breath Nevada politics. Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in the Nevada desert. And Senator Harry Reid’s fingerprints are all over it. I am of course referring to the Bundy Ranch siege. This was a dispute between a Nevada ranching family with rights to the land in question for 140 years and the BLM (Bureayu of Land Management). The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No

It’s the stuff of Westerns: a showdown on the desert plains, the big bad government against an underdog farmer. Though the story has only grabbed national headlines in the past several days, rancher Cliven Bundy has illegally grazed cattle on the Nevada land surrounding his farm for over 20 years. He hasn’t paid grazing fees since 1993, and refuses to renew the necessary grazing permit.(Snip)Rather than using the avenues and pathways presented to him, Bundy has staunchly declared his own law and allegiances.
