Media Ignore Equivalent of
School Shooting Per Month
in Chicago

Breitbart Big Journalism, by John Nolte

Murders in the city of Chicago, Illinois, are up over last year and could hit 500 by the end of this year. That´s 41 a month, and you don´t need me to tell you that almost all of those homicides were caused by a bad guy holding a firearm. But where´s the media to wring their hands over this gun violence? Where´s the 24/7 news coverage, presidential addresses, and push for answers? When people talk about our country becoming "desensitized" to violence, most of the time that´s a discussion about films and video games.

Not to be overlooked:

Newton was a ´great tragedy´, Fort Hood was merely ´workplace violence´!

However, they both occurred in GUN FREE ZONES!!

The numbers aren´t quite as high, but the same could be said for New York City. Detroit has the same issue and not a peep out of the LSM. Can´t show that Dem plans are a total failure.

Um, I said this days ago when the first Chicago shooting after Newtown happened.

The media and control junkies don´t want to talk about gang violence in Chicago because, 1. it happens in a strict gun control city, 2. they´re scared to death to talk about the cultural component, and 3. this kind of gang culture is unique to America so it doesn´t further the narrative.

Of course, they love to lump those statistics into the "gun violence" numbers they cite to demand gun control, they just don´t want to talk about specifics.

I´m surprised that Jesse Jackson and Pflager haven´t picked up on this. Rahm is demanding more gun control, not because of the murders of African Americans and Hispanics in his own city but because of the murders of white children and teachers in a wealthy white community (trying to think like Jesse).

Rahm lives in a glass house so he´ll remain silent while the carnage continues in Chic-Town. After all, it is just "the brothas be´in brothas". Sad commentary but it will not stop.

The lowest crime rate in America is in Kennesaw, Georgia. Kennesaw has a law requiring all home owners to have a gun.

The media, and the mostly white liberal political establishment running the Democrat party, don´t care about people of color except when they vote.

Something else ´media´ ignores (largely) - a report from the CDC a few weeks ago noted that HIV is pretty well in ´epidemic´ territory among males in the 12 to 24 age range...

This pretty well tells us what the results of the Federal ´non-bullying safe schools´ decade long indoctrination in ´gay sex is normal and healthy´ has reaped.

Sucks when ´diversity and tolerance´ have a higher body count than Smith & Wesson...

Just one of the gazillion things I loathe about zippy is his complete detachment and apathy about the weekly deaths of ´his people´ in his town. If anyone on the planet has the standing and ability to influence the black gangbangers in Chicago, it is him. And he does absolutely nothing, not even one uttered word.

The only explanation I have is that he is a cold hearted phony ´brother´. Or he knows that all of the shooting and murder is happening in the community he organized and he doesn´t want to be held responsible for his abject failure there. If it doesn´t help him in some way, it doesn´t exist,in his narcissistic way of thinking.

When white children and women go missing or are brutally murdered, the lefties scream and holler about the racism that denies similar coverage to non-white children and women who go missing or are brutally murdered. What hypocrites. But then we knew that already.

Less than 16 hours after Chelsea Clinton announced she was pregnant, a lot of major news outlets started staring into the crystal ball of Chelsea’s womb, wondering what this currently floating zygotic multicellular being meant for the prospects of Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign, which is also a floating, zygotic, multicellular being. Their answer: The immaculately conceived Clinton child could mean everything. And no, it’s not just the fact that having a grandchild could be personally fulfilling to Hillary and Bill (mazel tov, by the way), or that a cute baby would be a sweet cherry on top of Hillary’s already

One day after making an audio appearance on RT to ask Vladimir Putin about Russian surveillance operations, National Security Agency leaker Edward Snowden authored a Guardian column to clarify his intentions behind the question and push back on critics who suggest he was attempting to help whitewash the Russian president’s abuses. “Does Russia intercept, analyse or store millions of individuals’ communications?” Snowden asked Putin on Thursday, garnering a denial from Putin that included the statement: “We don’t have mass system of such interception. And according to our law it cannot exist.” Critics alleged that Snowden appeared in a scripted manner,

When a video of high school student Jeff Bliss calling out his teacher went viral, a lot of people started talking about the state of our education system and ways to improve it. However, almost a year since the video was posted, not much has changed. Take this attempted explanation of Common Core’s approach to math: (Letter & Charts) How is this helping? In 2010, just over eleven thousand homicides in this country were due to the use of firearms. The thirty-thousand figure is composed of all deaths due to firearms, regardless of the situation, and the word ‘violent’ is

It´s not just carriage horse drivers saying neigh to plans for vintage cars tooling around Central Park. The Central Park Conservancy, the nonprofit organization that manages the city’s most famous greenspace, is coming out against a proposal backed by Mayor de Blasio to replace the horse-drawn carriages with replica old-time cars. Doug Blonsky, the conservancy’s president & CEO, told the Daily News that introducing the electric vehicles to the park would be a bad idea. “Forty million people visit Central Park each year, including runners, bicyclists, kids and dog owners,” Blonsky said Wednesday. “Adding vehicles to the mix will make the

Shortly after 1 a.m. Wednesday, a 19-year-old in a hoodie and baggy jeans was captured on a grainy black-and-white surveillance video urinating into a reservoir that slakes the thirst of Portland, Ore.’s 600,000 or so residents. (Cue the disgusted “Ewwwwwwwws!” right here.) But really, Portland Water Bureau officials, do you have to flush 38 million gallons of potable water for the sake of a cup or two of human urine? That’s how much the bladder comfortably holds, although the bladder in question obviously wasn’t comfortable. We get the fact that Beervana prides itself on its water supply. The water bureau

After presenting at the Academy Awards this year, Kim Novak didn’t want to leave her house. The Hitchcock screen siren, 81, was too humiliated to venture from her home near the Rogue River in Oregon. When it comes to tracking the cost of Obama family vacations, there are two primary challenges. First, the Obamas are prolific jet-setters, so there are many details to track. Second, the Obama administration, clearly embarrassed by these lavish and frequent family vacations, stonewalls the release of records at every turn. But we have been relentless in pursuit of this information. Our attorneys file the lawsuits and make our case, and our investigators pour through pages of records and crunch the numbers. And the information we’ve uncovered – information that would otherwise remain under lock and key – shows that the

I live in Las Vegas. I live and breath Nevada politics. Something is very wrong. Something smells rotten in the Nevada desert. And Senator Harry Reid’s fingerprints are all over it. I am of course referring to the Bundy Ranch siege. This was a dispute between a Nevada ranching family with rights to the land in question for 140 years and the BLM (Bureayu of Land Management). The government claims they haven’t paid grazing fees for 20 years. The result was a government assault on the ranch- including snipers with assault rifles, SUV’s, helicopters, airplanes and over 200 heavily armed troops. No

President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'

It’s the stuff of Westerns: a showdown on the desert plains, the big bad government against an underdog farmer. Though the story has only grabbed national headlines in the past several days, rancher Cliven Bundy has illegally grazed cattle on the Nevada land surrounding his farm for over 20 years. He hasn’t paid grazing fees since 1993, and refuses to renew the necessary grazing permit.(Snip)Rather than using the avenues and pathways presented to him, Bundy has staunchly declared his own law and allegiances. Unfortunately, reality doesn’t work this way. If only it did—we could rebel for paying stupid taxes, refuse to
