Yesterday we brought you reports of NRA President David Keene and NRA members receiving death threats in light of the Sandy Hook tragedy and now, Campus Reform has reported that University of Rhode Island Professor Erik Loomis has called for NRA Vice President Wayne LaPierre´s "head on a stick" during a rant on his Twitter page. Loomis also called the NRA a terrorist organization. “[I] want Wayne LaPierre’s head on a stick,” Erik Loomis, a professor at the University of Rhode Island (URI), tweeted. It “looks like the National Rifle Association has murdered some more children,” he added.”
Comments: That´s what we need, a call for more violence. s/o Where´s the condemnation from 0bama for these threatening, violent statements? We know we won´t hear a word from that hypocrite.
When sticks are banned only nutty professors will have sticks. The left is so convinced of their position and the evil nature of those that would disagree they can make complete fools of themselves without comprehending the irony or hyprocricy.
Guys like this and the union mob threatening the Michigan Gov. and his family are the reason folks hold on to thier "assault rifles". Single shots don´t do much good against an attacking mob. And for Sen. Feinstein, how about giving up your security detail? I´m my own security detail.

The ACLU, not the NRA is responsible for this tragedy, IMHO. Ct. had a law allowing involuntary committment to an institution on the books until the ACLU fought against it and it was removed. Had this law been in place, Lanza could have been put away and not harmed anyone. ACLU, you have the blood of these victims on your hands.
How is the head supposed to get on the stick? Will it jump off the neck on its own? No, it will have to be removed. How? How about a knife or machete? Ban knives. Maybe a saw? Ban saws. A box cutter. Ban box cutters. Twisted off by someone´s hands? Ban hands. But how would we remove hands? Can´t use a knife or saw, they´re banned. This "professor´s" brain is apparently already on a stick somewhere. It certainly is no longer in his head.
#1 Yesterday was the first time I heard ´assault weapon´. I thought that it was odd that they were using this term instead of the commonly used ´assault rifle´. Now it is understandable. Anything that can be used for protection will be labeled as an assault weapon. I guess the left thinks we should not assault our assailants. Just roll-over, play dead and hope they let us live after they do with us whatever they want.
I hope one of Loomis´s friends contacts the Rhode Island sheriff and expresses their concern about his mental health. He sounds unstable. He could do harm to someone. Come on law enforcement, check him out. Take a canine unit and let the dog sniff around his door. Seriously, check the record. Most horrific violent incidents brewed in the leftist environment and then exploded. This guy is unibomber material.
The reality is Loomis and the groups he supports, like the ACLU, are the ones responsible for tens of thousands of murders. When the NRA pleaded and offered to help implement Project Exile in cities like Providence, they were rejected by all but a few Democrat mayors. Those same mayors plea bargained criminals back into society to commit more crime instead of ENFORCING the gun laws already on the books. Loomis and people like him disarm the stalked citizens and allow crazed criminals to murder women and their children, store clerks, and ordinary, innocent people, EVERY single day. Someone needs to medicate this menace, before he attacks a student or anyone who disagrees with his death threats.
Put this down with the other hot rhortic of the left..like "Revenge, there will be blood in the streets, we know where your daughter plays soccer", and they bring of box cutters to Lansing MI rally destroying a tent, and a man´s hot dog stand! Movies, vidio game makers, and rappers with violent lyrics, are generally pro Obama,,,and the left. finallt "I Won" spoken by the same guy that said Revenge"in the campaign!
Decades ago, my old friend - as a promising teenager- went hunting, leaned his shotgun on a barbed wire fence, and moved the wire to crawl through. The gun fell and shot off several of his fingers, ruining what had been a promising career.
At about the same time, a gun use organization visited my high school and gave a lecture on gun safety which I have remembered for the past 66 years. They told us that all guns are loaded until you know they aren´t, never to point a person in jest, etc. and how to store them and use them safely. I think it was the NRA or a similar organization.
Well, Professor, why don´t you just head over to Mr. LaPierre´s house and try to collect his head for your ´´head on a stick´´ collection?
Just walk on up to the front door with your machette in hand, and inform his wife why you are there.
Then do whatever atheists do right when they realize they are about to die in a hail of very legal bullets (I´m guessing it inolves soiling of their panties). And that hail of bullets will just be from Mrs. LaPierre. A wimpy girlyman like you won´t take the power of a real man to stop. Of course, while being a lady, I´m sure that Mrs. LaPierre is still a lot tougher than you are.
Seriouisly, go on Professor. You sure do a tough tweet. Let´s see how tough you are when you have to face a real man like Mr. LaPierre face to face!!!
This fool teaches our misinformed students in Rhode Island. Loomis - I am not giving crap to satisfy you and other stupid liberal jerks! To All Reading this - GO and exercise you 2nd Amendment Right - Buy yourself another firearm and extra ammunition.
Only in academia can someone this stupid not only be responsible for teaching your children but keep his job and respect in his community.
It would be differant if he had a real job and actually performed a service to the country or even his students. He can not even control himself why would we assume that he can teach and control his students.
When your childrens come home and you realize that they are less educated than we they left home, look at this man and know the reason.
President Obama has recalled John Podesta to work at the White House as a “counselor.” Podesta is the Clinton hand who founded the far-left Center for American Progress (home of the clownish Think Progress blog). Podesta’s appointment, which needs no congressional approval, comes at a time when Obama is already making moves to do without Congress. He has used executive actions to re-write Obamacare, and to recalibrate immigration law, both in ways that just happen to favor either himself or the Democrats. The New York Times reports that Podesta will work on executive actions when he returns to the White
On CNN’s “Reliable Sources” on Sunday, new host Brian Stelter turned to President Obama the press critic. At the end of his cakewalk “Hardball” interview last week, Obama called out the media for being divisive. “The American people are good and they are decent. And yes, we get very divided partly because our politics and our media specifically tries to divide them and splinter them.” Stelter asked a decent question about whether that was an odd statement to make on divisive MSNBC. NPR television critic Eric Deggans shot that down, insisting MSNBC was a “great place” to attack cable news
Former CIA Director Leon Panetta revealed classified information at a 2011 awards ceremony attended by Zero Dark Thirty filmmaker Mark Boal, according to documents obtained by the conservative watchdog group Judicial Watch. The CIA allowed Boal, the screenwriter of Zero Dark Thirty, to attend a June 24, 2011 award ceremony celebrating the successful raid on Osama bin Laden’s hideout in Abbottabad, Pakistan that May. A transcript of Panetta’s speech that night obtained by Judicial Watch is labeled “top secret,” and significant portions of it are redacted. At the conclusion his speech, Panetta told the audience, “You have made me proud
UPDATE: Rep. Paul Ryan and Sen. Patty Murray unveiled a budget proposal Tuesday night. The proposal, which has yet to be voted on, busts through sequester caps, setting FY 2014 spending at $1.014 trillion — billions beyond the levels mandated by sequester. The proposal contains no mention of pension reform. Conservatives had better start paying attention to the budget battle raging in Washington: If things go south — and they are poised to do just that — the tea party’s single greatest policy victory, the sequester, could be destroyed. And worse yet, it could be destroyed in exchange for nothing. The sequester
Approval of ObamaCare in the United States has risen eight percentage points in the last month, according to a new poll. Thirty-nine percent of people now approve of the law, according to a CBS News/New York Times poll released Tuesday evening. Half of the public, by contrast, disapproves of ObamaCare, the poll found. Nearly 60 percent say they don’t think the sign-up process for ObamaCare is going well, but more than one-third say it’s improving. These figures come in just ten days after the administration touted the repaired federal portal for the insurance, HealthCare.gov. Obama’s general job approval rating has increased to 42 percent,
Rep. Karen Bass (D-Calif.), in an appearance on MSNBC´s "PoliticsNation" on Friday, condemned former Sen. Rick Santorum´s comments comparing Nelson Mandela´s fight against apartheid to the fight against Obamacare as "shameful." "And actually if I was going to make a comparison, I would make the opposite comparison, because I think the struggle for justice, which Nelson Mandela led for so many years is similar as the struggle for the health care as a right for people in the richest country in the world, and so the idea that they would make that comparison in the opposite way is just tragic,"
According to a new Rasmussen Report, the majority of Americans do not believe the deportation of illegal immigrants living in the United States is aggressive enough. More than 20 House Democrats last week urged President Obama to halt the deportation of illegal immigrants until Congress passes a comprehensive immigration reform plan, but voters by a two-to-one margin oppose that idea. Most already think the federal government is not vigilant enough in deporting those who are in this country illegally. Only 29% of Likely U.S. Voters think the government should stop deporting illegal immigrants until Congress passes an immigration reform plan.
When I was a kid, I knew two different Santa Clauses. The first had a fat belly, rosy cheeks, a long white beard, and skin as pink as bubble gum. He was omnipresent, visiting my pre-school and the local mall, visible in all of my favorite Christmas specials. Then there was the Santa in my family’s household, in the form of ornaments, cards, and holiday figurines. A near-carbon copy of the first one—big belly, rosy cheeks, long white beard: check, check, check. But his skin was as dark as mine. Seeing two different Santas was bewildering. Eventually I asked my father what
US President Barack Obama may have moved the masses attending Nelson Mandela’s memorial service with his stirring eulogy, but it was his grinning "selfie" with the Danish and British premiers that set social networks abuzz. In a candid moment captured by a photographer, Denmark’s Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt can be seen holding up her smartphone, with Obama lending a helping hand, as they pose for a picture with David Cameron, all three of them smiling broadly in their seats at Soweto’s World Cup stadium.(Snip)Mashable, the news and technology website, ran the photograph under the headline: ‘‘Dear Obama: Funerals are no place
Johannesburg - A man who provided sign language interpretation on stage for Nelson Mandela´s memorial service, attended by scores of heads of state, was a "fake," the national director of the Deaf Federation of South Africa said on Tuesday. Asked about the claim by The Associated Press, South Africa´s government said it was preparing a statement. Three sign language experts said the man was not signing in South African or American sign languages. South African sign language covers all of the country´s 11 official languages, according to the federation. It wasn´t immediately clear if the unidentified man was using a
On his way to the podium at the memorial ceremony for former South African president Nelson Mandela, President Obama walked down the line of dignitaries, greeting other leaders there to pay their respects. Among the hands shaken: that of Cuban leader Raul Castro. Obama neither made a special effort to shake Castro’s hand nor to avoid him. A snub might have been awkward: In his speech, Obama praised Mandela’s “greatest gift” as “his recognition that we are all bound together in ways that can be invisible to the eye; that there is a oneness to humanity; that we achieve ourselves by
The Obama State Department has finally released a second round of photos revealing the harrowing devastation wrought by a terrorist attack on the U.S. Consulate in Benghazi on Sept. 11, 2012. The new photographs depict rampant damage to the consulate. They show charred walls, smoldering fires, Arabic graffiti defacing exterior walls, and scattered debris throughout. The extent of the damage would lead any reasonably serious person to conclude that this was a cold, calculated attack, carefully coordinated to mark the 11th anniversary of Sept. 11, 2001. Unfortunately for the American people, the Obama-Clinton-Rice cabal that led to the Benghazi cover-up was
House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) snapped at conservative groups that have come out in opposition to the budget deal reached Wednesday between Rep. Paul Ryan (R-Wis.) and Sen. Patty Murray (D-Wash.). "They´re using the American people for their own purposes. This is ridiculous," Boehner said at a press conference with other members of House Republican leadership on Wednesday. Over the past few days, a number of conservative groups have blasted the deal because it sets discretionary spending levels in the budget higher than previous levels under sequestration. In the past three days, the influential Heritage Action, Club for Growth, Americans
A black fashion student says he was brutally attacked by a gang of Hasidic men who shouted anti-gay slurs at him while he was walking through Williamsburg after a night of partying, the Daily News has learned. Taj Patterson, 22, was headed home to Fort Greene around 4:30 a.m. on Dec. 1 when he says more than a dozen ultra-Orthodox Jewish men began assaulting him on Flushing Ave. and yelling, “Stay down, f----t!”
