Why do the British papers so often seem to scoop the local press and write in a coherent manner? While sensationalism drives their headlines, I find that there is some attempt to write a story rather than digest press clippings, paraphrase spox and regurgitate their colleagues´, too often, ill informed stories

Can´t blame them. Imagine what their lives would be like with the press camped out in their front yard for days.

The sub headline says the divorce was because of money, but that is only what the wife said on the divorce papers. (that seems unlikely, given her husband´s position and income.) Although it was reported, early on, that she was a teacher at the school, or a teachers´ aide, she was neither. She didn´t work, but lived comfortably on her ex husband´s dime, spent alot of time pub crawling.
Based on the descriptions I have read about her, she reminds me in a way, of OJ Simpson´s dead wife.

Yeah, I just read about the Mom not being a teacher or teacher´s aide, the reporting on this tragedy has been absolutely atrocious. They also reported that his Father lived in New Jersey and was also dead. The media have once again screwed up on this.

The press make me ill.

They did not have any choice to leave with all the press on their doorsteps, and with all the worldwide publicity, who knows what crazy person will show at their door.

The media: fake but accurate, as always.

leave these poor people alone. how would you feel if one of your relatives committed such an awful crime?

Why does the media have such morbid curiosity about every little detail ? There are kids involved, back off.

These two are smarter than the Reporters who can´t figure out why they took off!

It is bad when we have to go to the Daily Mail to find out Richard Engle is missing!! I believe the British have actual journalists.
