| Sen. Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.), who wrote the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act and authored the original assault weapons ban in the House, said Sunday that the shooting massacre in Newtown, Conn., “could be the tipping point” in advancing gun control in Congress. “Well I think we could be at a tipping point for two reasons: a tipping point where we might actually get something done. First, this was not a single incident. It followed a series of others. In the last few months, we’ve had mass shootings in Oregon and Wisconsin and Colorado,” Schumer

Comments: There is nothing more contemptible than these vile Democrats using this tragedy to further their political goals. I despise them with every ounce of my being.

We see in December 2012, some of the very same things seen in 1692 during the Salem Witch Trials: panic, hysteria, provocation, blame, Satan (for Satan read: ´assault weapons´- the tool of Satan, the NRA, conservatives, talk show hosts), innocent victims of smears and accusations (Ms. Nancy Lanza), the list goes on. The more things change, the more they remain the same .

And they literally are baffled by high gun show attendance this last weekend.
We went to the local gunshow (400 tables) and I have never ever seen so many people at a gunshow in my life.. men, women, children, all ages, races, and backgrounds. We had to wait in line for 15 mins just to get in the door.
They can bellow all they like but in the end unlike other issue like abortion and gay marriage, the freedom to own guns for self defense is an issue that crosses all boundaries, all races, religions, sexual preferences, ages, and even political philosophies. Taking the pulse of the liberal party crowd in SF and NYC on this issue as a reference to govern policy will not serve the gun grabbers particularly well.

´Red´ Bloomberg just had a press conference during which he compared criminals (on the streets with assault weapons) with hundreds of thousands of law-abiding gun owners. He also attacked the National Rifle Association repeatedly and did not mention that its president was threatened with death. ´Red´ left the lectern with his armed bodyguards after he was finished spewing.

You wish, schumer.
We will NEVER give up OUR RIGHT to SELF DEFENSE even as you liberals try as hard as you can to make America defenseless in every way.
Interestingly, it was pointed out on another website that two of the largest murders in US history were commited with airplanes and car(bombs). NOT GUNS.

#17 Feinstein has had a concealed carry permit since at least 1995. I think she likes the Airweight .38. Schumer has a NY state concealed carry permit, but I´m sure HIS works in NYC, which the normal NY STATE permit does not. The network NEWS will never report these facts, you have to dig to find out just how big these hypocrites are.

In 2007, then Senator Barack Obama appeared on CNN´s Larry King Live and called on U.S. Attorney General Alberto Gonzales to resign. Obama said Gonzales was acting more like the president´s attorney than the people´s attorney and viewed himself as an "enabler of the administration." "Well, I voted against Alberto Gonzales confirmation for precisely the reason we are seeing now. I said this on the floor of the senate, that although he seemed to be a capable attorney, he seemed to conceive his role as being the president´s attorney instead of being the people´s attorney," Obama said.

The way to prevent abortionists like convicted murderer Kermit Gosnell from occurring again is to build more Planned Parenthood clinics, Rep. Jerrold Nadler (D-N.Y.) said at a House Judiciary Subcommittee hearing on Thursday about legislation that would prevent abortion after 20 weeks nationwide. “I would urge my colleagues to think about the extent to which he, Dr. Gosnell, represented the poor quality of health care services available in poorer communities,” Nadler said at the Subcommittee on the Constitution and Civil Justice hearing. “We should be working to make sure that high quality

House Speaker John A. Boehner on Thursday flatly ruled out chances of the House passing the Senate’s immigration bill, saying his chamber will debate its own bill instead. The Ohio Republican and his top lieutenants in the party issued a joint statement that seemed designed to tamp down some of the momentum behind the Senate bill, which emerged from a committee on a bipartisan 13-5 vote this week, and to stake out a House GOP position. “While we applaud the progress made by our Senate colleagues, there are numerous ways in which

During friendly questioning from Rep. Hank “I fear that Guam will capsize!” Johnson in Congress last week, Attorney General Eric Holder offered the following statement. In regard to potential prosecution of the press for the disclosure of material. This is not something I’ve ever been involved in, heard of, or would think would be wise policy. He made that statement before the facts about the sweep on Fox News’ James Rosen were known. Since then, it’s come to light that Holder himself approved the subpoena that, among other things, named Rosen as a criminal co-conspirator.

As the saying goes, scratch a liberal and you’ll find a tyrant underneath. NY Gov. Andrew Cuomo is but the latest example. He shoved a very restrictive and ill-considered gun law through the state legislature in the dead of night. Among its flaws, the law criminalized police officers who tote firearms with magazines that hold more than seven rounds. Sheriffs around the state have objected to the law. Cuomo summoned them to the state capitol under what appears to be a false pretext, and used the meeting to threaten them into silence. Cuomo invited

The National Council of La Raza (translation: The Race) has partnered with the Office of Personnel Management to encourage Hispanic activists and members to burrow into the federal government. A workshop sponsored by La Raza/The Race will take place in New Orleans on July 23, 2013. Senior Executive Service (SES) employees are federal government employees in special executive management positions, often with salaries approaching $200,000 per year (and well past that with benefits). OPM, a federal government agency, is cooperating and partnering

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

Anthony Weiner’s New York mayoral candidacy was only made more improbable today after he revealed that he visited a Houston psychiatric facility following his resignation from Congress in 2011. Haunted by scandal surrounding his sexually explicit online communications with women, the Democratic former congressman sought treatment for his compulsive behavior from mental health professionals at the Gabbard Center. According to its website, the facility provides “3-day outpatient psychiatric evaluation,” particularly to “professionals who are in personal or professional crises.” While Weiner did not disclose

Fox News chief Roger Ailes has sent a memo to his subordinates at the leading cable news network. He sent this memo to his staff today in connection with the federal investigation into an alleged leak to Fox News reporter James Rosen, a story that the Washington Post’s Ann E. WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”
