Report: Boehner Caves Again, Offers
Obama Year Delay on Debt Limit

Breitbart´s Big Government, by Matthew Boyle

Original Article

Posted By:LittleHoodedMonk, 12/17/2012 1:03:09 AM

House Speaker John Boehner apparently broke from Republican Party principles yet again this weekend, this time with a reported agreement to give President Barack Obama a full year-long free ride that would give up all GOP leverage until early 2014 on the debt ceiling. “House Speaker John A. Boehner has offered to push any fight over the federal debt limit off for a year, a major concession that would deprive Republicans of leverage in the budget battle but is breathing new life into stalled talks over the year-end ‘fiscal cliff,’” the Washington Post reported late Sunday evening.

Comments:
Boehner has jumped the shark if he thinks that he speaks for "conservative" GOP voters. While we are sadly distracted by weekends events, this deal is obviously made with the Devil. Just who is giving him the authority to conduct these budget negotiations?

The United States does not have a Liberal party and a Conservative party.
The United States has a Liberal party and a Marxist party.

The Cavemen. It´s now official.

I wonder how many votes Romney lost because frustrated Republican supporters just couldn´t muster enough enthusiasm to vote for Cavemen again..

This is insane. The debt goes even more out of control. Our taxes become even more confiscatory. And Obama skates for one more year.

Is Boehner a Democrat mole or what?

I´m seriously beginning to think they are all in on this nightmare, every last one of them. Obama gets away with everything. Everything. Why? Either that or I´m really dead and residing in hell.

His Arrogance, Lord Obama sits on his throne and awaits the next improvement of jester Boehner´s terms, and haughtily discards each one, awaiting the terms that are identical to his own. What a joke!?

Cave, raise the debt ceiling for another year. Huh? By the time 2013 passes by, the debt will be $23 trillion. Is Boehner nuts?

The debt celing has to be raised, the problem is Boehner is giving too much away without getting any concessions by Obama on spending.Obama says tax reform is too big an issue to deal with in a couple weeks, so just him him is tax increase and we´ll talk later about entitlement cuts.

I don´t like the idea of a working business person banging his head against the wall all year to make ends meet having to pay 39% in taxes, while a fat lazy ass person like Buffet pays 15% if you´re lucky he doesn´t write all the tax liability off.

Investors are taking cheap bernake money and buying stock in overseas markets because they have 5% plus economic growth potential. Then they headquarter their money in tax havens to avoid paying taxes. These are the kind of rackets that need busting up,not trying to run small business out of business.

well, obviously Buffett is a fat lazy * person. He´s very wealthy and we, as Americans, hate the wealthy. Geez I´m sick of this stuff. The government must curtail spending which is making slaves of Americans. This nation is made up of a people who are welcome to become as wealthy as they can without the government holding them back. Can we return to knowing true liberty??

President Obama on Friday signed into law a bill authored by Texas Republican Sen. Ted Cruz that would bar an Iranian diplomat from entering the United States, but immediately issued a statement saying he won´t enforce it. Obama decided to treat the law as mere advice. "Acts of espionage and terrorism against the United States and our allies are unquestionably problems of the utmost gravity, and I share the Congress´s concern that individuals who have engaged in such activity may use the cover of diplomacy to gain access to our Nation," Obama said in his signing statement. "Nevertheless, as President [George H.W.] Bush also observed,

Jeb Bush’s recent musings on a possible presidential run—and his comments on immigration, rankling many in the Republican grassroots—sparked a familiar clash. Jeb, the establishment’s preferred candidate, some said, could neutralize the fiery GOP base in 2016. Conservatives shot back that Jeb would depress conservative turnout, and his last name would play poorly with the general electorate. It’s a constant tension: The base is unhappy with the establishment, and vice versa. But this year, the marriage of convenience between the grassroots of the party and its donor class has emerged so battered from eight years of

Tehran, Iran - Iran will redesign its Arak heavy water reactor to greatly limit the amount of plutonium it can make, the country´s vice president said Saturday, marking a major concession from the Islamic Republic in negotiations with world powers over its contested nuclear program. The comments by Vice President Ali Akbar Salehi comes as the talks face an informal July 20 deadline to hammer out a final deal to limit Iran´s ability to build nuclear arms in exchange for ending the crippling economic sanctions it faces. Iranian state television quoted Salehi, who heads the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, as saying that Iran has

Washington - As President Barack Obama travels through Asia this coming week, he will find a region that’s warily watching the crisis in Ukraine through the prism of its own territorial tensions with China. Each of the four countries on Obama’s itinerary — Japan, South Korea, Malaysia and the Philippines — has a dispute with Beijing over islands in the South and East China Seas. (Snip) Administration officials, including Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel, have taken a tougher line on the territorial issues in recent weeks, sternly warning China against the use of military force and noting that the U.S. has not formally taken sides on the question

Doctors can be hard people to shock, but a recent case left one surgeon flabbergasted. A 63-year-old man came to hospital complaining of vomiting and stomach pain. He claimed he´d swallowed the lid of a bottle in an act of anger during a marital dispute, and was given an x-ray. Doctors knew what they were seeing was no bottle cap, but it was not until they operated on the man that the source of his complaint was revealed. Twelve bars of gold weighing nearly 400g were found in the man´s stomach and removed. The BBC reports that police and customs authorities had questioned the businessman and confiscated the gold.

Doha, Qatar - The Muslim Brotherhood, the Islamic political organization that has been defanged in almost every area where it was once a key player, has driven a deep rift between the Gulf´s two most powerful players. Months of tension between Qatar and its neighbors came to a head last month when Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) withdrew their ambassadors. Although the regional Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) announced yesterday that the parties had resolved their disagreement, that will likely remain a surface-level fix unless Qatar abandons its support of the Muslim Brotherhood – something it

After presenting at the Academy Awards this year, Kim Novak didn’t want to leave her house. The Hitchcock screen siren, 81, was too humiliated to venture from her home near the Rogue River in Oregon. She read the cruel posts and Internet snark about her appearance, and it was just too much. “It got to me like it gets kids and teenagers,” she told the Associated Press. The “Vertigo” actress, considered one of the great beauties in her day, posted a note on her Facebook wall Thursday, acknowledging that she’d gotten fat injections in her face and addressing her halted

It’s the stuff of Westerns: a showdown on the desert plains, the big bad government against an underdog farmer. Though the story has only grabbed national headlines in the past several days, rancher Cliven Bundy has illegally grazed cattle on the Nevada land surrounding his farm for over 20 years. He hasn’t paid grazing fees since 1993, and refuses to renew the necessary grazing permit.(Snip)Rather than using the avenues and pathways presented to him, Bundy has staunchly declared his own law and allegiances. Unfortunately, reality doesn’t work this way. If only it did—we could rebel for paying stupid taxes, refuse to

The White House is going to war with another fox — and this time, it’s personal. The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls. A group of seven multiracial Washington and Lee University (W&L) students are demanding the school remove all Confederate flags from campus and "acknowledge" General Robert E. Lee´s "dishonorable side." According to the Roanoke Times, "seven multiracial students, calling themselves ´The Committee,´" have also demanded the school "acknowledge and apologize for participating in chattel slavery." They want recognition of "Martin Luther King Jr. Day on the undergraduate campus" and an end to "neo-Confederates" marching across campus "to the Lee Chapel on Lee-Jackson Day." The students say they will "engage in civil disobedience" if their demands are not met by September 1st. They added: "The

GREENSBORO, Ga. — Golf holes the size of pizzas. Soccer balls on the back nine. A mulligan on every hole. These are some of the measures — some would say gimmicks — that golf courses across the country have experimented with to stop people from quitting the game. Golf has always reveled in its standards and rich tradition. But increasingly a victim of its own image and hidebound ways, golf has lost five million players in the last decade, according to the National Golf Foundation, with 20 percent of the existing 25 million golfers apt to quit in the next few years. People under 35 have especially spurned the game, saying it takes too

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our
