| Dem. Rep. Jerrold Nadler is at least being honest about how he, and no doubt many Leftists, would like to feast off an unthinkable tragedy and exploit it in order to pursue a nonsensical agenda that would ensure only bad guys have guns. Last night on "The Ed Show," Nadler openly called for President Obama to "exploit" the murder of 20 children, “I think we will be there if the president exploits it, and otherwise we’ll go on to the next.” In his statement to the country yesterday, while he wasn´t specific about what action

Too bad Jerry, Bayrock has not passed a budget since he has been POTUS. HE got to do that first. Don´t you wish he had been taking care of business? Give the teachers a $50/Month stipend to maintain a CC permit and end "GUN FREE" zones!

The Real Truth of the Matter
No sane, rational personal can fail to be heartbroken over the deaths in the Connecticut school shooting this past Friday.
The young man who did this was mentally ill.
He is now being judged by his Maker for the deeds he did in the flesh. Unlike this life, justice in the next life is certain.
Now our politicians and others will begin the ritual of trying to eliminate guns (it began before we even knew the name of the assailant, or knew that he was a young male with mental problems)
The young man could have killed by setting fire to the school... maybe with even more deaths. He could have killed by running over the kids with a car or truck as they waited for the school bus. He cold have killed them with nails and nuts and bolts in a pipe bomb. He chose to use a gun.
Each year there are about 12,000 people killed in the US by all type of guns. Each year there are about 4,000 people killed with knives. Each year there are about 1,000 people killed with blunt objects like baseball bats, shovels and lampstands. Each year there are about 2500 people killed by other methods (poisoning, etc.)
Total - about 20,000 people.
Each year (over the last thirty years) there is an average of about 40,000 people who are killed in automobile accidents.
If we really want to save lives – the MOST lives - ban the automobile.
YES, that’s stupid. So is it stupid to ban all knives, all baseball bats and all lampshades. WHY? Because it is PEOPLE who kill, not the implement.

Michael Bloomberg didn´t even have the decency to wait until there was a final body count before he was on national TV calling for the end of private gun ownership.
As for Obama, you don´t have to fret about missing his opportunity. While the rest of the country mourns these little kids, you can count on Obama seeing a world rich with political opportunity ripe for the milking.

Let´s try not selling guns to mentally unstable people...opps, already do that.
Let´s ban guns altogether... Opps, See how well that works for cocaine.
Reinstate the "bad gun" ban.... Opps, he had pistols as well.
What really needs to happen is for people to get over the idea that they must not report unstable people for fear of stigmatizing them. opps, they don´t get in the database that bans them from buy guns. Well, at least you didn´t stigmatize them.

If people get their cues from government, it might be wise to condider a few facts: 1. The U.S. is one of the largest exporters and suppliers of light and heavy firepower to much of the Third World. We are also on the U.N Security Council. I won´t even talk about China, Russia, and the major players in Europe. The Left worships at the altar of the UN 2. The Left was all in a lather over the Iraq War. But now that a Democrat is in charge, and is ordering armed drone strikes on suspected terrorists without due process, the collective Left is mostly silent. 3. The Left screams and rants over an aberrant school massacre carried out by a maniac, and claim to care about the children. Yet, they continue to cheer and promote the daily slaughter of life that is carried out in abortion clinics. The estimated death toll is 300 million and rising since Roe v Wade was decided by the Supreme Court. 3. The Left considers G. W Bush one of the worst, evil presidents in U.S. history. Yet, they continue to worship Bill Clinton, a serial sexual harrasser, abuser, and unindicted rapist. I could go on and on and on, but the fact is, we live in an insane world that is run by various sociopaths and psychopaths. And we´re shocked when another isolated loser snaps his tether and mows down a bunch of helpless children.

I´m sure this thought immediately occurred on the left, and they´re pausing briefly to make it less obvious. I don´t doubt some silently celebrated this opportunity to push their agenda, though it´s likely one of their own that perpetrated the crime.

Fairness would suggest we try this idea in a few test areas, no ?
Perhaps we could ban guns in a few big cities and see if the benefit out-weighs the rank violation of the constitution.
No, wait.
Perhaps these tests have already been run.
Perhaps the highly educated, very scientific leftists could take a moment to review the results of these test cases before pontificating any further.

there are more people killed in car accidents than guns. Should we ban all cars? Air travel isn´t guaranteed. Many have died from plane crashes. Should we ban all flight. People have stabbed people to death, should all knives be collected? People have strangled others, should all hands be amputated?

There are a lot of mentally ill people out there who vote for the liberal Democrats, so don´t look for any liberal Democrats to pin the blame for this latest mass murder situation on a mentally ill person, while directly firearms have no vote, so look for the liberal Democrats to seriously attempt a gun control overreach.
When the liberal Democrats did that the last time, a lot of them were voted out of office in several elections. You can look for that to happen again, if the liberal Democrats do not limit their gun control efforts to steps designed to keep mentally ill people from easily getting their hands on firearms.

Yes. They will exploit it- especially since so many people now, in the shadow of the school shooting, don´t give a hoot about the lies the President and Sec. of State told over the dead American Ambassador and others. Benghazi? What´s that? It´s guns that are the real problem- guns in the hands of the damn free Americans!

I´ve been thinking about this and horrific as it is I am left wondering how the usual suspects will respond to the first suicide bombing that occurs in the U.S.
Who would they demonize before are all the facts are known, would they blame an inanimate object for the slaughter. The handling of the Fort Hood terrorist may be a good indicator.
I firmly believe it will happen in our lifetime, I´m 54.

We need Breitbart to crusade for mandatory confined evaluation for certain mental illnesses. No more pill-pushing psychiatry. It always seems to be the seriously mentally ill people who go on these multiple murder sprees. Look at todays article from China. Another mentally ill person stabbed 20 people to death. Are we going to ban knives?

Did you know Big Sis, DHS, is working on classifying all combat experienced military returning home as having mental problems... so they do not qualify to keep a gun? True.

The latest reporting in the matter of Fox News Channel’s James Rosen indicates the Obama administration fought to keep the search warrant for Rosen’s private email account secret, arguing that the government might need to monitor the account for a lengthy period of time. Thank you, Ryan Lizza. And one more thing. Despite Eric Holder’s his protestations of ignorance regarding the Rosen matter, NBC reports that Holder himself authorized the warrant application. Hmmm. Does that mean he might not have been entirely forthcoming about the matter in his testimony

The FBI has arrested a San Antonio man on charges he lied to get into the United States and tried to get a sensitive Defense Department position. Wissam Allouche, 44, appeared for an initial hearing Friday afternoon, and shook his head when U.S. Magistrate Judge Henry Bemporad read the charges leveled in a federal indictment. The judge ordered him held pending a bail hearing and his arraignment Tuesday. “He allegedly tried to cover up his affiliation with Hezbollah,” said special agent Erik Vasys, spokesman for the FBI in San Antonio. “It is believed

A FREE press in a democracy demands a delicate balance. The First Amendment means the media must have the right to inquire without hindrance. The government has a legitimate interest in keeping some national security information secret. When these come into conflict, the balance often has been struck this way: The media are free to pursue secrets, but it is up to those in government to keep them. When the media come into possession of information that, if disclosed, could be damaging, the government can plead the case for secrecy — and the media generally are open to persuasion.

The brutal murder of an off-duty soldier by two Muslim activists continues to dominate the news in Great Britain. The scene was utterly bizarre: in broad daylight, in a busy section of London, the two Muslims apparently ran the soldier down with a car, within a block or two of his barracks, and then attacked him with knives and a meat cleaver. They attempted to behead him, apparently not quite successfully, as hundreds of passers-by looked on. No one stopped them–private ownership of firearms being illegal in the U.K.–but three random women

A day after insurers complained that Kathleen Sebelius and the Obama administration had pressured them to fund Enroll America, a House committee sent them a request for more information on the matter. The Energy and Commerce Committee had already begun looking into whether Sebelius had broken any laws by attempting to get donations from an industry that will be heavily regulated by her under ObamaCare, and now The Hill reports this new request as a widening of that probe (via Rare): House Republicans have widened their probe of Health and Human Services

President Obama delivered an address today at the National Defense University called “The Future of our Fight Against Terrorism.” Actually, part of the speech was about the past, including much self-congratulation and some shots at President Bush. This part of the speech is revisionist rubbish. As Max Boot explains: Obama said, for example, that after he came into office, “we unequivocally banned torture, affirmed our commitment to civilian courts, worked to align our policies with the rule of law, and expanded our consultations with Congress.” Umm, actually all of that happened in Bush’s second term.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

Haunted by scandal surrounding his sexually explicit online communications with women, the Democratic former congressman sought treatment for his compulsive behavior from mental health professionals at the Gabbard Center. According to its website, the facility provides “3-day outpatient psychiatric evaluation,” particularly to “professionals who are in personal or professional crises.” While Weiner did not disclose

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

There are several reasons that make that likely, and if it´s true, it throws new light on a lot of Obama´s oddities -- including his Royalty Bows, his Apology Tours, his Muslim Sellout, and the Benghazi Cover-Up. But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term?

He sent this memo to his staff today in connection with the federal investigation into an alleged leak to Fox News reporter James Rosen, a story that the Washington Post’s Ann E. For all those who wonder what it is about Ailes that endears his people to him — and that makes him such a good interviewee for any media reporter lucky enough to get an audience
