Boehner and Cantor versus
Augustus Barack I

Now the great Augustus, Barack Hussein Obama, announced to ABC News´ Barbara Walters that he´s "pretty confident" that Republicans will cave on taxes. Okay, so our jaunty Augustus didn´t use the word "cave," but he might as well have skipped the niceties and used the C-word. Why not rub it in? One doubts that the empurpled leader of the erstwhile American Republic would say on national TV "I´m pretty confident that Republicans would not hold middle class taxes hostage to trying to protect tax cuts for high-income individuals" unless he had a good read on his adversaries

It´s hard to argue with his assessment. I am reminded of Hitler´s quote: :Our enemies are worms; I saw them at Munich."

They´re not Obama´s opponents, the premise is false. Boehner made clear via detailed accounts in the NY Times that Obama won the election and it´s Republicans´ job to give him what he wants. Cantor is just as bad. At least the author suggests House members focus their energy on removing Boehner as Speaker.

They should cave. Give oblamer what he wants and just vote "present". Let him completely own a crashing economy. Maybe then the honey booboo crowd will pay attention.

Of course they will cave.

Obama wants to destroy the GOP and having internal fights within will accomplish part of it.

Already Conservative and TeaParty Repubs are being ousted from their committee seats.

Its the GOP way.
Too bad for us Conservatives out here in the nation.

One can´t help but wonder if Benedict Boehner isn´t the reason we lost in November. I doubt many republicans were impressed with the republican congress and thought we´d only get more of the same.

It seems to me that Obama is also holding the middle class hostage by his uncompromising stance. It takes two to tango bubba.

It brings to mind the word "fullofbs"

Where are his spending cuts? Has he ever streamlined the gubmt like he promised?

Something to consider: is it possible that Boehner knows Obama at least as well as we do, and is playing the "moderate" role for now because he knows that O will overplay his hand and thereby give him - Boehner - an excuse to walk away and pin the blame on O when we go over the so-called fiscal cliff?

Or am I just grasping at a straw?

I think all it takes is a vague statement of policy to the effect ´anyone who opposes me on my policies had well be prepared to have your private and public life exposed in all it´s imperfections…´ That might well be what happened to Roberts….and any number of others who might try to fight the empire.

Seems 0bama knows his puppy dog well.
´Cave´ boy Boneless will soon obediently roll over for a belly tickle and lick his owner´s hand.
Good puppy!

Yes, thus go the way of Tyrants. Arrogance, self assurance, disregard for opponents, jaunty dismissal of other points of view, a hatred for democratic process, and a secret, personal goal for all those around him. This is the same personality cult our non-citizen leader has. So with Augustus, Stalin, Hitler, Mussolini, Tojo- they and they alone are anointed by greater power- they and they alone understand the will of the Gods and only they have the endowment of history. They are above the law because their grand mission is so important- even above the very lives of their countrymen- they will sacrifice anyone and anything (except themselves) to the cause they alone understand.

Øbama´s legacy with Americans is only beginning!

It appears the Republican Party establishment and some conservative commentators have come up with another mistaken tactic to woo the low information and undecided voters. With the avalanche of scandals swirling around the Obama administration and the Democratic Party, the political message promoted by these politicians and pundits is that these scandals are the outcome of a government that has grown too large to control and should therefore be dramatically cut back.

The current abusive conduct by the IRS is breathtaking in its audacity. When you look at last Friday´s testimony Acting Commisioner Steven Miller there is a clear disconnect -- the doesn´t think anyone did anything illegal, unconstitutional, or even wrong. Apart from a stark posture of arrogance and negative body language, he represents a very large group of people we need to worry about. This guy is beyond zealotry -- he has gone straight to certainty that he is right, his actions are justified and he can´t be touched. He´s like Obama´s buddy Bill Ayers

After running an errand at the Courthouse, I decided to pop into the Barrister Bar and Bistro for a quick bite. The place was packed and Charlie, the maitre d´, shrugged his shoulders apologetically. "There´s a huge party here this afternoon, but I can seat you at the bar if you don´t mind." I didn´t mind and was happy to see that my favorite bartender, Joe, was at work, I pulled out USA Today and read until he was free: "After February 2010, the IRS didn´t approve a single Tea Party tax-exempt application until spring 2012

Lew asks Congress for debt increase,

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." Lew said that while President Obama is willing to discuss plans to reduce the nation´s deficit with Congress, those talks must be kept separate from any effort to raise the nation´s debt cap.

By all accounts, today´s college campuses grow more intolerant by the day. We move closer to the old Soviet Empire, where political dissidents risked the gulag for even joking about Marxism. In the U.S., however, the hate crimes concern anything that touches on race, ethnicity, gender differences, diversity, and sexuality (see here and here). Even an old-fashioned ethnic joke almost guarantees mandatory counseling. Skeptics need only look at the pervasiveness of campus speech codes, coerced sensitivity training, the mandatory injection of multicultural propaganda into courses, and other top-down censorship.

BALTIMORE — Trying to reset the agenda amid scandal in Washington, President Barack Obama turned his attention Friday to the economy and said lawmakers should spend every day resolute on how to help it grow and get people back to work. “Our focus cannot drift,” he said. After a week that put him on the defensive and consumed by a trio of political controversies, Obama left the turmoil behind on a short helicopter flight about 40 miles north to Baltimore. The city has had its share of tough times in its move from an industrial to service economy

Benghazi Narrative Shift

"We´ve seen rage and violence directed at American embassies over an awful Internet video that we had nothing do to with," said Hillary Clinton to the families of the four Americans killed at Benghazi and others gathered at a September 2012 memorial service. Her boss, President Barack Obama, had been reciting the same lie in one forum after another in the days following the September 11 attack on the American outpost in Benghazi. To give the lie credence, his Justice Department immured the producer of the video, a Coptic Christian named Nakoula Basseley Nakoula, in a West Texas prison.

Washington rumor has it that Obama wants to be U.N. Secretary General. There are several reasons that make that likely, and if it´s true, it throws new light on a lot of Obama´s oddities -- including his Royalty Bows, his Apology Tours, his Muslim Sellout, and the Benghazi Cover-Up. But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term?

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) have reversed their longstanding membership guidelines to allow homosexuals to join the organization. In an email to CNSNews.com, the BSA public affairs office said the vote on the resolution to “remove the restriction denying membership to youth on the basis of sexual orientation alone” was passed with 61.44 percent in favor and 38.56 percent opposed. “For 103 years, the Boy Scouts of America has been a part of the fabric of this nation, with a focus on working together to deliver the nation’s foremost youth program of character development and values-based leadership training,”

The Dots Already Lead To

Abuse Of Power: Any scandal investigation that expects a "Eureka!" moment, a White House e-mail, or Oval Office smoking gun will be misguided. In fact, the dots are already connected directly to the president. Barack Obama is not foolish enough to have a tape recording system hidden in his desk. And his administration staff are not careless enough to send one another incriminating e-mails. If the president was behind the IRS unlawfully harassing conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, we can be sure the communications were all sotto voce and in persona, like any good Chicago political operator.

A Washington state Democrat is accusing Republicans of “throwing American infrastructure … under the bus” after a bridge collapse there this week. The portion of Interstate 5 in Washington that runs over the Skagit River collapsed on Thursday after a truck hit an overhead support structure, but Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wash.) cited the incident in an interview as proof Republicans were blocking infrastructure investment to hurt President Obama politically. “Well, they have clearly spent the whole last five years trying to tear the president down, but they have done it by throwing the American infrastructure and
