A speaker at a protest against Michigan´s right-to-work legislation said that Republican governor Rick Snyder will "get no rest" from pro-union activists if Snyder signs the bill into law. "Just know one thing, Rick Snyder: You sign that bill, you won´t get no rest," said Rev. Charles Williams II at the Tuesday rally in Lansing, according to Michigan Capitol Confidential. "We´ll meet you on Geddes Road. We´ll be at your daughter´s soccer game. We´ll visit you at your church. We´ll be at your office." Snyder, who lives in a house on Geddes Road in Ann Arbor,

The majority of the nation is with you Gov. Snyder. Please stand up to these creeps. Every day they show the country what gutless bullies they really are.

I´m not going to read the article. Just the threat alone against his daughter is horrific. In a sane world the ´´activist´´ would be thrown in jail. I may be wrong, but I´m assuming the Rev.II is black. I would never have said that four years ago.

So get a restraining order - keep them outside any county the MI gov is in. Or maybe outside any state. Or nation, that sounds even better.

Looks like the Michigan State police have their work cut out for them.

Oh, they are part of the problem.

This is a "Man of the Cloth" which made this threat?

This is harassment. Any union thug that shows up to cause trouble should be thrown in jail. They should not be allowed to get away with this intimidation.

Sad thing is, these thugs mean it. They will harass the gov. My brother-in-law worked for his father-in-law in MN and didn´t want to join the union. He was beaten and had his truck shot at, he reported these incidents to the cops and they did nothing. He finally gave in and joined. They are a bunch of goons!

I was one of the AFP Tent "survivors" from Tuesday. We called and called for the police and/or Capitol Security and they never came before the union terrorists tore it down and destroyed much private property.

So I sure hope the State Police will do a better job protecting Governor Snyder and his family!!!

Why don´t we just call these people what they are - TERRORISTS!!!

In light of the awful, violent attacks on children today and everyday, any public insinuation of an act to disrupt or negatively affect the life of a child should be investigated by competent law enforcement.

Have the thugs that beat up the Fox News reporter in Lansing been arrested yet? The citizens of Michigan voted out a pinko commie Canadian born Dem governor in favor of Republican Governor Snyder. Governor Snyder should be just as tough with the union thugs as Reagan was with the air traffic controllers -- have no mercy and take no prisoners. The old "Rev." is an unholy poor excuse for a human being.

Read how Hitler went from 30 followers to supreme Chancellor in just 10 years. When the police forces turn their back on their duty, the rest of us are in DEEP trouble. The media really ought to challenge their dereliction of duty, but of course they are the root of the problem. If we don´t find a way to push ALL of this back, it won´t just be the US that falls, it will be the world that slides back into a new Dark Age. This unraveling of civilization can not be overstated.

There should be NO "gun free zones." If you are licensed to carry you should be able to carry anywhere.

Idiots on the left don´t get why people "cling to guns". It´s obvious now that if Obama invokes a government takeover, the cops are going to be on his side simply because they´re in a GD union.

The culture of left wing derangement is filtering down to the kids to the point where they can´t separate fantasy from reality.Even when cops are on the job, they get there a day late and a dollar short.

Schools all across this country have tolerated bullying and some kids internalize it and snap at some point.

Every one of these white kids that have snapped have liberal parents but we never hear a word about them or why their kids were so deranged. If the parents were gun rack rednecks,we´d never hear the end of the investigation.Just like this Elmo character. Is he in jail yet?

This is Obama´s America. Time for the 23 states trying to secede to join together & form our own America... based on the constitution & guided by Judeo-Christian values.

No unions, no minority or special interest labels, no illegals, no politically correctness, just a group of patriots, of all races, working together as a Free People.

People can have 90 days to identify with either The Obama Nation or The Freedom Nation.Once everyone is in their preferred nation, we can adopt Australian type immigration laws... no one who isn´t financially self sufficient or brings a special talent will be allowed in.

#23, I have heard that a .22 caliber bullet, shot from the correct distance, will bounce around inside someone´s scull, making their brain into hamburger. And CSI cannot get any forensic evidence from a .22 caliber, due to the fragmentation and compression of the bullet when it hits bone.

#28, I would further restrict anyone that wanted to be recognized and/or identified by their skin color from joining our Republic. That would restrict anyone from the KKK to the rabid, mad-dog new black panthers from becoming a citizen of our new nation.

I Googled it for you, #2. The Rev. Williams II is indeed black, born in Detroit, raised in Birmingham and has earned a glowing reputation with the left as an "activist." In the past he would have been described as an "agitator" but I´m sure that word is long gone from the PC dictionary. I had an uncle who was a member of the UAW and worked at a Buick plant in Flint back in the early 60s. It was made clear to him by the advice of his shop steward ( read:threatened) that he should change his mind about mounting a challenge to replace a longtime union official. He persisted , anyway. Suddenly, his children were being followed home from school and other places just so he knew that they could and would harm his family if he persisted. He immediately got his mind right. I can´t help but think about how this was WAY before they became the cornered rats that they are today.

First off, let´s watch the left wing governor of CT take all the guns away from his citizens. We´ll see how that goes. He is an absolute moron.

Regarding the article, union members are never prosecuted for destroying property, harassing anyone opposed to their union, attacking scabs, attacking any other person, even killing them. Never has a union member or union official held responsible for what they say or do. The police unions will not go after their "brothers" and who knows if the firemen will come if your home or business is on fire. All unions in the US are corrupt, and they have the Democratic Party in their pocket. We know the Democrats are all takers and not producers.

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg is spending millions to attack Sen. Kelly Ayotte for opposing gun-control legislation Bloomberg likes. Bloomberg says tougher gun laws will reduce gun homicides. Has he ever compared his city’s gun murder rate with New Hampshire’s? New York City’s gun homicide rate has fallen to 4 per 100,000, very good for a large American city. Boston’s rate is 6.2, Washington, D.C.’s 19, and New Orleans’ a stunning 62.1 (Snip) New Hampshire’s gun homicide rate was .53 percent last year.

Well here’s another scandal ready for the Obama administration. It was revealed today that the National Security Agency is currently collecting the telephone records of millions of US customers of Verizon. This top secret order was issued in April. The order, a copy of which has been obtained by the Guardian, requires Verizon on an "ongoing, daily basis" to give the NSA information on all telephone calls in its systems, both within the US and between the US and other countries. The document shows for the first time that under the Obama administration the communication records

I am proud of Sen. Kelly Ayotte for her courage in voting for legislation that would address the criminal misuse of firearms by prohibited persons. She could have taken the easy way out and voted for ineffective bills that sounded good to the media and anti-gun crowd, but which would not have addressed the root causes and which would not have prevented another Sandy Hook tragedy. Instead, she resisted severe political pressure and did the right thing, voting for measures that would actually help and voting against measures that just sounded good, but which would not help.

Like most states in the country, New Hampshire is having a difficult time answering the question about whether to expand Medicaid coverage. For the last decade, politicians of both parties have made no attempt to expand Medicaid coverage in the state. With the federal government dangling some initial money for the program, some are tempted, but unsure. Today, with so many unanswered questions, policymakers should avoid a rush to judgment and just say, "maybe."

Five months into his second term, allies and enemies are as confounded as ever about who President Obama really is. Is he the dyed-in-the-wool liberal that his biggest supporters and critics suggest? Or is he a pragmatic, even cynical, politician who cares more for his popularity than taking risks for his ideological goals or living up to his rhetoric? Even in the short period since his reelection, Obama has provided evidence to support conflicting interpretations. His efforts to pass immigration reform, the unsuccessful push for stricter gun controls and tax hikes on high earners buttress the case for Obama-as-ideologue.

For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism.
