Obama is puffing on a loaded cigar with Obamacare. Clearly he does not understand this country. If takers vote for what they can get, what will people do to save their lives.

As I tried--unsuccessfully--to convince my college graduate DIL, 0bamaCare is about insurance not health care. There is nothing to give even one patient even one minute of actual care.

Now the first question on your tax form will ask if you own a gun. If you do, your health care costs will quadruple. It is coming!

In other words, to state the result of Øbama care correctly, the whole purpose of the Øbama care law is to utterly destroy the greatest medical system the world had ever known.

ObamaCare will certainly ´improve´ the cost of health insurance by doubling it or even trippling it.

The clever, hellbent Dems created this albatross, shoved it through Congress, and hung it around their own necks. Maybe Bush made them do it.

Now we won´t need to read the Brit press to get the horror stories of a government controlled medical apparatus. We got our own such apparatus now, just being born, or still born.

Obamacare is an excuse to hire government workers ust like evry other gov´t program.Even though only a handful of states have signed up for it,they´ll still spend the same amount of money. Whatevers left over in allocations will be back doored to the states that did participate to bail them out of the medicaid hole they´re already in..

Obamacare will only bring misery the the common folk...it is a scam!

Congress has voted to nationalize healthcare and spend trillions of dollars with no indication of what the nation is getting for its money. Who makes this kind of deal? An individual spends more time evaluating a refrigerator purchase for $800 than has been given by any Congressman to spending trillions of dollars. And people vote to have these Congressman run every facet of their lives. God keep me off this boat.

In the last year or so I´ve noticed that my doctor spends a lot more time punching info into his computer than talking to me or examining me. How does one go about finding a concierge doctor? I need to start looking for one.

we should be able to pay for our medical care out of pocket in an open market buying insurance only to cover the extraordinary expenses. It´s nice that there are ´concierge doctors´ for that.

What´s bad is all the paying $15k/year and only getting an appointment with a ´nurse practitioner´ and waiting six months for that.

BTW: any question that does not affect my health care... say as relates to my cough or that rash I have... I just won´t answer. And that includes whether or not I go to Church, express myself verbally or own a gun.

Exactly #15. I don´t expect my auto insurance to pay for my oil changes and gas, and I wouldn´t want to pay for such a policy either. The common American view of health insurance is completely out of whack. We all need catastrophic insurance and pools for the high risks, and then we pick up the rest with health savings account. We´d all shop around and make it competitive. No bureaucracy, no loss of freedom, little overhead, no sweat.
