Congressman: State Dept
Hiding Benghazi Attack Survivors,
May Not Release Full
Investigative Report

Breitbart TV, by Staff

Original Article

Congressman Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) told Fox News´ Greta Van Susteren that he was not trying to "politicize" by the attack on the US consulate in Benghazi by pressuring the Administration to answer questions about the incident and survivors. Chaffetz has been asking the State Dept to produce witnesses and survivors of the Benghazi attack and has been left without a response. Susteren told Chaffetz that she "doesn´t have a lot of sympathy" to those who claim Republicans are politicizing the tragedy because the Administration refuses to answer "simple" questions and details about the attack.

So Congressman! How are you going to handle this? How about cutting off funding to the department till they agree to share the information?

Arrest Hillary, and her entire staff. That would be a good start.

WHERE are the General for that region, and the Admiral for that region, both of whom were relieved of duty a few days after the Benghazi attack?
I am sure both were also watching the attack in real time.

Congressman I suggest that you stop whining, grow a pair and do as #1 and #2 have instructed. That will get their attention.

The media is not covering this scandal and Republicans are wusses!

We should be encouraging Rep. Chaffetz as being one stepping out of the republican mush and articulating a problem that is being swept under Obama´s secret rug by the general presstitutes. Part three of Canada Free Press´ Benghazi series is explosive - explaining Obama´s foreign policy scheming to advance the Muslim Brotherhood.

I agree #2. Who is Shrillary to say she is not going to testify? Her arrogance is astounding. Why she has not already received a subpoena is beyond me. The GOP needs to compel her to testify or arrest her. Anything less by the GOP is dereliction of duty.

This could once again end up being a case of the GOP behaving weakly.

#6 I will call Chaffetz´ office and do just that. I think I see him correctly as one who IS genuinely sick of the Speaker not using the power they have. Boehner doesn´t even want to subpoena, wants to "invite" Shillary to testify and now puts up with State Dept. hiding witnesses. This is all Boehner. He has to go now.

You know darn good and well that the State Dept is not going to give a full, complete, and honest report on the terrorism attack.

CYA to the fullest.

Such cowards who call themselves leaders!
It has been 3 months! Where are the survivors? Do as other state and start arresting those that refuse to cooperate!

Reply 11 - Posted by: rc1776, 12/14/2012 4:49:19 PM     (No. 9065952)

Sasquatch and hillary are probably water boarding the survivors or reprograming their feral gummit indoctrination chip.
If that pair alone can not frighten the behezziers out of those unfortunates by their very presence then these may have to disappear too.

Hillary has her fingerprints all over this incident.

I have been staying off Lucianne; trying to get over the election.

However, I am going to issue a very big "Told You So."

I have been asking this since Sept 20, or so. "Survivors" are normally taken to the US Hospital in Germany (Landstuhl?) This group of appearant CIA folks has disappeared. Where are the wives/husbands, mothers/fathers? Why do we not see them on FOX.

Some really BIG TIME threats must have come from the WH.
Any ex-military understands it.

When it´s the liberal, cover-up is the norm! Especially with an incident worst than Water-gate!

#2. Be careful. They are more likely to be arresting you than Mrs. Clinton.

Look for the survivors in the same closet where the Liberals have squirreled away O´s birth certificate, college records, and travel documents from the 1980s, along with John Kerry´s "hat" and Joe Biden´s charitable contributions.

Not release the full report? No wonder she cancelled her testimony. She´s too busy white-washing the report.

New emails between Internal Revenue Service officials released Wednesday as part of congressional testimony give a better view of who knew of the screening of conservative tea party groups and the search terms being used, and when they knew it. The documents also show a bit of the process the IRS used in such situations, but do not answer the question at the heart of the controversy – who made the decision to search for such groups and why. The string of emails is from early June 2011, sparked by a request from Holly Paz,

WASHINGTON — As they watched President Obama lumber into controversy over mandating contraception coverage last winter, some White House staffers were banging their heads against the wall. The lawyers had done it again. Tensions between operatives and the lawyers hired to protect them from legal trouble are a constant in politics. But as President Obama’s beleaguered aides look for someone to blame in an escalating series of scandals, former political, communications, and policy officials complained to BuzzFeed that one culprit is a balance that has tilted too far toward the lawyer, allowing avoidable controversies to boil over.

With Anthony Weiner about to pop into the race for mayor, one of his Democratic rivals demanded yesterday that he pony up $350,000 for the cost of the election required to fill his hastily vacated congressional seat two years ago. Weiner resigned under pressure in June 2011 after it was disclosed he was tweeting lewd pictures of himself to women he’d met on the Internet. In the special election held that September to replace him, Republican Bob Turner pulled off a stunning upset victory over Democrat David Weprin. Taxpayers were stuck with the $350,000 election tab,

After a week of revelations about government spying on reporters and the Internal Revenue Service targeting conservatives, most voters feel “like the federal government has gotten out of control and is threatening the basic civil liberties of Americans.” At the same time, a new Fox News poll finds disapproval of President Obama’s job performance is above 50 percent for the first time in a year, his honesty rating is at a new low and half of voters already think he’s a lame-duck.

The New York Times editorial board has condemned the Obama administration for threatening press freedom in the wake of revelations that the Justice Dept. seized phone records belonging to Fox News reporter James Rosen. "With the decision to label a Fox News television reporter a possible ´co-conspirator´ in a criminal investigation of a news leak, the Obama administration has moved beyond protecting government secrets to threatening fundamental freedoms of the press to gather news," the board wrote in an editorial published on Wednesday. From the outset, Internal Revenue Service lawyers based in Washington, D.C., provided important guidance on the handling of tea-party groups’ applications for tax-exempt status, according to both IRS sources and the inspector general’s report released in mid May. Officials in the Technical Unit of the IRS’s Rulings and Agreements office played an integral role in determining how the targeted applications were treated, provided general guidelines to Cincinnati case workers, briefed other agency employees on the status of the special cases, and reviewed all those intrusive requests demanding “more information” from tea-party groups.

Former Rep. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

But it was only a brief sighting since she didn´t stay long at a House hearing to further probe her role in how some IRS workers came to target conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status. (Snip)She did make a short statement to declare her innocence, however. Lerner´s motivation was more transparent than much of what the IRS has done in connection with this controversy. When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.
