Geraldo: Female Senators
Legitimized Attacks On Susan
Rice By ‘Angry, Old, White Men’

Mediaite, by Noah Rothman

Original Article

Posted By:KarenJ1, 12/14/2012 12:12:32 PM

Geraldo Rivera told the hosts of Fox & Friends on Friday that U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice withdrawing her name from consideration to be the next Secretary of State was the “minimum price” the White House had to be for their bungling of the attack in Benghazi in September, and their subsequent contradictory explanations for that attack. He also said that Rice was no longer a viable candidate several weeks ago when moderate women like Sens. Kelly Ayotte (R-NH) and Susan Collins (R-ME) joined the “angry, old, white men” like Sens. John McCain (R-AZ)

Comments:
The moron Geraldo goes off the rails again! What an idiot he is. He is absolutely shameful.

Consider the less than stellar performances of the "alternatives" to date, I´ll stick with the angry old white guys.

Somene tell GHeraldo to investigate Rice´s behavior during African massacres... as she hugged dictators & brushed off millions of deaths as inconvenient politically.

This is why many Dems are much more vocal than GOPers on her.

Reply 6 - Posted by: L.A. Guy, 12/14/2012 12:39:22 PM     (No. 9065447)

I guess it has NOTHING to do with allowing herself to be a lying stooge about an Al Qaeda attack on US Soil on 9/11 that killed an Ambassador and three other Americans.

And there was nothing racist said about Republicans choosing a worthy African American to become the first black female Secretary of State. So the Dems can take that and shove it down their lying throats.

Her name was Rice.

Dear Fox, and in particular Fox advertisers.
There is a thing now called "the internet" which means I do not have to watch FOX. I do not go near FOX if Geraldo, Shep Smith or any of your other leftists are promoting themselves. Take note, or we will hurt you financially by simply getting our information from somewhere else.
Thanks.

Bad News Geraldo

I am not angry and am not white but Ms. Rice is a stupid lying propaganda artist, that this administration has way too many of.
She has not shown any competence in any position that she has had in the political areana.
She allowed herself to be used by Obama and the White House and would be little more than a doormat as the head of the State department.
She would also be in direct competetion for the departmental "Cesspool Award" with Mr. Holder and the Justice Department.

We have more than enough corrupt and incompetent people working in our government to continue to employ her.

Obama nominates Nuland for

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

America´s 100 million cable and satellite subscribers are forced to pay ever-higher bills for a growing number of channels they do not watch. The American people are being ripped off. Meanwhile, services such as iTunes and Netflix have led a revolution in how consumers purchase and experience music and video entertainment. They have upended entire industries to allow consumers to buy digital content where they want, when they want. Amid all this change, two entrenched interests — the cable television and video programming industries — have teamed up to use federal regulations to stack the deck against consumers.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama is a little uneasy with the way journalists have been dragged into the Justice Department’s aggressive pursuit of national security leak investigations. In fact, he has ordered Attorney General Eric Holder to conduct a 45-day review of the department’s guidelines on the issue. That bit of news was buried in the middle of the president’s hourlong speech today at National Defense University. “Journalists should not be at legal risk for doing their jobs,” President Obama said. “Our focus must be on those who break the law.” And then the news: “I have raised these issues with

Anthony Weiner’s nascent mayoral campaign is off to a rough start. Weiner made his candidacy for mayor of New York official in the wee hours of Wednesday morning, and since then there’s no indication that the process is going particularly well. The former rising star in the Democratic Party can’t shake the scandal that forced him to resign from Congress, and he may be throwing fuel on the fire. Asked this morning whether there was another shoe to drop in the sextweeting scandal that ousted him, Weiner admitted, Well, yeah.

White House press secretary Jay Carney could only explain his problems on Wednesday by telling reporters, "[T]here are a lot of you, and you´re good at your jobs and you´re smart." As easy as it might be for Carney to lob such insincere praise at former journalistic colleagues, such posterior osculations must be embarrassing for a White House so accustomed to having the press in its back pocket. Carney´s job has become more difficult in the past two weeks. Where his explanations were accepted at face value in the past, he is now met with deep skepticism. Suddenly, the

WASHINGTON – First she refused to testify. Now Lois Lerner, the IRS official at the center of the agency scandal, is refusing to resign, according to a top Republican senator. Sources confirmed to Fox News earlier Thursday that Lerner, the head of the IRS division that oversaw the unit targeting conservative groups, had been placed on administrative leave, with pay. But Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, claimed she was only put in that status after refusing to step down. He said the commissioner was in his right to demand her resignation, and said taxpayers

The public got its first look Thursday at Lois Lerner, who has gone from faceless IRS bureaucrat to the face that launched what feels like 1,000 congressional hearings and conspiracy theories. But it was only a brief sighting since she didn´t stay long at a House hearing to further probe her role in how some IRS workers came to target conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status. (Snip)She did make a short statement to declare her innocence, however. Lerner´s motivation was more transparent than much of what the IRS has done in connection with this controversy. When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”
