Cavuto Cuts Off Dem Rep

Any Cuts To Budget

Breitbart´s Big Journalism, by Larry O´Connor

Here´s a brilliant performance that you won´t see anywhere else on cable news, at least not involving a Democratic Congressperson. Neil Cavuto had Rep. Eddie Bernice Johnson to discuss the latest on the fiscal cliff negotiations. He became frustrated that the only solutions Johnson would discuss were tax increases in one form or another. (video below) “No, you told me things you’d do to raise taxes. That’s what you told me. Credits, allowances, that sort of stuff. That’s what you told me,” Cavuto said. “You’ve got to talk about revenue generation,” the congresswoman replied.

Comments:
Have your blood pressure meds handy for this one! This women exemplifies everything that is wrong with the Democrats. She is stunningly stupid. Cavuto is one of the best interviewers on TV. I despise those who criticize him for interruptions. He just won´t let them spin nonsense.

Cavuto is the best in the business. better than O´Reilly et al because he´s smart and unafraid yet civil

I saw this "interview". He asked her over and over again "what would you cut" since she said she was willing to cut spending. She would not answer. Cavuto is the best and I am sorry my cable does not have the FOX business station.

All we neeed to know is she´s all for cutting the GNP in order to buy votes.

The Democrats are deliciously vulnerable to derision for their patently delusional beliefs. Cavuto does it oh so well.

Drat! Unfortunate timing on my part! I happened to catch the very beginning of the interview yesterday, but as she simply dithered around and around with meaningless words which were going nowhere, I finally couldn’t take it anymore and I switched channels. Kudos to Cavuto for not tearing his hair out!

She was so dumb that her constituents had to be embarrassed by her..it was beyond belief, and I would have cut her off way before Cavuto did.

The vile beast told Cavuto to "shut up" at one point so she could continue spewing her idiotic rhetoric. She is pathetic and beneath contempt.

Why the apology?

Reply 10 - Posted by: rtwngprof, 12/14/2012 12:47:18 PM     (No. 9065472)

It´s because the Democrats have no intention of doing any meaningful spending cuts. Just like they did with Bush the Elder, they´ll get their tax increases and the promised cuts will never materialize. As always, they´ll pull the football away as Charlie Brown Boehner runs up to kick it.

The congresswoman should apologize for wasting Neil´s time.

Good for Cavuto! No apology necessary.

It is fairly plain to see that she was expectinng the usual softball questions with the media agreeing to everything and covering any mistakes.
Did she think the interview was on MSNBC or CNN? Did they tell her the interviewer was named Neil not Soladad or Andrea or Chrisie?

The propaganda media will begin whining in 3...2...1

This woman and family got great wealth due to an affirmative action no bid contract for the concession shops at the DFW airport worth millions every year.

These morons need to stick with MSNBC where their stupidity and obfuscating will be showcased and applauded. Cavuto isn´t going to put up with it.

Obama nominates Nuland for

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

America´s 100 million cable and satellite subscribers are forced to pay ever-higher bills for a growing number of channels they do not watch. The American people are being ripped off. Meanwhile, services such as iTunes and Netflix have led a revolution in how consumers purchase and experience music and video entertainment. They have upended entire industries to allow consumers to buy digital content where they want, when they want. Amid all this change, two entrenched interests — the cable television and video programming industries — have teamed up to use federal regulations to stack the deck against consumers.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama is a little uneasy with the way journalists have been dragged into the Justice Department’s aggressive pursuit of national security leak investigations. In fact, he has ordered Attorney General Eric Holder to conduct a 45-day review of the department’s guidelines on the issue. That bit of news was buried in the middle of the president’s hourlong speech today at National Defense University. “Journalists should not be at legal risk for doing their jobs,” President Obama said. “Our focus must be on those who break the law.” And then the news: “I have raised these issues with

Anthony Weiner’s nascent mayoral campaign is off to a rough start. Weiner made his candidacy for mayor of New York official in the wee hours of Wednesday morning, and since then there’s no indication that the process is going particularly well. The former rising star in the Democratic Party can’t shake the scandal that forced him to resign from Congress, and he may be throwing fuel on the fire. Asked this morning whether there was another shoe to drop in the sextweeting scandal that ousted him, Weiner admitted, Well, yeah.

White House press secretary Jay Carney could only explain his problems on Wednesday by telling reporters, "[T]here are a lot of you, and you´re good at your jobs and you´re smart." As easy as it might be for Carney to lob such insincere praise at former journalistic colleagues, such posterior osculations must be embarrassing for a White House so accustomed to having the press in its back pocket. Carney´s job has become more difficult in the past two weeks. Where his explanations were accepted at face value in the past, he is now met with deep skepticism. Suddenly, the

WASHINGTON – First she refused to testify. Now Lois Lerner, the IRS official at the center of the agency scandal, is refusing to resign, according to a top Republican senator. Sources confirmed to Fox News earlier Thursday that Lerner, the head of the IRS division that oversaw the unit targeting conservative groups, had been placed on administrative leave, with pay. But Sen. Charles Grassley, R-Iowa, claimed she was only put in that status after refusing to step down. He said the commissioner was in his right to demand her resignation, and said taxpayers

The public got its first look Thursday at Lois Lerner, who has gone from faceless IRS bureaucrat to the face that launched what feels like 1,000 congressional hearings and conspiracy theories. But it was only a brief sighting since she didn´t stay long at a House hearing to further probe her role in how some IRS workers came to target conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status. (Snip)She did make a short statement to declare her innocence, however. Lerner´s motivation was more transparent than much of what the IRS has done in connection with this controversy. When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

What´s so interesting about 60 tea partiers protesting the IRS in San Jose, California on Tuesday, May 21st? The fact that this bit of information was conveyed to the protesters by a Department of Homeland Security officer who was also in attendance. On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”

Is the worm turning against Barack Obama? After four-plus years of being given the benefit of the doubt by the bulk of the US media, the President now suddenly feels more vulnerable. Today both the New York Times and the Washington Post have run prominent and angry editorials and columns slamming the administration for its attempt to criminalise a Fox News reporter James Rosen for working a State Department source to obtain a story. The "Rosen Affair"--as it is now known--is poisoning the well in Washington at an alarming rate for Mr Obama, with an indignant White House press corps
