When a Neighborhood Watch guard shot Trayvon Martin in February 2012, a chorus of civil rights activists concluded that he had been killed because of his race. Michael Skolnick, the political director for hip-hop mogul Russell Simmons, spoke for the consensus in an article he titled, “White People You Will Never Look Suspicious.”(Snip)the term “white skin privilege” was first popularized in the 1970s by the SDS radicals of “Weatherman,” who were carrying on a terrorist war against “Amerikkka,” a spelling designed to stigmatize the United States as a nation of Klansmen.
Comments: And we know that the white Weathermen were lead by Friends of Obama Bill Ayers and his wife Bernardine Dohrn.
The foundation that gave us Barack Hussein Obama aka Barry Soetoro:
The inconvenient triumph of American tolerance presented an existential problem for civil rights activists, whom it threatened to put out of work. “White skin privilege” offered a solution. As the Southern Poverty Law Center explained: “white skin privilege is not something that white people necessarily do, create or enjoy on purpose,” but is rather an unavoidable consequence of the “transparent preference for whiteness that saturates our society.” In other words, even if white Americans were no longer racists, they were.
A parallel concept favored by progressives was ‘institutional racism.” This was the idea that even in the absence of actual racists, the values and standards of American institutions by their very nature discriminated against non-whites. These two sophistries made possible new battles and continued the life of campaigns that annually lured millions of dollars into the deep pockets of “anti-racist” organizations and movements, even as racists were no longer detectable in the institutions themselves.
Perfect! A man whose parents were Communist party followers, who spent the first 30 years of his life spewing and spreading the Communist ideology, particularly in my community via his best friend and protege, Huey Newton of the Black Panther Party and others, is now an expert on how fruitful the seeds he helped to plant have become...some of us fought with MLK,Jr, Whitney Young, Ben Hooks, and others called "Toms" by Newton, Angela Davis, Tommy Jacquette, Stokley Carmichael, and Ron Karanga (creator of Kwanza) while Horowitz and his ilk framed the radical Communist, race centric, and anti-American rhetoric they expounded...spare me!
One relevant statistic this article fails to highlight.. African American males between the ages of 18 and 39 are roughly 2% of the US population and commit 55% of all violent felonies. It is irrational and foolhardy not to look over your shoulder, clutch your purse or pass over as a potential passenger late in the evening or night, when confronted with a threatening situation involving a young black male. It is simple self preservation. Misusing this social phenomenon for political purposes is the real racism of today.
Read Horowitz´s book "Radical Son". He has many other books every one a treasure but this is a good start. He has been a fearless fighter for conservatism and for the rescue of our educational system from liberals. He speaks at any college that will have him and he is always subjected to harrassment. Do you think it does not require great courage to admit that your whole life before your epipheny was a mistake and a waste and then to spend the rest of your life working to try to undo the damage? Think of the courage of Whittaker Chambers, for instance, when he unmasked Alger Hiss and joined what Chambers believed to be the losing side. A poster has attacked one of my heros and I won´t let that go without answer.
Yes, David Horowitz drank the koolaid his parents fed him from birth, he was a "Red Diaper Baby" but when he grew up, he looked around, saw the truth and changed.
I was talking to a friend yesterday, and she said she had heard that blacks would be the majority of the population by 2030. I told her that blacks are about 12% of the population, they always have been less than 17% and Hispanics, including Mexicans, South Americans and others were about 25-30% plus Asians and mixed races would probably add up to more than Caucasians by then, but not just blacks.
She couldn´t believe that blacks made up so little of the population, she said, with all the Affirmative Action and publicity about equality, she thought they were roughly as many as "whites."
LUNENBURG, Mass. —Investigators say the mother of a Lunenburg teen whose home had racist graffiti sprayed on it last month is a "strong suspect" in the case. According to the search warrant, Isaac Phillip´s mother, Andrea Brazier, replied "OK" when an FBI agent said she was the one who spray painted graffiti on the house. Watch Report "Most of the leads we have followed up throughout the investigation have led back towards the house," said Lunenburg police Lt. Michael Luth. When asked if police considered Brazier a strong suspect, Luth responded, "I would." Court documents also claim Brazier made false statements and then asked
The fight for Christmas took a hit this week when politics bigfooted a troupe of adorable little ballet dancers performing “The Nutcracker.” MSNBC’s Chris Matthews is scheduled to interview President Obama on Thursday night at American University as part of the “Hardball College Tour.” MSNBC approached AU to host the chat, and officials jumped at the chance for a free, hour-long commercial for the university and its students. But the interview, announced Tuesday morning, abruptly kicked the Ballet Petite’s rehearsals of”The Nutcracker” out of AU’s Greenberg Theatre. That didn’t sit well with the ballet school’s staff, teachers and parents who
Well, it’s not like there’s any danger of this stuff crossing the porous border into the US… Tepojaco (Mexico) (AFP) – Mexican authorities scrambled Wednesday to find a truck containing “extremely dangerous” radioactive material used in medical treatment that was stolen by two gunmen two days ago, officials said. The white Volkswagen Worker truck was transporting a teletherapy device containing cobalt-60 when it was stolen Monday in the central Hidalgo state town of Tepojaco, near Mexico City, according to the International Atomic Energy Agency. (Snip)So they found the container, just not the incredibly dangerous material that was in it. The
A fourth student at the University of California Santa Barbara has come down with a strain of meningitis similar to the one that sickened eight Princeton University students in New Jersey, authorities said. The California students began getting sick about three weeks ago, according to a university statement. One student had to have both legs amputated, ABC News has learned. "He´s from my hometown. I hope he is doing well," said David Burkow, another student. "It´s just kind of scary because there is a constant fear." The California school has suspended social events, including sorority and fraternity parties, to avoid
With a ruling by a federal judge on Tuesday that Detroit is eligible to enter bankruptcy, the fate of the city’s art collection — one of the finest in the country — now moves front and center in the legal battle over the city’s future. But the judge, Steven W. Rhodes, questioned for the first time the push by some of the city’s largest creditors to sell paintings and sculpture from the Detroit Institute of Arts, a sale that could generate hundreds of millions of dollars or more. While he did not say specifically that the art should be spared,
WASHINGTON – The National Transportation Safety Board has removed the Association of Commuter Rail Employees as a participant in its investigation into the December 1 fatal derailment of the Metro-North passenger train in the Bronx that killed four people. Organizations designated as parties to investigations sign an agreement to abide by NTSB rules during an investigation, but on Tuesday, the chairman of the union, Anthony Bottalico, spoke to the media and discussed what he thought happened during the derailment and engineer William Rockefeller. “While we value the technical expertise that groups like ACRE can provide during the course of an investigation, it
A truck carrying potentially "extremely dangerous" radioactive material has been stolen in Mexico, the UN atomic watchdog said Wednesday. The International Atomic Energy Agency said the truck was carrying cobalt-60, used for radiotherapy treatment to combat cancer. An IAEA statement Wednesday said the truck was stolen Monday while taking the material to a radioactive waste storage center from the northern city of Tijuana. The IAEA said the heist occurred in Tepojaco, a town near Mexico City, and describes the load as `´extremely dangerous" if damaged or removed from its protective shielding. It said Mexican authorities are searching for the material. The statement provided
A veteran Washington adviser who has worked for four Presidents on both sides of the political aisle said that the stunning Government Accountability Report report that found President Barack Obama has not had a one-on-one meeting with Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius since the passage of Obamacare over three years ago is an indictment of the entire White House operation and shows that the Obama administration has bordered on "malfeasance." "I have no doubt the White House is right, that Secretary Sebelius was in several group meetings with the president about health care," Gergen caveated, "but the whole
President Barack Obama’s Facebook page on Saturday posted a message honoring the dead from Pearl Harbor—accompanied by a picture of Obama descending the stairs next to the Pearl Harbor Memorial. The picture barely fits the name of the Arizona Memorial so it can frame Obama in the foreground. The post´s statement reads: Today, with solemn pride and reverence, let us remember those who fought and died at Pearl Harbor, acknowledge everyone who carried their legacy forward, and reaffirm our commitment to upholding the ideals for which they served. President Obama The Obama Administration´s current shipbuilding plan shrinks the size of
Just how much do many Hollywood liberals hate conservatives? In an interview with Playboy, Ben Affleck said, "When I watch a guy [on film] I know is a big Republican, part of me thinks, I probably wouldn’t like this person if I met him": PLAYBOY: You developed a political profile campaigning for presidential candidates Al Gore, John Kerry and Barack Obama. How did that come about? AFFLECK: I grew up in a house with a mother who was a teacher and a Freedom Rider—very left-wing Democrats living in a heterogeneous working-class neighborhood. I picked up a lot of those values there, and I
MSNBC host Melissa Harris-Perry opened her program over the weekend with a commentary about the Affordable Care Act’s colloquial moniker: “Obamacare.” She said that the word was originally created as a “derogatory term,” designed by white men as a way to delegitimize President Barack Obama and his achievement. However, she said that the term will soon be synonymous with all of Obama’s accomplishments and she urged her audience to use the term with pride. “I want to talk today about a controversial word. It’s a word that has been with us for years, and like it or not, it’s indelibly
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu made a last minute decision not to participate in a memorial service for the late South African President Nelson Mandela, despite having notified the South African government that he would attend the event. The decision was made in light of the high transportation costs resulting from the short notice of the trip and the security required for the prime minister in Johannesburg. The Prime Minister’s Office found that the trip would have cost roughly 7 million shekels ($2.4 million) – 2.8 million shekels for chartering a private El Al plane and a further 3.2 million shekels for
President Obama, former president George W. Bush and their wives departed Washington Monday morning on Air Force One on their way to a memorial service in South Africa for Nelson Mandela. The president and first lady Michelle Obama are being accompanied by Mr. Bush, former first lady Laura Bush and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton on the flight to Johannesburg. A four-hour memorial service will be held on Tuesday for South Africa’s first black president. Mr. Mandela, the anti-apartheid revolutionary, died on Thursday at age 95. Former President Bill Clinton and daughter Chelsea are traveling separately to South Africa. Former President
President Obama will make remarks on Nelson Mandela´s legacy during a memorial service Tuesday for the late South African freedom fighter, officials said Monday. "We do expect President Obama to speak as part of the program," said Ben Rhodes, deputy national security adviser for strategic communications. The president and first lady Michelle Obama departed Monday for Johannesburg, where a Mandela memorial service will be held in a soccer stadium. Obama, who will also spend time with the Mandela family, is not scheduled to hold any bilateral meetings with foreign leaders while in South Africa, Rhodes said. Rhodes also said the
