More than a month remains until President Barack Obama’s corporate-financed second inaugural, but he is already yesterday’s news. There are political battles to be fought and budgets to pass (or not pass) and most likely wars to wage and natural disasters to endure before the country elects its next president. But all of this is a sideshow to the chatterers and scribblers who are busy currying favor with the liberal establishment. The real story, we learn from our newspapers and magazines and blogs and television specials, is whether the current secretary of state will run for president in 2016.

People are looking at Clinton in 2016,only because obama´s so bad and that´s within the dems.

Take the vote to topple the unions in Mich. This would never have happened without Obama getting elected and the 2010 backlash. The people being affected by this probably voted for Obama over 90% both times.Obama never supported the Wisconsin unions when that flap went on but unions still kneel and bow to his every wish.

Obama doesn´t want to admit there´s a fiscal cliff because that would send alarm bells off among his supporters who want more gifts from the government. The meager tax increase he wants is symbolic to make these people think Obama´s getting even for them. When the money disappears in the government black hole, they´ll wonder where their check got to.

I guess Hillary represents some sense of stability to these people, reflecting off the job Bubba did and they want to relive those years.I never dreamed there´d be a worse president than Clinton but of course I never saw obama coming.

If she loses the presidency or the nomination, she will sojourn on, in "no ways tarred" forever, running again and again, like a candidate I recall from years back, one Lars "America First" Daley. She will be Hillary! "America Last" Clinton.

Repeat of history.

Remember that she was a shoe-in for the 2008 nomination.

The simple fact is that there is money in sycophancy.

Kissing her ample behind now helps one secure a place (a PAID place, that is) on any future campaign. If she decides not to run, it´s a resume builder for a place on any other Democratic campaign ("I worked with Hillary").

These people promote themselves by promoting Hillary.

Hillary´s fan base must be blocking out the bad memories of how Obama beat her soundly in the 2008 primary races. Her campaign was managed by staffer Maggie Williams and others who had zero campaign experience at the national level.

My bet is that she wants to run her own foundation with minimum heavy lifting, just like Bill does. Most of all she wants to be a grandmother, based on what I´ve read.

This woman should be in jail. She has blood of four people in Benghazi on her hands. Also, someone should ask her where did she hide the 30 people that were rescued by the two CIA personnel that died.

Those who long for the prosperity of the Clinton years would do well to take notice of the fact that the bent one presided over a ´dot-com´ boom nicely laid over a real estate boom. Since then the golden goose of private prosperity has been demonized and regulated and taxed and it practitioners are rendering the kind of spirited competition and genius that occurs in in motor sports when the ´Safety Car´ remains on the track for the entire race. Entrepreneurs love a challenge but hate a ´fix´.

The dims dream of the old Clinton years, forgetting that he signed welfare reform and announced the end of big government. The dot.com revolution made him look like an economic genius and he was lucky to have few international events with which to deal. Since dims are unintelligible it´s hard to know what they miss--moderate politics? Sex with an intern? Serial sexual harassment? James Carville?

As long as Hillary has Bengahzi hanging over her head, so won´t be running. This is not going to go away. Obama and his Thugs think if they stall long enough we will get tired of asking. I think the longer they stall the more the Republicans in Congress will dig in their heels and keep the scandal alive. It´s a no winner for Hillary. If she testifies, they will nail her. If she doesn´t, they will crucify her!

Hardly anyone understands why Harold Stassen ran for president on so many occasions. First of all he never ran against an incumbent Republican. But most importantly, he was in an international business and being a presidential candidate gave him prestige overseas, even though many people laughed at him here. However, Stassen had the last laugh as his presidential campaigns made him tons of money.

THE BATHROOM IS LARGE, immaculate and low-lit, finished in rich wood, floor-to-ceiling mirrors and brushed metal. Wearing the thick bathrobe provided by an attendant, I walk from the shower to the wash basin. The heat radiates from the floor through my slippers. I have my own shaving gear with me but still browse through boxes and trays for accoutrements I might prefer. This is one of the nicest lavatories I´ve ever been in. It also happens to be 35,000 feet in the air. I´m aboard one of Emirates Airline´s double-decker Airbus A380s. According to the flight-progress map

It happens now and then. You hear a story so sad, so beautiful, so filled with loss and pain and grief and love, that it makes you cry. Really cry. Two years ago, I was making a grocery run for my family on Memorial Day when a story came on the local NPR station in Oxford, Miss. It was about a father whose son had been killed in action in northwest Afghanistan. The father was Paul Monti; his son was Sergeant Jared Monti. Jared died in Afghanistan trying to save the life of one of his men.

The recent attack on a British soldier by assassins wielding meat cleavers while bystanders looked on raises the question: “Why didn’t anyone try to help the victim?” Because British citizens are prohibited from carrying objects that could be used as “offensive weapons.” While it is well known that Brits cannot carry guns, a lesser known law prohibits any subject of the Queen from carrying a knife of consequence, pepper spray or a stun gun.According to the United Kingdom government website, the online storehouse of British government regulations, it is illegal to:

DALLAS—It hasn´t been the best of years for Big Tex, the 52-foot-tall animatronic cowboy who has greeted visitors to the State Fair of Texas for decades. His mechanical hand, which waved from side to side as he bellowed "Hoooowdy folks," stopped working before the fair opened last September. His 60th birthday celebration, which was to include one of the country´s biggest marching bands, was rained out. Then catastrophe struck three days before the fair ended last October. After a suspected electrical short inside his size 70 cowboy boots, Mr. Tex went up in a burst of flames that devoured

What would help a lot right now, as the chilling reality of savagery engulfs us, would be a cultural green light to begin calling evil what it is, to begin calling it by its name, to stop dancing around demographics because of the fear someone, somewhere will take offense. There is always someone, somewhere looking for a reason to be offended. Jesse Jackson has fashioned a lucrative career out of being perpetually peeved. It works if you know how to play the game. And one of the reasons it works is that too many people who ought to know better allow themselves

The White House on Friday didn’t respond to a report that Attorney General Eric Holder authorized the seizure a Fox News reporter’s phone and email records — and with no daily press briefing scheduled Friday that could mean silence from the administration through the Memorial Day weekend. NBC News reported Thursday that Holder approved the search of Fox News reporter James Rosen’s private emails and phone records in a probe of leaked government information. That revelation came just as the president ordered Holder to review Justice Department guidelines for investigating reporters. White House officials have not yet responded

Can Obama Declare Peace?

President Obama’s speech at the National Defense University calling for an end to the war on terror forces the question of who gets to declare peace. The Left wing in our political debate has been agitating for some time to repeal the authorization to use military force that the Congress passed after 9/11. The President boarded the bandwagon yesterday. He vowed he would sign no laws designed to expand the mandate and declared outright that he looks forward “to engaging Congress and the American people in efforts to refine, and ultimately repeal” the congressional mandate to use force.

Washington rumor has it that Obama wants to be U.N. Secretary General. There are several reasons that make that likely, and if it´s true, it throws new light on a lot of Obama´s oddities -- including his Royalty Bows, his Apology Tours, his Muslim Sellout, and the Benghazi Cover-Up. But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term?

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. Abuse Of Power: Any scandal investigation that expects a "Eureka!" moment, a White House e-mail, or Oval Office smoking gun will be misguided. In fact, the dots are already connected directly to the president. Barack Obama is not foolish enough to have a tape recording system hidden in his desk. And his administration staff are not careless enough to send one another incriminating e-mails. If the president was behind the IRS unlawfully harassing conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, we can be sure the communications were all sotto voce and in persona, like any good Chicago political operator.

The portion of Interstate 5 in Washington that runs over the Skagit River collapsed on Thursday after a truck hit an overhead support structure, but Rep.
