| In an interview with Fox News host Bill O´Reilly last year, President Obama claimed he "didn´t raise taxes once." O´Reilly didn´t challenge the claim, and other reporters repeated it as fact. But it was completely false. By the time he went on O´Reilly´s show, Obama had signed more than 20 tax hikes into law with a combined 10-year price tag of more than $500 billion. However, since most of these taxes targeted relatively small and unpopular groups — smokers, tanning salons, insurance companies, the rich — few seemed to notice.

In reality the MSM, the Propaganda Department of the Federal Government, turned a blind eye to the tax increases to aid in the re-election of their ´Masters´...

Thank you Mr Merline.
My friend in the tax business laughs everytime he hears the Won telling this lie.
My friend showed me the basic tax rates for the past five years side by side. Even a dummy like me can see tax rates have not been reduced. Maybe a dollar or two at most.
Meanwhile the give away programs, like Earned Income keep going up and up. Have 3 kids? Yeap, here is your $6,000 bonus.
When the tanning bed tax first hit, one Salon in a neighborhood shopping center put up a 4x4 ft sign blaming Obama.
He immediately got flack from the ones paying with EBT cards.

o´reilly has never really contradicted or attacked obama. He always finds either someone else to blame or puts it down to obscure occurrences. The dems must have some really good dirt on him. As for tax the rich? The rich have their money out of this country by now, legally shielded, and can afford to wait out the next four years and not buy/invest in anything. Or they can, as a historically large number of people have done since obama was elected, resign their citizenship and relocate to somewhere where they can make and keep most of their money. And the voters in this country are just that dumb they haven´t figured that out.

In Germany, in the 1930´s the middle and lower class was told that the country´s economic problems were the fault of the Jews. Now, Obama is is blaming the 2% instead.
Maybe if the government would follow the law and have a budget, it would be a start.
Also, why are we required to pay taxes if there is not a legally required budget?

Progressives are using Conservatives today like The Nazis used the Jews during WWII. Conservatives are to blame for EVERYTHING.
Everything that Progressives do is GOOD and should NEVER be questioned. Everything that Conservatives do is BAD and should ALWAYS be demonized.
Liberals claim to be compassionate. They are not. What is baked into their DNA is the hypocritical belief that their “ends” justify their “means”. They are happier when Conservatives are demonized rather than when the poor are helped.
Progressivism will collapse under its own weight so the sooner we can help it along, the quicker we can rebuild our Society.

Obama is a serial liar, lying unabashedly to citizens, to joint sessions of Congress, to the military, to anyone who will waste time listening. Just his massive lies over ObamaCare (lower premiums, reduce costs, improve care, not cover illegals, keep your doctor, not pay for abortions, doctors falsely removing limbs) should have subjected him to ridicule and possibly removal from office as delusional. Instead, he´s reelected to continue his lies. As with a previous deceiver, Richard Nixon, nothing good will come from Obama´s next four years.
As to O´Reilly, we stopped watching him 2 years ago due to his lack of research and his preference for bluster over informed argument. Plus, putting on blatant leftist propagandist like Alan Colmes, Juan Williams and the affirmative action beneficiary from Columbia is tedious at best.

O´Reilly is so easily mislead by his guests that it does make you wonder. His main goal seems to be appearing "reasonable", which entails letting libs lie thru their teeth on his show. And let´s not forget his getting audited for three years in a row when he dared ask why Jesse Jackson was allowed to file a tax return with millions claimed as uncataloged "expenses"! He learned not to poke that hornet´s nest again.

People are stupid. It´s my mantra now.
I Tivo O´Reilly. His opening statements are usually concise. When he gets full of himself and drones on and on with Juan or Alan, then I just...ZIP PAST!
It´s great. Sometime o´reilly will jump on things that no one else will touch. Then again he will get full of himself and talk over everyone else. ZIP!
Then comes my absolute favorite: Miller! SLOW DOWN. BACK UP. YAY.

You´ve got it, #4! The Jews weren´t slaughter for ethnic diversity so much as the fact that they controlled the finances of Germany and would not support Hitler´s upcoming war efforts.
Same today, only it´s going to be Christians. There will be a time of trouble such as never was. God´s word is coming to pass! Jer 30, Dan 12, and Matt 24. Repeated over and over in God´s word.

I have come to the conclusion that Bill O´Reilly is the spin meister...what he doesn´t say, challenge or bring up is the most sinister type of spin. This story is a perfect example...he panders to many so they will like him and come back to his show...inother words he´s a Lib in Sheeple clothing. I never watch his show anymore, the transparency of his hypocricy is sickening.

President Obama vastly exaggerated the spending cuts and deficit reduction his budget plan would produce, while dramatically undercounting the level of tax hikes, according to a Congressional Budget Office analysis of his budget released Friday. When Obama put out his budget in mid-April he said that it "will reduce our deficits by nearly another $2 trillion," and "does so in a balanced and responsible way, a way that most Americans prefer." But the CBO report finds that Obama´s budget will cut 10-year deficits by just $1.1 trillion, with annual deficits starting to rise again after 2017.

Like everything else the IRS has said about the tax scandal, its explanation for why it ended up targeting conservative groups turns out to be completely false. Which raises the question: Why are IRS officials trying so desperately to hide what really went on? Ever since the tax scandal broke, top IRS officials have insisted that the reason it started singling out conservative groups for extra review was because the agency was getting a flood of tax-exempt applications. In an op-ed for USA Today, for example, Steven Miller

President Obama went to Texas on Thursday to kick off a nationwide tour pushing his economic policies, apparently unaware that Texas has thrived the past four years by doing pretty much the opposite of what Obama has prescribed. Since taking office, Obama has pushed more government as the way to get the economy moving. He dramatically boosted spending, imposed massive amounts of new regulations, ran enormous deficits, and has imposed more than $1 trillion in tax hikes.

Health Costs: Americans were promised that ObamaCare would make their health care more affordable. But a pair of studies show the new system has done nothing to lower health costs and will sharply raise them. Between 2009 and 2011, U.S. health spending rose just 3.9% a year, the lowest annual gains in decades. The Obama administration was quick to claim credit for the slowdown, with Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius saying ObamaCare had "contributed to the slowest sustained growth in health spending in 50 years."

Medical Overhaul: Democrats fret about a "train wreck" when ObamaCare goes into effect next year. But the law is already a disaster for workers who´ve seen their hours and benefits cut as employers try to avoid its costs. As IBD´s Jed Graham reported late last week, government data clearly show that businesses are already cutting worker hours and benefits in advance of ObamaCare´s employer mandate, under which every business with 50 or more full-time workers will have to provide government-approved insurance.

Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius has been complaining a lot about money lately. Specifically, about how she doesn´t have enough to implement ObamaCare. [snip] The implication is that this is mainly the GOP´s fault — they are starving ObamaCare for money when it needs it most. The press has started to pick up on this talking point. Ezra Klein, who writes extensively on health care for the Washington Post, said Republicans are purposefully trying to derail ObamaCare´s launch.

The nation´s disability rolls continued to climb sharply, as 76,983 workers enrolled in the Social Security Disability Insurance program in April, according to new data from the Social Security Administration. Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, whose career in public life came to an abrupt end when he sent lewd pictures to a college student on Twitter, jumped back into politics on Wednesday by announcing a bid for mayor of New York City. “Look, I’ve made some big mistakes and I know I’ve let a lot of people down,” the Democrat said in a 2-minute video announcing his bid. “But I’ve also learned some tough lessons. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.

There’s really no reason for the press to suggest that the recent slew of scandals involving the Obama administration — Benghazi, the AP phone-record seizure, the snooping in James Rosen’s e-mail, the IRS’s targeting of conservative groups, and so on — are a confusing jumble. There is a very clear thread running through all of the administration’s actions: The U.S. deputy chief of mission in Libya, Gregory Hicks, says that he was told not to speak to a member of Congress about Benghazi without a State Department lawyer present, that he received a phone call from Hillary Clinton’s
