He´s a punk thug like his father. Apple and tree distance, etc.. I am positive that the MSM will allow this fine couple to "put this behind them" by eliminating any reference to it in any coverage.

Moran´s a criminal just like his son.

Well, Moran said his son was sorry and embarrassed by the voter fraud thing (and in the local interview, practically tousled his hair and punched him affectionately on the chin). And the congressman said that the son and the girlfriend are both "good kids" so I guess there´s nothing to see.

Moran is my congressman. I expect sympathy from L-Dotters. If he´s not the worst of all of them, he´s in the top (bottom) 10.

Strange that none of these articles mentions that this knuckle-dragging, mouth-breathing troglodyte was 6´5" and 290 when he was Yale´s Defensive Lineman of the Year. Recent pictures don´t indicate that he´s lost any of that height or weight since those days.
Every time one of my fellow prior-service Leathernecks breaks the law, journalists always cry, "Ex-Marine!" this or that.
Don´t get me wrong - no man, regardless of size, should ever raise his hand to a woman.
(Unless, of course, the woman in question happens to be Jane Fonda.)

"I hope their privacy will be respected," Congressman Moran told the paper. "They look forward to putting this embarrassing situation behind them."

"Embarrassing" is coming out of the men´s room with your zipper at half-mast. Breaking someone´s eye-socket and nose is outside the "embarrassment" Venn Diagram Circle. Sorry.

And if you want privacy, don´t do what these mutts, pere and fils, have done. Criminal behavior forfeits privacy.

Let´s take a long, close look at his history when deciding the sentence, ´K, Judgie?

And, Rep. Moran? Nice job rearing the kid. Nice job.

Nice - voter fraud AND woman-beating. Two of the few things I consider lower than whale-dung.

And, I don´t have a whole helluva lot of sympathy for the kind of stupid voter who elects Jim Moran, or the kind of stupid woman who elects to be with his son, but I suppose I wish better for them both.

And what is it with some ladies? I find it hard enough to believe when they go with a powerful bad-guy, but I kind of understand the attraction from a biological standpoint, at least.

But the idiot wastrel son of a powerful man? C´mon, really girls? Y´all can do better than that... this kid is like the character Bernard from "Things to Do in Denver When You´re Dead."

And it sounds like she caught an orbital fracture - that´s a major league swing Junior took, there. He oughta be in jail. Whaddya figure that´ll happen, boys and girls?

A cracked scull should warrant assault charges. Where are all the NOW hags telling us what a terrible thing it is to excuse violence against women as an "embarrassing incident?"

But I´ll say that Dana Perino is right. This woman´s judgment is bad if she chooses to be with anyone related to Jim Moran or who calls himself a Democrat.

#17 -- thanks. I moved here 20+ years ago, when northern VA was still sane. We even had a Republican congressman. Now I´m invested here (job, condo...) but moving away is getting more and more appealing.

Bunkersville, Nevada — Cliven Bundy’s ranch, recently the site of a tense stand-off that started over two weeks ago between the federal government and the Bundy family, had morphed into a good old-fashioned family picnic complete with live country music, hamburgers, and hotdogs Friday. A week after the Bureau of Land Management’s armed force left Bunkersville, Bundy and his supporters continue to make the family’s case relating to Bundy’s right to graze his cattle on public land his family has been on for many years. Bundy told Breitbart News the only communication he has received from the BLM recently has been

Two Democratic Party candidates in the primary race for California´s 33rd congressional district in West Los Angeles have accused local party officials of using an arbitrary fundraising minimum to favor established insiders--then raising that minimum at the last moment to exclude them from a recent candidates´ forum. President Obama addressed the White House press corps today, announcing that with the final numbers in, Obamacare´s exchanges have attracted eight million sign-ups -- 35 percent of whom are "under the age of 35," he said. Several elements of his comments were misleading: (1) At first blush, the 35 percent stat is both significant and impressive. As recently as last month, the share of "young invincibles" signing up for plans was struggling in the 25 percent range, far short of the actuarial target of nearly 40 percent. A leap into the mid-30´s, while still shy of the goal, would constitute a major step, and would bode well for the risk pools'

The Wall Street Journal reports that a red fox has been causing chaos around the White House, tripping security alarms, digging up Michelle’s garden and distracting the president from his duties. The Secret Service won’t give any details about how often the fox trips the White House’s obviously sophisticated security alarms, but rest assured, officials say, they’re watching. President Obama was apparently “stunned” to see the fox roaming freely down the oft-photographed White House colonnade, home to the world’s shortest, but most dramatic, outdoor strolls.
