| The next generation of the Bush family will arrive in 2013. TODAY correspondent Jenna Bush Hager is pregnant with her first child! Bush Hager announced on TODAY Wednesday that she and husband Henry Hager will become parents next year, four years after tying the knot. Jenna, who got married in May of 2008 at the Bush ranch in Crawford, Texas, has said her parents are eager for her to start a family. Until recently, however, her parenting plans were limited to pets."I´m fired up," her dad, former president Bush, said on a phone call to the show.

While I don´t like Matt Lauer, the fact that President Bush & his lovely wife Laura were on the phone, it was nice to feel the warmth and love of a close family. Watch and listen to the video.

I am about ready to take a pass on the entire Bush family. Going on NBC is a big factor. GW is becomming like a dog that licks his master´s hand even though the master has spent the entire dog´s life beating him.
Add to that, putting his library at SMU, the most overrated college in America, even after practically the entire faculty signed petitions against it being placed there demonstrating their utter hatred of Bush. He could have put it at Baylor where they would have rolled out the red carpet for him but no, put it at the snotass SMU.
He still licks the hand. Slow learner.

#2, "almost the entire faculty" did not sign the petition. It was a comparatively small group. George W. has been headquartered in the Dallas area for years. SMU is Laura´s Alma Mater.

How wonderful for President and Mrs. Bush to have their first grandchild. Jenny and Henry will be great parents. She really reminds me of the sweetness of Laura Bush in her mannerisms.

Poster 3 is right. We live a few miles from SMU and most people laughed it off as a bunch of old hippies trying to recreated their glory days. SMU is a great place in a beautiful and conservative part of Dallas (University/Highland Park). Plus the Bushes do not live that far from it and it is not all that bad a university.

I didn´t watch the video but I read some of the conversation. It is evident this family just loves each other and that they have a great sense of humor. They laugh at themselves and tease each other and it´s all very easy and fun. I´m happy for them.

We have family roots in the SMU area. Yes, unfortunately, more than a few liberals at this university now. In Laura Bush´s day, SMU was where young ladies like my aunt went to find good husbands. Everybody in Highland Park knew the Library would be welcomed at SMU. I am so delighted for the President. I know it´s icky to watch them on this disgusting network but, it is what it is. The Bushes LIKE NBC. I thought the video was adorable. Henry and Jenna looked thrilled. I can´t help but be glad Jenna´s coworkers showed their warm feelings for her this morning.

It is understood that a contingency plan is in place for the unlikely event that an attempt would be made on the President’s life. The Secret Service also have diplomatic immunity which will allow them to shoot to kill a would-be assassin without fear of prosecution. As part of the “evacuation route” plan, they would be able to spirit the President by chopper to one of the carriers where a jet is on standby to take him back to the United States.
