Michele Bachmann says Obama

Representative Michele Bachmann, who briefly led the 2012 Republican presidential field, has said that Barack Obama is determined ´to lift up the Islamists´ and bow to their ´ultimate demand´ of imposing Sharia law on America. She said that Americans should study Islamist texts just as those worried about fascism pored over Adolf Hitler´s ´Mein Kampf´ in the 1930s and 1940s. In an extended on-air conversation with conservative radio hosts Jan Markell and Eric Barger, Bachmann, who narrowly won re-election to the House of Representatives last month, contended that Obama was endangering

Those worried about fascism would have studied Mussolini, not Hitler. One could also study FDR, a fan of fascism.

I have never studied Islam; HOWEVER, I HAVE STUDIED THE HISTORY OF ISLAM. Mrs. Bachmann makes very valid point. Keep your eyes open.

The congresswoman is correct. Chillingly so.
My ninth-grader came home last week with a paper dedicated to the worldwide accomplishments of "Arabs".
Among them: advanced mathematics, medicine, agriculture, and all of our petroleum products.
Yes indeed. Where would we be without the Arab contributions.
Never mind that none of it was true.
Fortunately, my son understands their contributions include the oppression of women and the destruction of the infidel.
And we noted that not one "Arab" was named...there were no dates or specifics at all. Even the regions weren´t named...they were called "Southwest Asia" and "North Africa". I told my son the most recent contribution of "North Africa" included the death of four Americans.

The kids were just supposed to swallow what the school gave them and write an essay agreeing with it.
The paper was thrown away and he took an incomplete.
It´s also worth noting that this propaganda isn´t found in my high schooler´s curriculum. The Sec. of Education is too sly to start this in higher grades.
Don´t forget...they have the long-view. Parents need to pay attention.

#6 The Arab culture does have to it´s credit some historical contributions...ARABS....not ISLAM and that is the key difference. And, it would be nice to have some names, but I think that because of the Islamic oppression, much of the recorded history of a lot of that has probably been destroyed along with artifacts and historical sites that Islamic fascists have totally erased from existence. So anything contributed by the Islamic world is basically lost forever....and they let it happen.

Imagine an Islamic regime in the west and how much artifact, recorded history, buildings all of it, would be destroyed in the name of Allah. Imagine what would happen to the original documents of the Declaration of Independence and The Constitution, not just what they represent to Americans, but their incredible historical value.

Makes me physically ill with what they will do if we let them get a foothold here.

It truly is time to recognize Obama for what he is; a Marxist/Islamist that is systematicly reducing this country to a third-world state! I believe in deeds and not words. Obama´s deeds verify everything Ms Bachman says!

Sadly Bachmann knows what she is talking about and we all should be very afraid. Islam is doo doo. Islam is an ignorant and blood thirsty barbaric virus. Islam should be recognized as the threat it is to the planet and eliminated. It definitely should not be allowed to take root in America. The Democrat Party and all those that voted to re-elect Obama, I hope, will be the first ones to suffer from their stupidity.

You´re absolutely right, #11. Agriculture began with civilization in the Fertile Crescent which is now Iraq (but there was no Arabs during that time, and Islam is only 1400 years old).

There is a distinction between Arab and Islam (though I think now that is up for argument), but the paper I refer to made a point of making no specifics or distinctions.
For example: the West has all our petroleum products thanks to the Arabs without saying how, when or why...and Arabs invented advanced trigonometry but gave no names or dates.
It was propaganda pure and simple.
My concern now is what is coming down the pike. I haven´t seen this blatant a display of indoctrination since I´ve been sending my kids to public school...and this is in a very conservative state. There was no mistaking the intent of the paper.
I´m finding it more difficult to explain the differences in religion, culture and government to my kids when the lines are purposefully blurred all around them.

Michelle Bachmann is courageous for pointing out the insidious nature of Obama´s support of Islam. But she will be ridiculed, because our kids are already being indoctrinated to see the whole Arab culture (Islam) as beneficial or at the least, benign.

What a fantastic talent liberals possess, the ability to talk out of both sides of their mouths. One side utters platitudes about campaign finance reform and the nefarious influence of money in politics, while the other whispers in the ears of oligarchs and plutocrats. One side slanders Republicans as the tools of corporate interests, while the other solicits donations from some of the largest corporations in the world. The next journalist to examine influence peddling on K Street need only walk two blocks south, to H Street.

President Obama and Vice President Joe Biden met with three illegal immigrants who have been granted deferred action legal status in the Oval Office Tuesday. Meanwhile, Obama still refuses to meet with any border security enforcement officers about any aspect of immigration reform. “From Justino Mora, Angie Kim and Mehdi Mahraoui, to Diana Colin and Kevin Lee,” a White House blog entry reads, “all of the stories they shared were full of hope and optimism that one day their family members and their broader communities could realize the dream of becoming citizens of a country that

Tactics for dealing with the government´s budget and debt became the latest quarrel In a string of them between McCain -sometimes joined by other traditionalist Republicans -and tea party champions such as Ted Cruz of Texas, Rand Paul of Kentucky, Mike Lee of Utah and Marco Rubio of Florida. Washington - President Obama, seemingly preoccupied, forgot one piece of protocol as he boarded Marine One on his way to Annapolis Friday. Obama walked past the Marine at the bottom of the helicopter´s stairs and didn´t give the traditional salute. Realizing his mistake upon entering Marine One the president pivoted in the doorway, jogged back down, shook hands and spoke briefly with the Marine before boarding the helicopter for a second time.

Key Democrats say Internal Revenue Service official Lois Lerner didn´t give up her Fifth Amendment rights against self-incrimination by giving an opening statement at a House hearing on Wednesday. Democrats on the Oversight panel said they want Lerner to testify about the IRS’s targeting of conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, and are not defending her decision to invoke the Fifth Amendment. But Lerner’s Constitutional rights are clear, the Democrats argue, and committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) will be wasting the panel’s time and resources waging a losing battle against her attorneys while the FBI conducts

The public got its first look Thursday at Lois Lerner, who has gone from faceless IRS bureaucrat to the face that launched what feels like 1,000 congressional hearings and conspiracy theories. But it was only a brief sighting since she didn´t stay long at a House hearing to further probe her role in how some IRS workers came to target conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status. (Snip)She did make a short statement to declare her innocence, however. Lerner´s motivation was more transparent than much of what the IRS has done in connection with this controversy. When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”
