She has become a hit on the Today Show with her warm on-air presence, but Jenna Bush Hager will be taking time off from the small screen to have her first child, MailOnline can reveal. The daughter of former President George W Bush is expecting a baby with her husband Henry Hager - and debuted her bump on the NBC show on Tuesday morning. The pretty blonde, 31, looked blooming as she showed off her fuller figure as she joined her twin sister Barbara at the UNICEF Snowflake ball in Manhattan last month.

Hit...warm presence...pretty...

Since this article was about a member of the Bush family I knew it had to be a foreign newspaper without looking.

Best wishes for a healthy pregnancy and baby.

What an odd family. She did not get govt subsidized contraceptives, actually got married, to a man no less, and the parents will raise the child through their own means.

So retro.

#13, the older you get you wish for grand babies before you are too decrepit to enjoy them. It will be a joyful event and the baby will be loved dearly - lucky little one.

Congratulations to the happy couple and to the former first couple. I miss them.

However, I think they chose some pretty bad pictures of Jenna Bush. She´s a beautiful woman and she doesn´t look that great in the photos accompanying this article.

Don´t take the baby for granted, though. Carrying to term and delivering a healthy baby are always the hope, but never a sure thing until they´re in the proverbial rearview mirror.

Never hear anything positive or just ANYTHING about the Bushes or Romneys. I would love to hear about both families. The toadies MSM block all good news about Repubs and/or conservs. Thank goodness, we have the British papers. O´Reilly has started calling out "hate" speech and it mostly comes from the left. Wish he had been doing that when the lunatic left attacked Sarah Palin. Those will go down in history as the most undeserved orchestrated long-lasting attacks ever on a public figure. Even now, many unbiased folks believe some of the lies and do not like her. She is very courageous and I believe one day will be an important person, if there is any justice!

A man was charged with attempted murder and aggravated battery in a Friday shooting that left a 40-year-old man in the Brainerd neighborhood with six gunshot wounds. Deontae C. Jones, 18, was held on $1 million bail after appearing in Cook County bond court Sunday afternoon. Prosecutors said Jones approached a man who was outside his residence on the 9300 block of S. May St., checking to see if his recycling bin was full when Jones approached the man and fired at him. The victim began running away and fell to the ground, said Cook County Assistant State’s Attorney Naheda

The first family attended Easter services Sunday at the Nineteenth Street Baptist Church, a Northwest Washington congregation that welcomed the Obamas on the eve of the president’s first inauguration. The Obamas’ motorcade left the White House shortly before 10 a.m. (Snip) The motorcade pulled up to the church, about four miles away, just after 10. The first family arrived through a tented entrance and sat in the second pew in a mostly, but not completely filled church, joining an estimated 250 others. The president wore a light khaki suit. The first lady was wearing a cream dress and sweater. Daughters

CLEARWATER — In the mid-1970s, Wayne Phillips saw a television program telling the story of the Shroud of Turin, a centuries-old linen cloth that bears the image of a crucified man. At first, he was miffed. Years of Catholic schooling — Jesuit High School in Tampa and Notre Dame University — and he had never known about this artifact? (He would later learn that it was a delicate subject at the Vatican.) A doctor, he has a curious mind. A mind shaped by logic and by science. But as a Catholic, he understands some beliefs are still a mystery. He

WASHINGTON — IT’S weird to be jealous of your car. But I am. Men look at my car with such naked lust, their eyes devouring the curves and chrome, that I often feel as though I’m intruding on an intimate moment. Women like it, too. They sometimes grin and give it a thumbs up as it growls by, and one girlfriend fondly refers to it as “the Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Goddess car.” But the icon evokes a special feeling in men. It’s the Proustian madeleine of cars, stirring old dreams and new. Guys sometimes follow in the American beauty’s

California Unemployment Holds

California’s unemployment rate is rotten and holding steady. In March, according to the Los Angeles Times, the rate was 8.1%. In February, it was exactly the same. The Bureau of Labor Statistics reported that the state only added 11,800 net new jobs in March, many of them in construction, government, education, and health services. The greatest gains were in professional and business services, with 3,100 new positions. But the jobs numbers in hospitality, manufacturing, and leisure dipped, and the biggest drop came in financial activities, as the slowing rate of mortgages forced banks to fire employees. For Hillary Clinton, having her own baby grandchild to kiss on the campaign trail, could be one of the biggest boosts to her possible presidential election campaign. Although the former Secretary of State and First Lady has not said if she will run in 2016, the arrival of her first grandchild will soften her image, analysts have said. While Chelsea only revealed her pregnancy on Thursday, supporters of her mother have already started cooing over a possible baby in the White House. With the Clintons having a near-royal status in the U.S., the announcement of a new arrival due this fall has sent

That was quite a victory dance President Obama did Thursday while claiming Obamacare is “working” because eight million people have now supposedly signed up for the health care program. He even indulged in some less-than-subtle mockery of Republicans - and by extension the majority of Americans who have disapproved of Obamacare since before it became law. "The repeal debate is and should be over,” Obama said, taking a dig at Republicans who are “going through, you know, the stages of grief … anger and denial and all that stuff …” But a president who is viewed by most Americans as less

GREENSBORO, Ga. — Golf holes the size of pizzas. Soccer balls on the back nine. A mulligan on every hole. These are some of the measures — some would say gimmicks — that golf courses across the country have experimented with to stop people from quitting the game. Golf has always reveled in its standards and rich tradition. But increasingly a victim of its own image and hidebound ways, golf has lost five million players in the last decade, according to the National Golf Foundation, with 20 percent of the existing 25 million golfers apt to quit in the next few years. People under 35 have especially spurned the game, saying it takes too

Hi, everybody. For millions of Americans, this time of year holds great meaning. Earlier this week, we hosted a Passover Seder at the White House, and joined Jewish families around the world in their re-tellings of the story of the Exodus and the victory of faith over oppression. And this Sunday, Michelle, Malia, Sasha, and I will join our fellow Christians around the world in celebrating the Resurrection of Christ, the salvation he offered the world, and the hope that comes with the Easter season. These holy days have their roots in miracles that took place long ago. And yet, they still inspire us, guide us, and strengthen us today. They remind us of our

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Thursday that a family of dissident ranchers and their supporters in his home state of Nevada are ´domestic terrorists,´ citing this week´s standoff with the federal government´s Bureau of Land Management. Cliven Bundy has refused to pay grazing fees for land where his hundreds of cattle roam every day. The land is owned by the federal government, which says he owes more than $1 million. Bundy, however, insists that since his family has been using the land since the 1870s, Uncle Sam can´t collect the grazing fees. A tense standoff developed this week after

In a speech earlier this week, Lisa O. Monaco’s full, prepared text is available here. She presented the speech, entitled “Countering Violent Extremism and the Power of Community,” at Harvard University’s Kennedy School of Government on April 15. Monaco began her remarks by eloquently describing the lives tragically lost last year during the Boston Marathon bombings. Interestingly, the Harvard grad failed to mention the religion or the motive of brothers Dzhokhar and Tamerlan
