| Oh good grief. Peter Singer has embraced Aubrey de Gray’s quest to defeat human aging. For those who don’t know, de Gray–who looks like a long-lost member of ZZ Top–believes that his research is so important that it should be funded ahead of providing healthcare for destitute Africans. Indeed, I saw him give a wild-eyed speech in which he explicitly compared under funding his work to a terrorist blowing up a car. * Frivolous - why does it matter that he looks like ZZ-top member?
* Naturalmente. Research in USA and Europe predominantly focuses on problems facing their populations - cholesterol etc., not tuberculosis or malaria. Viagra for example. So this is a straw man argument. Amricans feed their dogs brand name food while destitute in Africa die of hunger. What about that?
If the world can continue to develop economically and technologically, people will become wealthier, and, in the long run, anti-aging treatment will benefit everyone.
That is a valid argument. But of course for Wesley the problem is that Singer is an atheist.

If this is the Peter Singer from princeton, the medical ethicist, he believes that the mother of a baby, up to age one of that baby, has the right to have the baby killed if it is ´defective.´ And Singer does not define defective.

Earlier this week, Roger L. Simon of Pajamas Media broke a story with shocking revelations, contending that slain U.S. ambassador Chris Stevens was in Benghazi on September 11 to buy back Stinger missiles from al-Qaeda groups that had been originally provided to them by the U.S. State Department. Simon cited two former U.S. diplomats: Stevens’ mission in Benghazi, they will say, was to buy back Stinger missiles from al-Qaeda groups issued to them by the State Department, not by the CIA.

Longoria, 38, took home a real degree (not an honorary one) in Chicano studies from Cal State Northridge, where she physically attended classes for three years, according to TMZ. "Big day today!!! Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

What´s so interesting about 60 tea partiers protesting the IRS in San Jose, California on Tuesday, May 21st? The fact that this bit of information was conveyed to the protesters by a Department of Homeland Security officer who was also in attendance. On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.
