| 2:18PM EST December 10. 2012 - As "fiscal cliff" talks exit the public posturing stage and real private discussions begin, this would be a good time to take a step back and look at the whole fiscal forest, instead of the trees. The biggest problem we´ve had in our economy for the last several years is a lack of job growth. We officially came out of the recession more than three years ago, but our economy is still not growing fast enough to create enough jobs for everyone

lack of job? how can that be. Our governemnt says it is at 7.7%. I mean, our government and beloved media would not try to tell us that things were could when they are not would they?

There will never be any growth as long as the Obama administration keeps its boot on the neck of the private sector and spends the country into ruin. Period.

Headline is right but irrelevant. It links Reality with Maybe.
Job growth is the Maybe. It may place over time. It won´t be soon and may not occur. It must be real jobs, not government pretend jobs or achieved with inadequate labor statistics which mislead.
The Budget is Reality. It is Washington´s job right now. Today. Not someday if something happens and conditions make it possible. Now!
And we see Washington keeps failing to do its Reality task. The process is broken.

After a week of revelations about government spying on reporters and the Internal Revenue Service targeting conservatives, most voters feel “like the federal government has gotten out of control and is threatening the basic civil liberties of Americans.” At the same time, a new Fox News poll finds disapproval of President Obama’s job performance is above 50 percent for the first time in a year, his honesty rating is at a new low and half of voters already think he’s a lame-duck.

When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. One of two men allegedly being questioned in connection with the Boston Marathon bombings was shot and killed by an FBI agent in Florida on Tuesday, (Snip)A friend of Ibragim Todashev said he and Todashev were being investigated as part of the Boston bombings. He said Todashev, 27, knew bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev because both were MMA fighters. The man claims he and Todashev were interviewed by the FBI for nearly three hours on Tuesday. The friend said he left the interview, and when he came back to the apartment he found that there had been a shooting.

What´s so interesting about 60 tea partiers protesting the IRS in San Jose, California on Tuesday, May 21st? The fact that this bit of information was conveyed to the protesters by a Department of Homeland Security officer who was also in attendance. What was a DHS agent doing at the San Jose Tea Party protest? (snip) they weren´t just spying on us in San Jose and monitoring us in San Francisco, they were watching us throughout the entire state

Eva Longoria is backing up her beauty with a whole lot of brain. The actress graduated with a master´s degree Wednesday. Longoria, 38, took home a real degree (not an honorary one) in Chicano studies from Cal State Northridge, where she physically attended classes for three years, according to TMZ. "Big day today!!! Very excited to graduate for my master´s degree in Chicano studies! You´re never too old or too busy to continue your education!" the actress wrote on her Who Say site Wednesday, sharing loads of pics of her big day, posing with her family, cohorts and diploma.
