President Barack Obama mourned the loss of a member of the U.S. special forces killed in action on Sunday on a mission to rescue captives of the Taliban, calling the unnamed man a heroic and dedicated soldier. ´Yesterday, our special operators in Afghanistan rescued an American citizen in a mission that was characteristic of the extraordinary courage, skill and patriotism that our troops show every day,´ Obama said in a statement Sunday. ´Tragically, we lost one of our special operators in this effort. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family, just as we must always honor

I would have to say that the doctor should have recognized the risks in traveling around Afghanistan without military escort and should have been prepared to accept the consequences.
That this fool put his life in jeopardy, thereby causing the death of a SEAL during his rescue is disturbing.
I am sure that the good doctor will have some exciting stories to tell at the country club.

US military members are killed or grievously wounded every week in Afghnistan without a word from Obama. It´s only when he can remind us that "Osama is dead and I killed him" that he mentions a fatality.

Would that Obama, the AP, ABC and the oher news outlets note the deaths of all soldiers and Marines in Afghanistan. Instead, a soldier´s family learns of the loss from a military officer´s knock on the door, with the local paper providing the only news of the tragedy. A forgotten war, unless it helps Obama.

Obama issues the statement and then goes to the concert and poses with the guy who asked that people kill US troops and their families.
There´s a tone deafness and disconnect here that the media , of course, won´t notice.

No, he didn´t.

Just who does Obama pray to when he throws his "prayers and thoughts" canned language into the mix? All he does is sully the heroic efforts of all Americans serving this nation in the military. Obama is the smarmiest dirt bag on the earth and I wouldn´t believe a word he said on any subject—e.g., he´s the slime who told told us how proud he is that we´ve (America) have learned to love his repulsive, hate whitey, hate America wife as much as he does. Yeah, right Zippy. We love her as much as we love you.

The old saying that "actions speak louder than words" has never been more true than when applied to this socialist president. His words said mourn, but his actions of attending the Psy event says his words meant nothing.

We don´t need or want The Won´s thoughts or prayers because they appear to be asking for the wrong thing.

Rings a bit hollow after those America/Military-hating Gangsta Thugs sang for you, doesn´t it Mr. Soetero?

Maybe you should´ve rapped your public statement . . .

RIP, Team Six Shadow Warrior. Prayers for your grieving family. This is still the greatest nation on the face of the earth. Ask any European country struggling to stay alive & safe from terrorism. I salute you, sir. Rest in peace knowing your mission was accomplished in the name of our country. We will keep fighting for it. I. Am. Breitbart.

#3, having done a little research on the Doctor in question and the organization he works for, I am confident that the doctor WAS aware of the risk he was taking and that he was prepared to accept the consequences. If he is like those that I personally know who work for similar organizations, while he is grateful to those who rescued him, he would have preferred that no one put themselves at risk on his behalf.

Obozo mourns? I think not. In fact, his HHS is furiously trying to put in place a process that deems all returning Seal & combat trained military mentally damaged & ineligible for a gun license.

I am sickened that this miserable CIC pretends mourning over this incredible military hero. I know why we went to such extraordinary lengths to rescue this doctor. Don´t tell me it was because he helped America. Obama picks and chooses how to use our brave military men - for his own selfish sick reasons.

Syria activists look to a

WASHINGTON— The hunt for proof that Syrian government forces used banned chemical weapons may come down to a rotting corpse exhumed late last month from a makeshift cemetery near Damascus. The grave diggers — a Syrian doctor and several medical students — were seeking tissue from the remains of a man who had died of respiratory failure after a rocket allegedly spewed poison gas on Dariya, a suburb of the Syrian capital, on April 25. Reaching the cadaver several feet down, the team sliced open the cloth shroud, cut into the torso and removed a small piece of lung.

What do you do when your base is angry about Guantanamo? I guess that you promise to close it again. You also blame Congress for not giving you the money to do it. The problem is that it was a Congress controlled by Democrats that did not provide the funding. What about drones? You promise that we will "drone" more carefully from now on. Let´s hope that the terrorists will cooperate by keeping children away from them. What about tapping reporters phones? You say that it was about national security and because that "darn Congress"

On Melissa Harris-Perry Saturday morning, David Cay Johnston, an investigative reporter and professor at Syracuse University College of Law, lambasted the Obama Administration as hermetically sealed toward journalists, even in comparison to the Bush and Reagan administrations. Following a discussion on the President’s drone speech, in which the panel agreed that while drones are here to stay, the true problem is the lack of visibility and accountability into their use, Johnston expanded the point to a larger condemnation of the White House’s lack of transparency.

The emergency operating room where doctors tried to save President Kennedy´s life after he was shot has been broken into pieces and covertly stored in crates for years, guarded as if it were a state secret. As the 50th anniversary in November of the President´s assassination nears, an investigative team from local Dallas station WFAA went digging for the exact location of the broken tiles and medical equipment used on that fateful day. They found that the room was formally destroyed in 1972 when Parkland Hospital was going through an expansion and Trauma Room 1 had to be demolished.

A man who was searching for pythons discovered a piece of actual treasure instead. Mark Rubenstein was taking part in the Florida state-wide python killing competition when he discovered a gold pendant adorned with diamonds and sapphires. Mr Rubenstein found the piece of jewellery in the Everglades in February, and because of the location of the discovery, he believes that it landed in the swamp in the wreckage of a fatal plane crash. Though the Florida coast has been the site of many shipwrecks in the past, this find is not thought to be a remnant of the Spanish era

CRAWFORD —Former President George W. Bush needed little help to blaze a trail Friday for 14 veterans mountain biking with him through open prairies, slick ravines and steep canyons. That’s because he brought the third annual Warrior 100K Ride — a three-day mountain biking trek to honor service members injured in Afghanistan and Iraq — to the well-worn paths at his Prairie Chapel Ranch outside of Waco. But even as Bush welcomed the wounded warriors to his home to thank them for their service, he made clear that his mission to help veterans extends well beyond the trails

Every Memorial Day, when I run into the grocery store to pick up those last minute items for the three day weekend’s picnic, I’m met with members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) selling their poppies. We cherish, too, the poppy red/ that grows on fields where valor led; It seems to signal to the skies/that blood of heroes never dies-- “We Shall Keep the Faith” by Moina Michael -I remember as a kid that it was very common to see paper poppies being sold around Memorial Day. Washington rumor has it that Obama wants to be U.N. Secretary General. There are several reasons that make that likely, and if it´s true, it throws new light on a lot of Obama´s oddities -- including his Royalty Bows, his Apology Tours, his Muslim Sellout, and the Benghazi Cover-Up. But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term?

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”

Abuse Of Power: Any scandal investigation that expects a "Eureka!" moment, a White House e-mail, or Oval Office smoking gun will be misguided. In fact, the dots are already connected directly to the president. Barack Obama is not foolish enough to have a tape recording system hidden in his desk. And his administration staff are not careless enough to send one another incriminating e-mails. If the president was behind the IRS unlawfully harassing conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, we can be sure the communications were all sotto voce and in persona, like any good Chicago political operator.

A Washington state Democrat is accusing Republicans of “throwing American infrastructure … under the bus” after a bridge collapse there this week. The portion of Interstate 5 in Washington that runs over the Skagit River collapsed on Thursday after a truck hit an overhead support structure, but Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wash.) cited the incident in an interview as proof Republicans were blocking infrastructure investment to hurt President Obama politically. “Well, they have clearly spent the whole last five years trying to tear the president down, but they have done it by throwing the American infrastructure and
