Nor, even, can the ongoing civil war between al-Assad’s Alawite supporters and the Sunni anti-Assad fighters. “All of these countries—whether it’s Iraq or Syria or Lebanon—were literally drawn with lines in the sand,” says Dexter Filkins. “You’re seeing in these artificial states, these pressures that have been in play for decades, for almost a hundred years.

Let´s just stay out of this. I don´t care who wins or who gasses who. I have morphed into an isolationist when it comes to the ME. The Arabs aren´t worth it. The only country worth our support for strategic (and moral) reasons is Israel.

According to a story in Haaretz we´re already on the ground with advisors. Safe havens and no fly zones are next. We´re going to be heavily involved. Syria is a disaster. No food, runaway inflation and a complete economic collapse soon to follow. We will be on the hook for billions. The Eisenhower and Iwo Jima aren´t sitting off the coast of Syria for nothing. Hillary should have started working with Putin last year to put an end to this.

If we continue on the same foreign policy path that we taken for the last four years, then yes we will get involved (we are more than likely already involved). After all there are only a couple of Arab countries left that we haven´t screwed up...from the Arab spring, to summer, to fall, to winter, and the band played on!

Former News Corp president Peter Chernin has bid around $500 million for Hulu, the online video streaming service he helped create in 2007, according to two sources with knowledge of Hulu´s sale process. The website, jointly controlled by News Corp and Walt Disney Co, reached out to potential buyers in March after initially contemplating a deal in which one would buy out the other. It is not clear whether that transaction is still being contemplated.

After lengthy investigations, the Pentagon has determined that three Army generals committed misconduct in separate incidents, adding to an unusually long list of senior military commanders who have been censured over the past year.On Friday, defense officials confirmed that Army Maj. Gen. Ralph O. Baker, the commander of a strategic counterterrorism force on the Horn of Africa, was fired March 28 on charges of sexual misconduct. Two officials familiar with the case said Baker was investigated for allegedly groping a female civilian employee after he had been drinking.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago.
