Psy ‘Forever Sorry’ for
Anti-American Song

ABC News, by Sheila Marikar

Original Article

Posted By:PageTurner, 12/7/2012 7:01:09 PM

Psy, the South Korean rapper famous for “Gangnam Style,” apologized today for a 2004 performance in which he said American soldiers should be killed “slowly and painfully.” The apology comes two days before he is scheduled to perform at a holiday concert that will be attended by President Obama and his family. TNT, the organizer of the concert, told ABC News that Psy will perform on Sunday as planned. A White House official confirmed to ABC News that the Obama family will attend the Dec. 9 taping of ”Christmas in Washington,” as is custom.

Comments:
I never thought this dork was a bad sort. And I liked his little video. His apology is accepted. Only Obama will be disappointed.

Apology accepted? No freaking way. Words have consequences.

I will never watch that freakshow "Ice-T" no matter how much they clean him up and present him as a serious actor, based on what he sang about police officers.

I have no idea who this little twit is, or what the he** "Gangham Style" is, beyond just sounding as stupid as he looks.

You wish pain and suffering on the very same military that saved your butt during the Korean War?

And just say "I am sorry" and that is it?

Frankly, I have had enough of the BS from young Koreans, we should pull up stakes there and let them deal with their perverted neighbor alone.

Of course they will attend, what does Obama care if someone is saying that American soldiers should be killed slowly and painfully, right?

Obama is a degenerate and half the country voted for him or helped him cheat the system.

Fitting that he will perform for the first family.

I´m not sure an apology really addresses the issue, morally and intellectually speaking. These "lyrics" are quite frightening. If there is ever such a thing as "hate speech" and incitement to violence, this is it:

Kill those f**king Yankees who have been torturing Iraqi captives
Kill those f**king Yankees who ordered them to torture
Kill their daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law, and fathers
Kill them all slowly and painfully

The concert was held on the heels of the decapitation of a Korean missionary by Islamic militants in Iraq, which fueled anti-U.S. military sentiment in South Korea. In 2002, an American military vehicle struck and killed two 13-year-old Korean girls. The soldiers involved in the incident were later acquitted of negligent homicide.

Why is a Korean rapper performing at an event titled "Christmas in Washington"? I´m sick to death of multiculti BS. I want my country back.

Producer/Manager: Hey PSY, they just found out that you are an America hater. Time to go out and apologize.

PSY: Sclew Amelica!

Producer/Manager: It will cost us $50 Million next year if you don´t say you are forever sorry.

PSY: Oh, OK boss. PSY vely vely solly.

Another dope performer geek who fancies himself an "artist" with insight into the human condition that none of us, the great unwashed, could ever see without hisself. Not worth my worries.

I think we should enjoy Psy´s video. Watch the Naval Academy´s (or Ohio´s or Oregon´s) version for a real hoot. This is unfortunate but a long time ago.
Do we want to be in Korea? Should we be? In many ways it´s been worth it. Look at Korea´s economic engine! Stay friendly.

This might be serious if the creature were performing before an American president.

When I was in the service we would conduct joint exercises in his crappy little country. He was probably just a young kid eating pot boiled kimshee - - foul tasting C**P that probably formed is personality.

Of course Obama will attend the concert of a person who called for the death and killing of American servicemembers. He never lets anything stand in the way of having a good time. And why should about the feelings of those hillbillies who make up the bulk of America´a Armed Forces now that he has been reelected?

I am with #1´s assessment 100%. As usual, with the Left, the apologies pour out when they get caught or it might hurt them financially.

Sclew ´em - gangham style.

"I’m deeply sorry for how these lyrics could be interpreted."

Yes, how might one interpret these lyrics to give them their non-offensive meanings?

Kill those f**king Yankees who have been torturing Iraqi captives
Kill those f**king Yankees who ordered them to torture
Kill their daughters, mothers, daughters-in-law, and fathers
Kill them all slowly and painfully

Tell you what, "Psy." My two sons are Marines and one of them did two tours in Iraq. I also assume that I´m one of those "fathers" that #16 cites. Maybe we´ll meet up one day.

I won´t be looking for an autographed photo.

They always apologize after they get caught, not before.

In this case especially, an apology is good for the Seoul.

#6 - About a quarter of South Korea´s population is Christian. So there´s nothing strange about a South Korean celebrating Christmas. But this particular South Korean - should not be allowed a visa into this country.

Organized Labor: On the surface, the Los Angeles mayor´s race looked like a choice between Coke and Pepsi. But Eric Garcetti´s lopsided win over Wendy Greuel showed a major difference — in the public´s view of unions. City Controller Greuel lost 54%-46% on Tuesday, bested by City Councilman Garcetti, who will become the mayor of America´s second-largest city on July 1. It was an interesting result because the candidates are two peas in a pod. Both are left-wing Democrats with ideas so closely aligned they have been political allies; both grew up in the San Fernando Valley;

Argentine government trade restrictions on overseas sales of beef have turned Paraguay into Mercosur third largest exporter behind Brazil and Uruguay. The first place last year belonged to Brazil with exports of 1.3 million tons; Uruguay, 350.000 tons; Paraguay, 210.00 and finally Argentina.183.000 tons. The poor international performance of Argentina, once the world leading beef exporter is attributed to the measures first implemented by President Nestor Kirchner in 2006 and continued by her wife and current head of state.

An editorial at Investors.com Monday noted that, having succeeded twice at electing a candidate with a radical socialist background, Barack Obama’s political advisors have now moved from a goal of merely controlling the “narrative,” to one of control of the actual “news.” The “seizure of AP phone records and surveillance of Fox employees,” says the editorial, demonstrates the White House’s “real aim.” The editorial observes that Obama’s political advisors have reveled in their ability to work the media. They took an otherwise inferior candidate, who is not representative of most Americans in

Statism: Pope Francis seemed to have an economic blind spot, to say the least, when he urged more "state control" to cut global poverty Thursday. On the contrary — the biggest poverty-killer in history is free enterprise. Before we go further, let us say that we know that the pope does seem to have the best intentions and his devotion to the poor is indisputable. But it appears he has been infected by the local economic pathologies of his homeland, Argentina, and its liberation theology among the Jesuits, at least when he warned ambassadors about "the tyranny of money"

IRS Attack Against Tea

Democracy: The IRS targeting of Tea Party groups is mind-boggling not only for its abuse of government power. It´s also disturbing for what it intended to do: destroy civil society, opening a door for tyranny. The formation in 2009 of hundreds of Tea Party groups at the rallying cry of CNBC news editor Rick Santelli, from places as diverse as Lowell, Mass., Pleasanton, Calif., Asheville, N.C., Yuma, Ariz., and Lincoln, Neb., among hundreds of others, was a spontaneous reaction by ordinary American citizens to an overspending, oversized government whose overreach called into question its constitutionality.

Many observers have pondered if the United States is following the same troubled path as Argentina. In the 1940s, Argentina’s Juan Domingo Perón used government agencies for political gain and created a popular form of fascism called Perónism. In the United States, the recent revelation of the Internal Revenue Service targeting political enemies is a bad omen. Are we on an Argentinean course? The road to decay in my native country, Argentina, began with the implementation of one of the most powerful collectivist doctrines of the 20th century: fascism.

CARACAS, Venezuela — First milk, butter, coffee and cornmeal ran short. Now Venezuela is running out of the most basic of necessities — toilet paper. Blaming political opponents for the shortfall, as it does for other shortages, the embattled socialist government says it will import 50 million rolls to boost supplies. That was little comfort to consumers struggling to find toilet paper on Wednesday. "This is the last straw," said Manuel Fagundes, a shopper hunting for tissue in downtown Caracas. Former Rep. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

What´s so interesting about 60 tea partiers protesting the IRS in San Jose, California on Tuesday, May 21st? The fact that this bit of information was conveyed to the protesters by a Department of Homeland Security officer who was also in attendance. What was a DHS agent doing at the San Jose Tea Party protest?
