| Is it a girl? Is it a boy? Is it a hockey-playing helicopter pilot with blue eyes and lustrous locks? Is it identical twins who can do the first monarchy job-share, taking it in turns to cut the ribbons and doze through the Royal Variety Performance? No, it’s an early pregnancy, as fraught with risk as any other. The foetus currently measures about an inch and its feet are starting to lose their webbed appearance. Now the miracle of becoming human can begin. In the brain, nerve cells sprout branches and join up to make miniature trees where,

Nonsense. This is about all we have to chatter and gossip about since neither Lohan nor Hilton has shown their bare crotch to the world since at least last Wednesday.

And especially no more calls to the hospital from Australian entertainment idiots imitating the Queen. I thought Australia had thinking people, salt of the earth and so forth. Now we find they are as stupid as our own radio and tv personalities.

How silly. Nobody is bothering them. This lovely couple has top notch 24/7 security, wealth and medical care. With the Royal position, you get press. Believe me, if nobody cared, the Royal family would be much more worried.

She married into one of the wealthiest do-nothing families in the world. At least she can take a few inquiries. It beats working a 9-5. She and her husband seem like nice, decent people, but get over yourselves. Surrender your fortune and try being a non-royal.

Perhaps posters who don´t want to read about this should simply ignore the links... I for one appreciate stories that don´t mention Obama. I also enjoy reading about the Duke and Duchess but I agree with the author, the press needs to leave her alone. She is a woman, not a cow. I cannot even fathom the level of stress she is under.
Thanks for posting OP.

#4, I agree completely. I have spent a lot of time in Australia. The Australians puzzle me. They are pretty steadfast allies of the US, but they are different. When I first started doing a lot of business there, I expressed my puzzlement, my colleague´s comment was "They look like us and they speak the same language, but they really are nothing like us." I have since learned that this is true. Good people, but different.

Sorry. She is a brood mare. That´s what being Royal is all about, continuing the blood line. History of Brit. royalty is all about human breeding- nothing more.

Agree with last poster. She absolutely is a brood mare, as are all women in her position. When Lisa Marie Presley married Michael Jackson for three weeks or however long it was, her mother´s advice? Get pregnant as soon as possible.

Piled high amid a trail of destruction, these tragic horses are among more than 100 thought to have been killed in the Oklahoma tornado. As well as human lives that were lost, farms around the suburb of Moore took a direct hit from the giant twister which swept up everything in its path with winds of more than 200mph and the power of up to 600 nuclear bombs. Witnesses who cowered in terror described seeing ´horses and stuff flying around everywhere´ and returning to find ´scorched earth´ and crumpled buildings. They came across distressing scenes of horses

A mother-of-two described tonight how she put her own life on the line by trying to persuade the soldier’s murderers to hand over their weapons. Cub scout leader Ingrid Loyau-Kennett selflessly engaged the terrorists in conversation and kept her nerve as one of them told her: “We want to start a war in London tonight.” Mrs Loyau-Kennett, 48, from Cornwall, was one of the first people on the scene after the two Islamic extremists butchered a soldier in Woolwich, south east London. She was photographed by onlookers confronting one of the attackers who was holding a bloodied knife.

In between all the political brush fires that have engulfed the White House in recent days, President Obama and wife Michelle Obama have still managed time for vacation planning. The nation’s first family is looking to cool their jets this summer at a house in Farm Neck on Martha’s Vineyard, according to the Boston Globe. Obama and his family are no stranger to Martha’s Vineyard, having made three previous summer visits to Blue Heron Farm in Chilmark. They skipped going there last summer, and their favorite Blue Heron Farm house might not be available anymore.

Heather French Henry, the former beauty queen and wife of former Lt. Gov. Steve Henry, is considering challenging U.S. Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell in 2014. Henry told The Hill, a Washington, D.C., political newspaper that she is being urged by Democrats in Kentucky to take on the five-term senator. “I´m not saying no yet, but I´m not saying yes,” she told The Hill. Henry, who won the Miss America contest in 2000, has never run for office but has gained some notoriety because of her volunteer work with veterans.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, whose career in public life came to an abrupt end when he sent lewd pictures to a college student on Twitter, jumped back into politics on Wednesday by announcing a bid for mayor of New York City. “Look, I’ve made some big mistakes and I know I’ve let a lot of people down,” the Democrat said in a 2-minute video announcing his bid. “But I’ve also learned some tough lessons. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.
