| Prosecutors released the latest cache of evidence in the George Zimmerman murder case on Tuesday, including new details of Zimmerman´s interest in law enforcement and testimony alleging racism and sexism in the Sanford Police Department. Among the new documents were FBI reports, (Snip) including interviews with Sanford police, Zimmerman´s neighbors and at least one coworker. One witness, Sanford´s Senior Project Manager Andrew Thomas, described the police as a "´good old boys´ network."(Snip)Said the other witness, a lifelong resident of Sanford: "It is hard to be an African American male in Sanford and not have a criminal record."

Comments: Jeff Weiner, who was reveling in crucifying George Zimmerman, will now be engaged in trying to be fair and balanced and saving his own self-tarnished journalistic reputation.

That´s not evidence... That´s hearsay and anecdotal.
Disgusting and should be thrown out but such is the new norm in Obamaland.

So, exactly how an unrelated FBI investigation does about the police department using interviews and not facts affect what happen that night? This is pure switch and bait to make the public (pollute the potential jury pool) think its one big conspiracy. Seems unlike the defense in the OJ trail, it’s now the prosecutor’s intent to defame the police department.

The FBI "evidence" package included many things. Among them the color photo we have now seen of how George Zimmerman´s fact looked immediately after Trayvon Martin beat him.
If you only read the headline and intro, you won´t know that George Zimmerman personally challenged the Sanford Police Department for its fairly recent whitewash of an incident where the son of a high level police captain or assistant chief (white) beat up a black homeless man at a bar. Zimmerman printed flyers and put them on the windshields of cars at black churches, trying to get them to take action and bring justice for this homeless man.
Surely the Sanford PD remembered George Zimmerman when the Trayvon Martin shooting occurred. This information is relevant to this case, not simply the "trashing" of a police department.
This report verifies (and there is more to it than in the intro) that there had been a culture of corruption and bias against blacks in this PD.
This FBI investigation was due to the filing of a civil rights complaint against Zimmerman, which is separate from the local Zimmerman homicide charges. If witness statements made to the FBI and other law enforcement are not considered to be part of the full body of evidence in a case, there will be no criminal investigations. And ultimately no trials.
It is clear that the FBI´s information is favorable to Zimmerman. He was not a racist.

A read of the article discloses that Angela Corey did not release this package until the Sentinel filed a formal request for it.

What is this man on trial for, Jeff Weiner? Being a racist and sexist? I know you would have it so.

The information extracted from the files of Adipose Angela Corey appears, in total, to be favorable to George Zimmerman. No wonder Adipose Angela didn´t release it on her own.

The real racists in the case are the ones trying to railroad Zimmerman. If Zimmerman was black, he would have been a hero. Since he is not black, he becomes a tool for the corrupt racist government.

This is a shoddy, shoddy piece of reporting, inasmuch as it tries to draw from out of the blue some connection of the Zimmerman prosecution to facts/opinions that are completely irrelevant to core issue of a criminal case, i.e., to Zimmerman´s conduct and his intent. Mr. Weiner (an appropriate name for this fool)tries to hang the perception of a racist, sexist Sanford police department on to a criminal defendant, Zimmerman. In other words, according to Weiner´s logic, Zimmerman is nothing more than a by-product of a racist/sexist mindset infecting the Sanford Police Department and, therefore, guilty as charged.

Most police forces ARE a good old boy network. And, if it is hard to be black in Sanford and not have a criminal record, there is a remedy for that. QUIT COMMITING CRIMES!

Grief and politics don´t mix. When raw, aching grief and the dirtiest kind of politics meet, a hot volcano of pain and outrage erupts that is unstoppable. But it is necessary.(Snip)before Benghazi, there was Extortion 17, the call sign of a special operations mission in Afghanistan on Aug. 6, 2011. Three months after the strike on Osama bin Laden, 30 Americans -- including 15 from the bin Laden strike-team unit, Navy SEAL Team 6, and two other SEALs -- were killed in the costliest single-day loss for the U.S. military in the Afghanistan war, and the largest SEAL loss

A faulty steering apparatus may bring an early end to NASA’s Kepler space telescope, a $600 million tool in the space agency’s quest for life elsewhere in the universe. Kepler is the first NASA mission capable of finding Earth-size planets in or near the habitable zone, the range of distance from a star where the surface temperature of an orbiting planet might be suitable for liquid water. Launched in 2009, it has discovered thousands of such planets, including a pair just 1,200 light years away.(Snip) But yesterday, Kepler’s mission ran into trouble.

The Internal Revenue Service last year supplied a left-leaning nonprofit charity with confidential information about conservative organizations, which the charity disseminated to the public, ProPublica reported yesterday. The charity in question was ProPublica itself. We should acknowledge that "left-leaning" is our characterization; ProPublica describes itself in its own tax filings as "entirely non-partisan and non-ideological." ProPublica is legally obliged to be nonpartisan, for it enjoys tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, which means that contributions to it are tax-deductible.

If it is proven that the IRS thwarted some groups from obtaining tax-exempt status in fear that their traditional or conservative messages might hurt the 2012 Obama campaign (especially if it did so under pressure from White House-affiliated operatives), and if it is proven that the Obama administration deliberately ignored warnings about lax security at the Benghazi consulate, missed real opportunities to send help, or deliberately massaged intelligence reports in order to mislead the pre-election public about the true nature of Benghazi in order to further a false campaign narrative of a near dormant al-Qaeda

IS CONSERVATIVE THE new radical? The fashion world certainly seems to think so. This season, designers filled their runways with restrained silhouettes that echo the graceful, showing-less-is-more aesthetic of generations past. Designers are reimagining soignée staples for spring and summer—skirt suits, twin sets, below-the-knee dresses, kitten heels and frame bags—that appear anything but moth-eaten. In fact, fashion´s neoconservative coup d´état feels deliciously defiant, given the excessively revealing styles pop culture celebrates. A quick flip through any supermarket tabloid yields an

It would be too easy to make fun of the good Christian voters of South Carolina’s 1st Congressional District who saw fit to return their disgraced former Gov. Mark Sanford to the office he once held. I won’t do it. Well, maybe just a little. Sanford, whose political rise was fueled by his conservative principles and focus on family values, did not stay true to his wife. But in the end, the voters in South Carolina’s 1st stayed true to him.(Snip)“Obviously, there´s a vulnerability to me now that people respond to," Sanford told

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?" Judge Andrew Napolitano explained that the question about guns comes out of a post-Sandy Hook executive order by President Obama, but it will be required under Obamacare. Varney expressed amazement

While many Americans were tuned into news coverage of the massive damage from tornadoes ravaging the state of Oklahoma, Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse took to the Senate floor to rail against his Republican colleagues for denying the theory of anthropogenic global warming. Whitehouse spent 15 minutes chastising GOP senators and justified his remarks by alluding to states that seek federal assistance in the wake of natural disasters. “So, you may have a question for me,” Whitehouse said. “Why do you care?
