| United Nations - The U.N. General Assembly has overwhelmingly approved a resolution calling on Israel to quickly open its nuclear program for inspection and backing a high-level conference to ban nuclear weapons from the Middle East which was just canceled. (Snip) The resolution, approved Monday by a vote of 174-6 with 6 abstentions, calls on Israel to join the Nuclear Nonproliferation Treaty ‘‘without further delay’’ and open its nuclear facilities to inspection by the International Atomic Energy Agency. Those voting ‘‘no’’ were Israel, the U.S., Canada, Marshall Islands, Micronesia and Palau.

Comments:
Since Israel didn´t sign on to this type of blackmail from the UN, it´s can´t be sanctioned. The sentence cut off said basically that because of the overwhelming vote against Israel, it carries "moral and political" weight.
This is like the repeat offender telling me to "be good."

This would be the same UN that´s been raving endlessly - for most of my adult life, it seems - meaningless threats and admonitions regarding the nuclear aspirations of *Iran*???
With no discernible effect whatsoever beyond predictability of uselessness?

Ten minutes after Israel shows the IAEA anything all Israel´s enemies will have every detail.

Islam itself is the greatest weapon of mass destruction ever created. Each human it infects is converted into a serial killing terminator machine of enormous power.
Each year, thousands of non-Muslims are slaughtered by these almost unstoppable weapons of mass destruction killing machines. Islamic societies rejoice in the slaughter of their killing machines and give them the highest honors.

Where is the GOP in not condemning this predominantly 10th world organization.
The darn (prefer to use much stronger language) UN wants to take our guns, wants to chill our free speech, and wants to impose a global tax on Americans to finance "green" energy to other 10th world countries. Worse...these village idiots have immunity so that they can break American laws when in NYC with impunity.
Can´t we move the UN to Tehran, Ramallah, Beirut, Damascus or some other cesspool?
I hope Bibi gives the UN a certain finger often used by BO toward the GOP.

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. It is understood that a contingency plan is in place for the unlikely event that an attempt would be made on the President’s life. The Secret Service also have diplomatic immunity which will allow them to shoot to kill a would-be assassin without fear of prosecution. As part of the “evacuation route” plan, they would be able to spirit the President by chopper to one of the carriers where a jet is on standby to take him back to the United States.
