This explanation makes no sense. If we were eavesdropping, then we would have known an attack was coming and could have gotten the ambassador out of harm´s way. If the CIA was eavesdropping and did nothing, then Stevens and Smith were sacrificed. We certainly didn´t worry about jeopardizing info gleamed after our SEALs got OBL.

An article that stated the building was not a consulate, but an annex for the CIA in Benghazi and did not Fly the US Flag was one of the reasons this Admin. wanted to keep the public from knowing about the procurement of guns, ammo, etc. being shuttled to Turkey and Syria to arm the Jihadist there. A more advanced program of the Fast and Furious game.

Obama lied. And in Libya, four MEN died.

This administration would be perfect for any real comedy shows...which we no longer have. It writes it´s own materials. What astounds me is the level of intelligence of the average voter in this country. I had not realized it was that low and lacking all common sense.

Everyone in this administration, including Rice, Obama and Clinton, immediately after the attack began peddling the false narrative that (1) the attacks were spontaneous, and (2) the video made them happen. This commenced at once and without the least hesitancy or qualification or possibility that it might have been otherwise. Clinton and Obama went around apologizing for the video, expressing their disgust and loathing of its content, and regretting that America´s "tradition" prevented them from punishing the producer who, in any event, was arrested and imprisoned on another, unrelated charge.

These people must think we are crazy. The news media must think we are crazy. Maybe we are - we re-elected this bunch. But we heard and saw them saying the above over and over again. Now a smokescreen is being laid down as to who said or did what about the talking points as reviewed by two dozen different government agencies, and whether the attacks were to be attributed to Al-Quaeda etc. But that is not the issue, not at all. The issue is that they immediately started to lie and say the attacks were spontaneous and were caused by the video, when they knew perfectly well this was not the case, regardless of who specifically was responsible for the attacks.

They lied for all they were worth- and now they are lying about lying. And their faithful co-conspirators in the Democrat party and the news media are right there with them as usual, backing them up.

The Obama people put out this lie right away hoping that the terrorists would simply pick up that talking point-yes it was the video that made us mad and want to kill people. Oh, the video made you do it? Oh ok, we are bad Americans, you are good terrorists and you have a right to take revenge.

I certainly believe that we were peddling arms to so called rebels but the real fact is that we did not rescue these men.

We left Stevens there to die. Obamao went to bed with no idea or CARE IN THE WORLD if Stevens was dead or alive.

I heard a report on the radio yesterday that was essentially blaming the GOP for continuing to investigate this when Ms Rice was only repeating what she was told. It was as if this was all about her, no mention of the four lives lost. I can´t believe how the LSM is just ignoring those four lives. It is time for their family members to ruffle some feathers again.

We had no consulate or mission in B. We had a CIA gunrunning op. After the attack we had to come up with a story [´Consulate´] rather than the truth. It is just that this admin is especially stupid when it comes to telling lies. And that is surprising with all the practice they have had.

Regardless of semantics.. Consulate or embassy, there was video and a situation room watching developments.

There was repeated requests for help.. Denied three times.

If I understand what I have read about this issue, Obama was the only person who had any authority to make the call here. So the White House has a problem. They either admit that this president hasn´t the faintest idea of what is going on around him or they find him guilty of murder and of the apparent weaponry crimes which led to the murders.

Without regard to the what was going on before the attack, this Administration, read Obama, refused to order a rescue. That is the sin.

Classic indications of a cover-up:

Redirection: The administration and their MSM lackeys are doing their best to draw our attention to something else - anything else, like Petraeus´ affair.

Narrative testing: They run a new narrative up the flagpole every few days (we didn´t know we were lying for the first 3 weeks; this isn´t anything significant - Republicans are just politicizing it, nobody knows who changed the talking points, etc.)

Minimal effort to learn the truth: While CNN, some freelance journalists and others combed through the Benghazi rubble, the FBI team sent to investigate the attack arrived in Libya, but refused – for weeks - to go to Benghazi because it was too dangerous. Yet instead of sending a small contingent of marines to either secure the site or escort the FBI, Obama was content to do nothing to assist the investigation. Has anyone outside of Obama’s inner circle (who are part of the cover-up) been allowed to even speak with any of the “consulate staff” who were rescued?

I have no doubt that the report was altered in behalf of the CIA to cover up the operation to run arms from Libya to Syria which Stevens was orchestrating. I doubt if the CIA personnel actually did the altering. If Rice relayed inaccurate information on the attack (lied) who did and why was the report embellished with the phoney video story that Rice was spreading?
