| On Monday´s CBS This Morning, Cheesecake Factory CEO David Overton spotlighted the looming economic impact of Obamacare´s implementation, especially on small enterprises: "For those businesses that don´t cover their employees, they´ll be in for a very expensive situation." Overton also warned that the cost of the law would be passed on to customers. Anchor Norah O´Donnell raised the issue of the still-controversial health care law: "One of the things that´s going to change, of course, in the new year is ObamaCare, or the Affordable Care Act. How do you implement that at Cheesecake Factory, and how will you pay

Oh god I love this:
O´DONNELL: But – but when you say it will be very costly, it will be passed on to who - the customers?
No Norah, the tooth fairy. Private health insurance premiums are going to skyrocket in the next two years. With the cost shifting from all the new Medicaid patients and the community rating used to add people with pre existing conditions I wouldn´t be surprised to see a 20% or higher increase per year.

What a dumb article, nothing said by the guest was critical, and the question by the hostess was just stupid, if revealing.
The headline is idiotic, of course it will be costly to those who offered no such benefit before, doh.

It didn´t look ACA negative to me. It looked like understated propaganda. They brought in a business exec who seemed reasonable and thoughtful to tell us there is no problem yet.
Overton played his role smoothly. I won´t be surprised to see him in a Democrat administration in a few years.
He shifted the focus and concerns to his competitors. After all, they aren´t really nice, compassionate, and effective people like the CF management.

Private medigap insurance for me is going up 30%. Although I will be in the next age catagory the letter from Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield cited " circumstances beyond our control". That circumstance is obamacare.

All those Obamatrons who voted for the fool will soon feel the effects of a less-than-forty-hour workweek - resulting in no employer funded health care costs. Suck it up and pay for it yourselves via higher taxes. You asked for it and you got it.

My interpretaton is that Big Companies will find a way to deal with impact while Small Business will be killed off. Who will get tax breaks, waivers, goverment help? Not the guy starting a business.

My guess is barry will make a pharoanic edict that healthcare MUST be provided to all workers. Either it will be pro-rated by percentage of 40 hour full-time, or he will go for broke: every employee will receive medical insurance regardless of the number of hours they work. Not sure how they´d handle people working multiple jobs; probably the pro rata thing.

Every time these Restaurant chains raise up their food prices they get less customers in return. Around here a number of those chain restaurants have closed up shop, who knows if they did that to significantly down-size before Obama Care gets up a head of steam and costs go away up, or they just could not make a buck.

Gen. John Allen has been appointed special U.S. envoy on security issues in negotiations between Israel and the Palestinian Authority. He will not mediate between the parties; his work will almost exclusively involve contacts with Israel. Allen will deal with the U.S. position on Israeli security needs and the security arrangements that would accompany the establishment of a future Palestinian state. Senior U.S. and Israeli officials note that while U.S. Defense Secretary Chuck Hagel made the appointment it was coordinated with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry, who is leading the effort to restart Israeli-Palestinian negotiations.

Washington rumor has it that Obama wants to be U.N. Secretary General. There are several reasons that make that likely, and if it´s true, it throws new light on a lot of Obama´s oddities -- including his Royalty Bows, his Apology Tours, his Muslim Sellout, and the Benghazi Cover-Up. But first -- why would Obama be planning to become the chief of the U.N. before he has even finished his second term?

On Wednesday, Drummer Lee Rigby of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers, a man who had served Queen and country honorably in the hell of Helmand Province in Afghanistan, emerged from his barracks on Wellington Street, named after the Duke thereof, in southeast London. Minutes later, he was hacked to death in broad daylight and in full view of onlookers by two men with machetes who crowed "Allahu Akbar!" as they dumped his carcass in the middle of the street like so much roadkill. As grotesque as this act of savagery was, the aftermath was even more unsettling

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”

Abuse Of Power: Any scandal investigation that expects a "Eureka!" moment, a White House e-mail, or Oval Office smoking gun will be misguided. In fact, the dots are already connected directly to the president. Barack Obama is not foolish enough to have a tape recording system hidden in his desk. And his administration staff are not careless enough to send one another incriminating e-mails. If the president was behind the IRS unlawfully harassing conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, we can be sure the communications were all sotto voce and in persona, like any good Chicago political operator.

The murder of a soldier in south London on Wednesday has prompted fears of a backlash against British Muslims after the English Defence League staged an impromptu rally in the capital and two mosques were attacked. The BNP leader, Nick Griffin, has also reacted to the killing with provocative tweets calling for a protest in Woolwich and claiming the crime is the result of "mass immigration". Farooq Murad of the Muslim Council of Britain said the EDL´s rally in London on Wednesday night was cause for concern. "When attacks like these happen there´s always the danger of far-right extremism
