| Los Angeles - Do not call it a comeback and don´t even think of it as a farewell tour. After more than four decades making music and a 2010 tour, Fleetwood Mac will hit the road again next year. But it won´t be its last tour, singer Stevie Nicks vowed, dismissing any notion that the band could be packing away their instruments in the near future. "It´s never going to be a final tour until we drop dead," Nicks told Reuters. "There´s no reason for this to end as long as everyone is in good shape and takes care of themselves." The 34-city tour with dates in the United States and Canada will begin on April 4 in

For many of US baby boomers, [at least me] Stevie Nicks was the angel with that distinct, raspy voice. I´ve seen her three times in concert and electrify the audience each time with her presence. This is where music and charisma, not full blown Vegas style dancing & sets, whipped up your ardor for members of the band.
My favorite song from her will always be "Beauty & the Beast."

This just seems too much like a "let´s make money" tour. It´s happening frequently with the golden oldies so to speak. More often than not, they end up sounding awful and sullying their reputations.
Quite clearly, Stevie´s voice isn´t the same and neither are the voices of the other band members. Enough with these money tours.

Agree #1. The purity of her voice and the quiet but compelling emotion she can bring to music like "Songbird" are irreplaceable. It´s not the same without her.

I loved their music until Klinton used their song for his campaign. It ruined it for me. Haven´t played them since, and when I hear it on the radio I get this sinking feeling.

From a musical perspective,I thought they were great. However, Stevie´s bleating tremolo was a grate.

Another overplayed and overrated ´70s band. They had 2 big albums everybody had and they´ve lived off them since.

I agree with #1. Christine McVie has such a lovely voice. I like Stevie Nicks and I give her major props for her support for the troops, but I love McVie´s voice.

1, 3 and 7 are right. The band isn´t worth seeing without Christine McVie. I always thought she was a much better singer than Nicks.

I´m with #4 here. Its only been the last couple years I can listen to them again, and "Don´t Stop" is lost to me forever I think... I´m 15 years her junior, but I´d do anything for Stevie Nicks!!!

#5´s description of Nicks´ voice as "bleating tremolo" is right-on. It can become grating.

Stevie is ok, but the best songs and voice were Christine´s. I wish she could do some songs, even if she is too happy to tour.
