I will never understand the world´s obsession with the so-called Palestinian people. They were offered 97% of everything they wanted in 2000, they turned it down, and started blowing up buses and restaurants. And good for Israel for building more homes on some piece of dirt.

I apologize - in my earlier ´Post´ I used a bad word. Maybe it was ´Hussein´ - I can´t remember! But the point that I was attempting to make was that I was disturbed by the comments on the story that were made by ´readers´ of the New York Times - and probably by the Washington Post and the LA Times and Huffington-what´s-her-name.
The United States and our Allies (those who served in the military forces who gave their lives to liberate those very ´nations´ - European and Pacific - that were under the yoke of oppression) were not obstructed in their determination to carry out their goal by an ´organization´ called - stupidly! - ´The United Nations´! Some 90% of those ´Nations´ are vehemently opposed to the validity of the Constitution of the United States of America!
NOWHERE in the proud document does it mention anything at all about an ´International Court´ - it does, however, proclaim our National Sovereinty!
I - for one - maintain my steadfast support for the Nation of Israel!

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. It is understood that a contingency plan is in place for the unlikely event that an attempt would be made on the President’s life. The Secret Service also have diplomatic immunity which will allow them to shoot to kill a would-be assassin without fear of prosecution. As part of the “evacuation route” plan, they would be able to spirit the President by chopper to one of the carriers where a jet is on standby to take him back to the United States.
