Barack Obama may have won another four years as president, but it´s his wife Michelle that may lead the country beyond his second term if Samuel L. Jackson has his way. The Snakes on a Plane star got behind the first lady in a recent interview, saying that Michelle Obama would make a fine president - or a Supreme Court justice ´if she wants.´ Despite little indication that she has political aspirations - not to mention that the next election is four years away - Mrs Obama is getting support for her own White House run.
Drive to have the Mooch run for president will surely begin in 10/15, although she will have been campaigning 12 months earlier. Obama will claim that his policies are close to ending the Depression that began at the start of his 2nd term. He´ll tell the American voter once again that "we won´t go back when we are so very close to achieving unemployment below 12%". Michelle will trounce Hilary in the Dem primaries. CNBC will roar when BLS reports an 11.9% rate in 10/16. Only thing that would stop Mooch is an executive order that states that BO is not subject to constraints imposed by 22nd Amendment. Chief Justice Susan Rice will lead Supreme Court to 5 to 4 vote granting Obama the exemption to run for 2 more terms. To console Mooch, BO will issue executive order for a First Lady´s salary equal to that of a president.
In this day and age, anything is possible. We live in an era where a simple statement is considered to be evidence.
For example, if I said Michelle Obama would make a good President, the masses would take that to mean that there exists evidence that she would make a good President. There is almost a total lack of questioning and analysing beyond the statement. It´s a form of cultism.
At the rate things are going, you´ll have Michelle as President, Malia as Secretary of State, and Beyonce as education czar.
Don´t think this isn´t being floated for a reason. Michelle wold like nothing better than to follow her husband. Her qualifications are being 1) black, 2) female, and 3)married to Obama. And I would assume those facts alone will be enough for every Democrat voter to pull the lever for her come 2016. You should assume that too.
1. This is like having Ray Charles compliment your photography.
2. FTA: Despite little indication that she has political aspirations....
Are you nuts? She´s already got a personal staff of 22 or more. And while the Daily Mail says this, the fact is that she´s sticking her meddlesome fingers into all sorts of corners of American life. Unasked. Uninvited. And unendingly, it seems.
So if not "aspiring" to the process, she sure does l-o-o-o-v-v-e wielding the power. Ugh.
See folks this is why they killed Mace Windu off in SWROTS. To much of an dumb a-hole to keep around. Typical black liberal actor like Sammy L either doesn´t know or doesn´t care that a large percentage of us "little people" really don´t give a rip what he thinks of the First Wookie. Sadly though enough of the racist black idiots in our entertainment industry think that Chewie should be somewhere in our government. I have a good place for her but I can´t type it here.
All Michelle Obama has to do is read Barack Obama´s speeches to the Democrat base and she will win the Democrat nomination for President over the likes of Hillary Clinton.
If the Democrats were to nominate Hillary over Michelle, much of the black vote that the Democrats absolutely need to win national elections would stay home on election day and the Democrats would loose the national election. The politicians who run the Democrat Party know that, are not about to loose the election, and would nominate Michelle over Hillary in a second.
That why if Michele runs, Hillary will not run against her, and the country will end up with the Obama´s in the White House for another eight years. They are already putting out feelers talking about Hillary becoming Mayor of New York city rather then running for President in 2016.
I’d like to interrupt your current cable news broadcast about [insert Selfie-Gate, Santa Claus´ skin color, Handshake-Gate, or the War on Christmas™] to throw some cold water on everything: The Associated Press reports that missiles fired by a U.S. drone obliterated a convoy of vehicles heading to a wedding in Yemen, killing at least 13 people. As with most reports of these military strikes in Yemen, there are conflicting reports: The Associated Press reports 13 deaths and cites an unnamed Yemeni official who said there were suspected al Qaeda militants among the convoy; but Reuters, on the other hand, says
ESPN has changed its mind and has decided to allow a St. Louis Children’s Medical Center to air an ad referencing “the birth of Jesus” and “God’s healing message.” In an email to CNSNews.com, Josh Krulewitz, VP of ESPN Communications says, “We have again reviewed the ads submitted for the SSM Cardinal Glennon Children’s Medical Center and have concluded that we will accept the original requested commercial.” “It will run in Saturday’s VCU at Northern Iowa basketball game on ESPNU. This decision is consistent with our practice of individual review of all ads under our commercial advocacy standards.”
WASHINGTON- President Obama will meet Friday with a group of newly elected mayors, including Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and New York Mayor-elect Bill de Blasio, for a discussion on job creation, a White House official said. The president plans to discuss federal-local partnerships that could spur growth, the official said. Obama has regularly tried to engage local officials on his largely stalled economic agenda. His plans for creating jobs by increasing spending on roads, bridges, ports and other projects have found little traction with Republicans in Washington. (Snip) The group includes mayors and mayors-elect, mostly Democrats, from a dozen
Jonah Goldberg devotes a column to the foundational lies of Obamacare with special attention to the third — the one that promised billions of dollars in savings. “This lie took several forms,” Goldberg notes, and looks at a few of them, all of them false. “Obamacare may have been sold on a trinity of lies,” Goldberg concludes, “but it turns out it’s also lies all the way down.” Goldberg’s column is well timed to coincide with the recognition accorded to the first of the foundational lies of Obamacare — “If you like your health plan, you can keep your health
Sen. Jeff Sessions (R-AL), the ranking GOP member of the Senate Budget Committee, said Thursday that Senate Republicans plan to filibuster the budget deal that House Budget Committee chairman Rep. Paul Ryan (R-WI) cut with Senate Budget Committee chairwoman Sen. Patty Murray (D-WA). The deal passed the House 332-94, with 62 Republicans and 32 Democrats voting against it. The bill is expected to come up for votes in the Senate early next week, either Monday or Tuesday. The type of filibuster Sessions spoke of is not the traditional “talking filibuster” like the one Sen. Rand Paul (R-KY) launched earlier this
ARLINGTON, Va. — On a chilly airport tarmac in Washington, D.C., the four daughters of Air Force Col. Francis Jay McGouldrick Jr. stood hand in hand yesterday, waiting for their father to come home. He’d been gone since Dec. 13, 1968, when he disappeared after a midair collision with another aircraft over Laos’ Savannakhet province. His girls were ages 4 to 13 at the time. Since then, they’ve waited in a strange sort of purgatory, never certain that he was gone. Delta Flight 938 from Atlanta touched down at 10:50 a.m. and slowly rolled up to Gate 19. The girls,
The House on Thursday approved a two-year budget deal that turns off $63 billion in sequester spending cuts, handing a major victory to Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio.). Large majorities in both parties backed the bill in a 332-94 vote. Only 62 Republicans defected despite harsh criticism of the deal by conservative groups that said it did too little to cut spending. Heritage Action, the Club for Growth and other groups said they would negatively score votes in favor of the legislation, but those threats failed to create a stampede against the bill. Instead, members rallied around Boehner, who had strongly pushed
New York — The anchor who might beat Bill O’Reilly gets her eyelash extensions applied one at a time, with tweezers and dabs of glue, about 90 minutes before showtime, right after a motorized gun sprays foundation over her face, neck, shoulders, collarbone and sternum, wiping out a galaxy of light freckles that spreads across her — Let me stop you right there. Photos of the day Uruguay legalizes marijuana, Kiev police pull back from protesters, aging U.S. prison population and more. Tuesday´s Photos of the day Would you write this way about a man? About O’Reilly himself? At least that’s what Megyn Kelly might ask at
In August 2013 I became very sick with what I thought was a cold. After a few days I lost vision in my left eye and I checked into the hospital. I soon found out that what I thought was a summer cold was actually Strep bacteria poisoning my blood stream. The bacteria blinded my left eye, ate a hole through my heart, caused five strokes on both sides of my brain and forced the removal of my prosthetic left knee. Dr. Lee was the surgeon assigned to perform open heart surgery. What was originally scheduled to last four hours ended
The health director who approved the release of President Obama’s birth certificate has died in a plane crash, Hawaiian officials said Thursday. Loretta Fuddy died after the Cessna Grand Caravan aircraft she was travelling on went down shortly after leaving Kalaupapa Airport at around 3:15 p.m. local time (10:15 a.m. ET) on Wednesday. The other eight people on board were rescued, Richard Schuman, president of Makani Kai Air, told NBC News early Thursday, adding that that there was no indication as to why the plane had crashed. Fuddy hit the headlines two years ago when she approved a waiver request allowing Obama to
Fox News host Megyn Kelly has made herself the center of a racial controversy by declaring that Jesus Christ and Santa Claus are white. On Wednesday night, Kelly was responding to an article by Slate writer Aisha Harris, who wrote an article entitled “ Santa Claus Should Not Be a White Man Anymore .” The popular news host told viewers of “The Kelly File,” her hit FNC program, “When I saw this headline, I kinda laughed and I said, ‘Oh, this is ridiculous. Yet another person claiming it´s racist to have a white Santa.’ And by the way, for all you kids
Views of the tea party are at all-time lows in a new poll, as primary challenges to establishment Republicans continue to heat up Washington. Just 30 percent of Americans view the tea party favorably in a new Gallup poll released Wednesday, the movement’s lowest point since Gallup began polling about it during its rise in 2010. Also in a first, a majority of Americans had an unfavorable view of the tea party, at 51 percent. Similar numbers of respondents described themselves as proponents or opponents of the tea party: Twenty-two percent identified themselves as tea party supporters, while 24 percent said they
THE Internet has been abuzz over the spectacle of President Obama and the prime ministers of Britain and Denmark snapping a photo of themselves — a “selfie,” to use the mot du jour — with a smartphone at the memorial service for Nelson Mandela in South Africa on Tuesday. Leaving aside whether it was appropriate, the moment captured the democratization of image making that is a hallmark of our gadget-filled, technologically rich era. Manifestly undemocratic, in contrast, is the way Mr. Obama’s administration — in hypocritical defiance of the principles of openness and transparency he campaigned on — has systematically tried
If you go down on the ice today you´re sure of a big surprise - a rare glimpse of 20 polar bears gorging on a bloody midnight feast. These photographs show a rare cluster of males, females and cubs all dining out on the remains of a whale carcass. They spent a night and a day stripping every last morsel from the mammoth sea creature. Usually Polar bears are solitary and would never tolerate being so close to each other. But with food in plentiful supply and bellies dragging on the floor they seem too lethargic to fight.Wildlife photographer Michal
