Please. Melissa Harris Perry can not relate to the struggles of black inner city kids. She was raised in upper middle class Charlottesville,VA. Her parents were college professors. She went to Wake Forest, Duke, and was a professor at Princeton. And we´re supposed to believe she relates to the average black American? Girl is a community organizer in the Alinsky vein.

Given the amply documented black-on-black homicide rate(and crime rate in general) the remarks by this commentator represent culpable ignorance - or deliberate dishonesty. There is something approaching genuine evil in such mendacity, which has consequences no one can know but which are bound in some instances to be bad.
