Lindsay Lohan’s long list of problems is getting even longer. It’s been reported that on top of her legal woes, she has staggering financial issues too. According to TMZ, the IRS has seized all of Lohan’s money because she owes Uncle Sam $233,904 in unpaid federal taxes for year 2009 and 2010. This comes after news of Charlie Sheen cutting Lindsay a fat $100,000 check aimed at relieving the troubled star’s tax situation.

Comments:
How does a Lindsey Lohan make two million this year? Doing what?

At two-bits a pop, she is going to beholden to Charlie Sheen for a long, long time.

She makes movies and probably gets appearance fees. My question is why she is not in jail? different rules for different people

Lead pipe cinch that she will be filing for bankruptcy pretty soon. She also has 2 mooching parents, girlfriends that play hard to get, and her posse that she has to pay for.

Lohan makes a lot of money showing up for "events". If some designer is launching a new handbag, or perfume, or whatever, they pay Linds a fee to show up.

Nice work if you can get it.

She´s a pathetic mess. Though if you have seen either of her parents for five minutes, it´s not much of a surprise.

# 3 - Bankrupcy does not protect against the IRS. It will be doubly sweet if Obama gets all her cash, cars and houses.

Then the stupid creditors who lend "starlets" money will be out in the cold.

Could not happen to a nicer bunch.

I don´t think we can use the word "posse" on this forum. She is a piece all right.

how about some compassion, guys? (and gals). yes, she is messed up, and has horrific money-grubbing, attention whores of parents to boot. Her every move is watched, scrutinized, and usually cruelly laughed over. She´s old before her time... She´s constantly struggling. She rarely looks truly happy. I pray for her. I pray she has an aunt, older, grounded friend... grandparent... whoever... as long as they´re grounded, lean more conservative, and preferably have some ranch or very private (normal) residence somewhere where this girl can finally relax, lay off the make up and slutty clothes, and just put on a pair of jeans and t shirt and be herself. Perform regular labor/chores, read, write, ride... learn how to feed her body/mind/soul in a positive way... and all the while (hopefully being surrounded by normal, compassionate, non-judgmental Christians. Teach her how to have a glass of wine with dinner w/o it turning into 5. Teach her and cultivate real, deep, safe, and lasting relationships. This would help with everything. That is what she needs: Normalcy, teaching/instruction about the basics of life and relationships, and compassion. And she needs someone to literally lead or take her there because as much as she does try ,she´s just too much of a mess right now to do it herself. I know this post is wordy, but man, it just breaks my heart to see her struggling all the time. I feel like she wants to get out of this cycle but doesn´t seem to know how. Lord, save this young woman. Amen.

If we could get Lindsay, Al Sharpton, Treasury Sec Geithner, Warren Buffet, Snipes, and federal employees to pay their taxes, it would help.

I have not forgotten that she had endorsed Romney. And I figure that that is the only reason the IRS has gone after her.

Menendez, Boehner Clash Over
Hastert Rule for Immigration Reform
PJ Media, by Bill Straub    Original Article

WASHINGTON – Sen. Bob Menendez expressed displeasure Tuesday over House Speaker John Boehner’s decision to withhold consideration of any immigration reform measure that doesn’t have the support of the majority of the Republican caucus. Menendez (D-N.J.), a member of the Gang of Eight, a bipartisan group of upper-chamber lawmakers who have pieced together a delicate immigration compromise, questioned Boehner’s seriousness about addressing the issue “if he is willing to put tea party politics ahead of the will of the American people.” “It is amazing and alarming that Speaker Boehner would allow a minority of House members –

Gang of Eight Bill is a Disaster

The Congressional Budget Office released its analysis of the Gang of Eight’s immigration proposal today, and spinning is in full swing. The fact is, however, that the basic facts can’t be spun: the bill is a disaster. As with Obamacare, the Gang structured its bill to make it “score” artificially well from a budget perspective. They did this by delaying the newly legalized immigrants’ eligibility for most federal welfare benefits for ten years, which takes those benefits outside of the ten-year window that is scored by the CBO. But that cosmetic shift did little to conceal the plan’s baleful effects.

Another Republican Super PAC is jumping into the increasingly nasty Massachusetts Senate battle, going after Democrat Ed Markey’s biggest weakness — his $1.3 million Maryland home. The America Rising PAC, recently founded by Mitt Romney’s former presidential campaign manager, is planning to deliver a letter today to Maryland’s comptroller urging the state to investigate why Markey has never paid state income taxes there despite living in the upscale Chevy Chase suburb for two decades, the Herald has learned. Markey’s residency status has been dogging him throughout his career, ever since the Herald reported in the early 1990s

Are you ready for the great Sarah Palin Revival of 2013? The former Alaska governor and 2008 Republican vice-presidential candidate is back from her exile at Fox News and, like the former child star played by Bette Davis in Whatever Happened to Baby Jane, the self-described Mama Grizzly is ready for a big comeback. But to be blunt, she seems more like a relic of a bygone, little-missed era in showbiz-cum-politics. Indeed, she no more represents a viable future for the GOP than her 76-year-old “angry bird” running mate, John McCain. To give her full credit,

O n July 14, someone somewhere in India will tap out what is being called the world´s last telegram. India´s state-owned telecom company, Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited, has been holding out as other countries around the world retire their antiquated telegraph services. Now, after delaying the move for two years, the business operating what is considered to be the world´s last telegraph service is finally ready to pull the plug, saying telegrams are no longer commercially viable in the age of digital communications. India´s telegram service had been upgraded in recent years — clerks now type up messages on computers

Unionized local employees repeatedly harassed and intimidated non-union workers of a private disaster cleanup firm that won a government contract to restore Long Island, New York, in the wake of Hurricane Sandy. The vice president of the union even made threats against the wife and kids of one of the workers. That worker felt it necessary to call the police and pursue other security measures to protect his family, a source told The Daily Caller News Foundation. A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, lied to the Senate when he said there was never a “stand down” order during the Benghazi attack on Sept. 11, 2012. “What was fascinating is that he explained his lie to them,” Joe DiGenova, an attorney representing one of the whistleblowers, told CNSNews.com. “He actually said they were sent to Tripoli. They were needed in Benghazi,” said DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney, now with the Washington firm of DiGenova & Toensing.

Likening religious schools to segregation--a racist system that forced blacks to attend different schools and use different facilities than whites in the American South--President Barack Obama told a town hall meeting for youth in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Monday that there should not be Catholic and Protestant schools because such schools cause division. "Because issues like segregated schools and housing, lack of jobs and opportunity--symbols of history that are a source of pride for some and pain for others--these are not tangential to peace; they’re essential to it,"

Listening to Barack Obama give his speech in Belfast on Monday, it was hard not to stifle a yawn. I kept waiting for the part when he would say something interesting, but, about three quarters of the way through, realised it wasn’t going to come. Judging from television pictures some of his young audience felt the same, after the initial rush of euphoria of receiving the rock star president in their midst had passed. This is not surprising, for we had already heard this number about the inspirational role of the Northern Ireland peace process and the Emerald Isle’s

Celebrity chef Paula Deen admitted in a recorded deposition to telling racist jokes, using the N-word, and planning a slavery-themed wedding, according to multiple reports. The May 17 deposition where she made the alleged admissions is part of a $1.2 million lawsuit brought by Lisa Jackson, the former manager of a Savannah, Georgia, restaurant run by Deen and her brother Bubba Hiers. Jackson alleges in the suit that Deen used the N-word at the restaurant and that Hiers sexually harassed her. According to the reports, in the deposition, Deen replied “Yes, of course,”

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

Marco Rubio. Paul Ryan. The IRS. Illegal immigration. And fraud to the tune of billions.. Now there’s a combustible mix. Let’s start with the IRS, illegal immigration and fraud. We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.
