| Vienna - A leaked diagram suggesting that Iran is pursuing a nuclear weapon is scientifically flawed, diplomats working with the UN nuclear agency conceded Friday. However they insisted that it still supports suspicions that Tehran is trying to build a bomb, especially when combined with other documents that remain secret. The Associated Press reported Tuesday, citing the document leaked by officials from a country critical of Iran’s atomic program, that it indicated that Iranian scientists had run computer simulations for a nuclear weapon that would produce more than triple the

Comments:
The consesus amomg nuclear experts is that the data and the graph are fraudulent "intelligence" information. Nevertheless, the diplomats, as quoted in the article, assert that the flawed data supports their claim that Iran is developing nuclear weapons. Later on in the article, the diplomats blame the Iranians for producing the wrong information. Perthaps it would be easier for the diplomats to admit that they were duped.

Since 1979...Iran and its radical mob have been hell-bent on Nuke weapons and going a overtly and covertly Terrorist rogue state. One day soon...Israel will hit them hard and in the same hour the US will join in with massive air raids. The Targets will be Iran´s war-making assets " en-masse ". It won´t be easy and won´t be pretty but time has run out...

You really need a leaked report to confirm Iran is working on a nuke?
I really don´t think home grown Iranians can figure it out but they could have Russian or Pakistani advisers helping out.

Uncritical, fear-mongering media propaganda is far too common to take note of each time it appears, but sometimes, what is produced is so ludicrous that its illustrative value should not be ignored. Such is the case with a highly trumpeted Associated Press "exclusive" from Tuesday which claims in its red headline to have discovered evidence of "Iran Working on Bomb". (Snip) It is a "graph" which AP says was "leaked" to it by "officials from a country critical of Iran´s atomic program to bolster their arguments that Iran´s nuclear program must be halted before it produces a weapon"

Barbara Starr, CNN's Pentagon reporter (more accurately known as: the Pentagon's reporter at CNN), has an exciting exclusive today. Exclusively relying upon "three senior officials" in the Obama administration (all anonymous, needless to say), she claims that "two Iranian Su-25 fighter jets fired on an unarmed U.S. Air Force Predator drone in the Persian Gulf last week," while "the drone was in international airspace east of Kuwait... engaged in routine maritime surveillance." The drone was not hit, but, says CNN, "the incident raises fresh concerns within the Obama administration about Iranian military aggression in crucial (Persian) Gulf oil shipping lanes."

A member of the Iranian parliament's National Security and Foreign Policy Commission stressed on Sunday that the recent allegation about a halt in Iran's 20 percent uranium enrichment activities is not true. "This claim is unreal because the 20 percent enriched uranium is needed for Tehran's (Research) Reactor and its medical purposes," Kazzem Jalali said on Sunday. He stressed that Iran considers uranium enrichment as its inalienable right, and added, "In line with defending our nuclear rights, we believe that uranium enrichment is our inalienable right."

WASHINGTON - There were new questions Saturday night concerning if anyone in the White House was aware of the IRS´ targeting of conservative groups. Inspector General Russell George said he informed a deputy at the Treasury Department in June of 2012 about the probe into the IRS. The Treasury Department confirmed the timeline but said they did not know the details of the investigation until last week.(Snip)Marcus Owens ran the tax-exempt division at the IRS for 10 years. Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate."
