| Feeding the dolphins at Sea World was a dream come true for 8-year-old Jillian Thomas, until one of the marine mammals bit into her arm, nearly dragging her into the water. Jillian´s mother took video of her daughter, who says dolphins are her favorite animal, feeding them at the theme park´s Dolphin Cove. Jillian was in the middle of her second visit of the day to the friendly looking animals when she made a crucial mistake, lifting a small plate of dolphin food in the air out of excitement, something the park warns people not to do. FTA: The Thomas family said it has no plans to sue Sea World, however they are urging the park to increase the age limit for children who are allowed to feed the animals.
So because your daughter disobeys the instructions given her, you want to punish all young children from this wonderful experience.

I have to side with the Dolphin in this case. He/she did exactly what I would have felt like doing if somebody messed with my food. It is a huge no no to withhold food from a hungry anything and especially a semi wild anything.

At my last job I got into an arguement with a corporate legal secretary who was going to let her pre-teen daughter swim with the dolphins at a sear park in California. I told her that what happens when a 300-400 pound dolphin accidentally swims into her. I also told her that dolphins kill sharks by running into them. I do not think it registered at all in that dimwit.

Presumably the dolphin could have snapped off the arm and swallowed it, and clearly did not. Also apparently Sea World was quite aware that dolphins are smart enough to realize the arm is raising the food and have probably done this before.
I was accosted by aggressive pelicans begging food on the Monterrey pier, years ago. Pelican doesn´t have much in the way of intelligence, but be a tourist and expose a tray of sardines too openly and it goes for the gold. There were no warning signs, nobody was injured, no lawsuits were filed but a bill was filled.

THey say they aren´t going to sue, but just give it some time, the little girl will have pain and suffering and fear of dolphins so I´m sure there is a lawyer waiting in the wings.

An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.
