| Watergate Judge John J. Sirica aided the prosecution in pursuing the White House connection to the Democratic headquarters break-in by providing the special prosecutor information from a probation report in which one of the burglars said he was acting under orders from top Nixon administration officials, according to once-secret documents released Friday by the National Archives. One newly public transcript of an in-chambers meeting between Sirica, the U.S. District Court judge in charge of the case, and then-Special Prosecutor Archibald Cox in July 1973 shows the judge revealed secret

Why is this newsworthy after all these years? Obama´s high crimes, misdemeanors, and abuses of power make Nixon look like a kindergarten prankster. Fast & Furious. Illegal Overseas Campaign Contributions. Misuse of secret FBI files on enemies. Benghazi. Arms shipments to Libya, Egypt, ans Syria without congressional approval. Failure to support and defend the Laws of the United States regarding illegal immigrants and DOMA. Election fraud and theft. etc., etc

John Dean was the liar in the mess along with his slutty wife. He lied and Nixon had to resign or the stupid sirica would have had him in jail. It was a mess and a true sign of what dems and their minions like to do. I don´t believe a word they say.

Hillary Clinton had 900 FBI files illegally. What they pulled was a lot worse than Watergate. Arkancides? Renting out the Lincoln bedroom? Cheesy.
What about Scooter Libby and Valerie Plame?
Justice depends on who you are. Presstitutes are only interested in one side of the aisle.

Because rehashing Watergate is so much more fun than questions about Benghazi. At least it´s more fun for the criminals, liars and thugs in the Democratic Party, the State Department and the media.

Watergate will be forgotten someday -- or at least, allowed to collect the dust and cobwebs that that relatively trivial scandal deserves.
But alas, along with that other stupid Boomer event "Woodstock," Watergate is going to be brought up nostalgically ad nauseum ... until all the narcissistic Boomer reporters have died off.

MSM must have whined about nuthin to report on, so the WH had one of their academia miscreants get this for them. Sweet.
I guess the MSM started worrying that they can´t win Pulitzers for reporting on how awesome Obozo´s vacations, hilarious jokes & Mooches wardrobe are.

Guess its getting harder for the MSM to avoid Benghazi if they have to resort to this.

#6 and #16 - refresh my memory on John and Maureen Dean. I recall G. Gordon Liddy being sued by John Dean in the late 1990s, I think. During the trial´s discovery, I think GGL uncovered the fact that the reason for the burglary was to retrieve documents about Mrs. Dean´s previous "career" as a high-priced call girl. Am I correct in that recollection?

With approximately one-third of congressional committees preoccupied with investigating Obama corruption – from Benghazi-gate, to the IRS scandal, to Obamacare propaganda – the First Family might be tempted to escape to some far away location for vacation. As Judicial Watch knows all too well, this is something the Obamas have done with some frequency since taking office in 2009, and largely on the taxpayers’ dime. JW has been the leading investigative force on the Obama’s taxpayer-funded luxury trips, using the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) to get ahold of records about the costs of this abuse

WASHINGTON — The Obama administration’s efforts to raise private money to carry out the president’s health care law have provoked such a strong partisan uproar that potential donors have become skittish about contributing, according to several people involved in the fund-raising program. White House officials said they did not sign off on the fund-raising calls made by Kathleen Sebelius, the secretary of health and human services, but were generally aware that she would be seeking support from outside groups. Two House committees have begun investigating the solicitations. Five senior Republicans from the Senate and the House

Fire-breathing political advocates from the both sides of America´s political divide have issued new calls for Barack Obama to fire his attorney general, Eric Holder. LIberal radio show host Bill Press weighed in on the air Friday, and then in a series of tweets, while Texas Senator John Cornyn put a target on Holder´s back during a Sunday television appearance. ´I think it’s past time for him to go and for the president to appoint somebody who the public can have confidence in,´ the ultra-conservative Cornyn said on the CBS show Face The Nation. ´You know, I´ve lost confidence

Tomorrow, a tiny sliver of the city´s residents will look at a scroll of names you´ve probably never heard and grant to a few the power to sentence criminals, negotiate divorces and adjudicate lawsuits for years to come. "This is what I call a committeeman´s election," said 33rd Ward Democratic Leader Donna Aument, of Kensington, referring to the power that members of the city´s Democratic committees wield in off-year elections. Her daughter, Marnie Aument Loughrey, is running for Traffic Court. Turnout is expected to be exceptionally low for the primary, meaning the several thousand votes that the local Democratic machine

The usually-cocksure Jay Carney has rarely appeared so uncomfortable. “What I can tell you is that this president believes strongly in the First Amendment and is a strong defender of the First Amendment,” Carney insisted to a packed house of angry reporters last Tuesday afternoon. The White House had just been freshly stung by news that the Department of Justice had secretly raided the phone records of up to 100 Associated Press reporters, looking to identify the news organization’s private sources. He believes strongly in the need for the press to be unfettered in its pursuit of investigative journalism,”

What did President Obama do on the evening of 9/11/12 when our men were under attack in Benghazi? The invaluable Andrew McCarthy reminds us that Obama and Secretary Clinton had a 10:00 p.m. phone call of which many (including, I think, Chris Wallace) have lost sight. This morning when Wallace asked Obama aide Dan Pfeiffer what Obama was up to that evening, Pfeiffer declared the line of inquiry “offensive.” Translation: Obama and his minions would prefer to “move on” and are warning the likes of FNC off:(Snip for video)The Weekly Standard’s Daniel Halper has posted the rush transcript

WASHINGTON - There were new questions Saturday night concerning if anyone in the White House was aware of the IRS´ targeting of conservative groups. Inspector General Russell George said he informed a deputy at the Treasury Department in June of 2012 about the probe into the IRS. The Treasury Department confirmed the timeline but said they did not know the details of the investigation until last week.(Snip)Marcus Owens ran the tax-exempt division at the IRS for 10 years. He said it isn´t difficult to figure out who´s doing what at the agency.

PRESIDENT OBAMA: You are the mantle of Frederick Douglass and Booker T. Washington and Ralph Bunche and Langston Hughes and George Washington Carver and Ralph Abernathy and Thurgood Marshall and, yes, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. These men were many things to many people and they knew full well the role that racism played in their life. It began in earnest last Friday. A flash mob of latte drinking, tofu eating media that has done its best to quell, rather than fan the flames of truth, turned on one of their own. Jay Carney lay bludgeoned at the base of the podium, a victim of friendly fire. Ironically, the attack was reminiscent of the one in Benghazi he has repeatedly denied the Administration he represents bears any responsibility for. “Changed twelve times?!” came the cries. And with good reason. We were misled; no, lied to.

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." Lew said that while President Obama is willing to discuss plans to reduce the nation´s deficit with Congress, those talks must be kept separate from any effort to raise the nation´s debt cap.

Washington – Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-MO, issued a video statement Friday in response to reports that the Internal Revenue Service unfairly targeted conservative nonprofit groups. (Snip) “There’s a reason Lady Justice wears a blindfold in America. That is because in America, we don’t apply the law based on who you are, who you know, or what you believe. We apply the law equally.” “We should not only fire the head of the IRS, which has occurred, but we’ve got to go down the line and find every single person who had anything to do with this and make sure

So actually asked CNN´s Candy Crowley of her guest Sen.
