The federal government has now borrowed more money during Barack Obama’s time as president than it did in the period lasting from the time President George Washington took the oath office until July 2, 2001, more than five months into the first term of President George W. Bush. At the close of business on Jan. 20, 2009, when President Barack Obama was inaugurated, the national debt stood at $10,626,877,048,913.08, according to the Treasury. At the close of business this Thursday, it stood at $16,323,083,449,604.98. That means the debt has increased $5,696,206,400,691.90 during Obama’s presidency.

If all his mentors wanted to defeat/destroy the USA, maybe that is his objective. Cliff= massive military cuts (flexibility after the election...US in weakened position in Middle East/ Muslim Bro´hood takes over. Eliminate debt ceiling....collapse capitalist society. Is it just me or are they trying to bring Chaos?

yawn…who cares? where´s my free phone, what´s on american idol, is my student load forgiven?
unless and until these headlines are on the alphabet networks, the comedy "news" shows and tabloids in the supermarkets, AND how it will affect people in their pocketbooks, not one person other than the minority (conservatives, libertarians and some republicans) gives a damn.

It bespeaks the facile and shallow nature of the society which elected him and allows his commie buddies, convict friends and union thugs pals to hold offices for which they have no credentials except corruption.
He himself has no credentials, no law license, no history, a dead French expat´s Social Ssecurity number from a state in which he has never resided,is fiscally illiterate, and as they used to say in Texas, "Beholdin´ to them what brung him.", who, I imagine we as adults can discern for ourselves.
It results from years of Education Dept methodolgy, teaching our children to feel good about themselves and to hate industry....much like kids rocking back and forth at the madrassa...."memorize it, don´t think.".
We were warned over and over and kept sending the same corrupt people back to ´govern´ us.

The Obamboozler hasn´t borrowed a nickel.
If anybody thinks it´s going to get paid back yer stupid!
This is nothing more than legalized looting that is going to end very badly.

We do not control the message at all. The state run media immediately marginalizes, ostracizes and maligns anyone who dares speak to this destruction.

If we go over the cliff would anyone notice?

To really scare you, add the debt borrowed since January 2007, when obama became a member of Congress.

IT is time to crash the system. I can´t wait for when the moochers go at the first of the month to swipe their EBT cards to get more free food and the cards don´t work. Look for looting next (that is all these miserable moochers/Democrats are good for) and then look for them to take over a bus and come to your neighborhood to take your food, rape your wife, kill your children, and take everything you have worked hard to own. What are you going to do about it? It is coming soon. Prepare. Arm yourself. Buy every single bit of ammo you can afford now. Stock up. Get ready for the Great Rumble. Demography is destiny.

How does he feel about that fact? Where does he want it to lead? Inquiring minds want to know.

0bama does not care how much he spends. Look for him to extend our Debt Limit to Infinity ... all by Executive Order. After all, He Won.

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew was told about a government watchdog´s investigation of the Internal Revenue Service in mid-March but did not learn the full extent of its findings until they were released earlier this month. Lew told the Senate Banking Committee on Tuesday that he first learned about the possible problems during a "getting to know you" meeting with the Treasury´s inspector general for tax administration, J. Russell George, on March 15. At that meeting, George ran down a number of items for Lew, including the potential for "troubling findings" in regards to the agency´s handling of tax-exempt applications

On the heels of news that the Obama administration Department of Justice was spying on reporters at the Associated Press, Monday brought the startling disclosure by the Washington Post that the DOJ had also targeted Fox reporter James Rosen for surveillance in an effort to plug up leaks. Additionally, the New Yorker’s Ryan Lizza obtained the full application for a search warrant of Rosen’s personal email account, in which the DOJ accused him of being “an aider and abettor and/or co-conspirator.” As Lizza put it, “Rosen was not charged with any crime, but it is unprecedented for the government,

WASHINGTON— The man who led the Internal Revenue Service when it was giving extra scrutiny to tea party and other conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status told Congress on Tuesday that he knew little about what was happening while he was still commissioner. Douglas Shulman, who vacated his position last November when his five-year term expired, told the Senate Finance Committee he didn´t learn all the facts until he read last week´s report by a Treasury inspector general confirming the targeting strategy. In his first public remarks since the story broke, Shulman said: "I agree this is

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) demanded information about conservative groups’ college-aged interns, prompting outrage from one of the country’s top conservative activist organizations and leading one former intern to wonder whether his family’s pizza parlor would be endangered. The IRS requested, in an audit, the names of the conservative Leadership Institute’s 2008 interns, as well as specific information about their internship work and where the interns were employed in 2012, according to a document request the IRS sent to the Leadership Institute, dated February 14, 2012. The IRS requested: “Copies of applications for internships and summer programs; to include:

Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) blasted his colleagues on Tuesday for holding a hearing to examine Apple´s methods for avoiding taxes. "I frankly think the committee should apologize to Apple," Paul said during a hearing of the Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations. Paul said he was offended by the "tone and tenor of the hearing." "I´m offended by the spectacle of dragging in executives from an American company that is not doing anything illegal," Paul said. The subcommittee released a report on Monday that found that Apple has avoided billions of dollars in taxes in recent years

The outgoing acting commissioner of the Internal Revenue Service and his predecessor denied Tuesday that they misled Congress about the targeting of conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status, telling a Senate panel that they were not aware of the practice when it started. Appearing before the Senate Finance Committee, Steven T. Miller, the acting commissioner who submitted his resignation under pressure last week, and Douglas Shulman, a George W. Bush appointee who headed the IRS from March 2008 to November 2012, also rejected the idea that political partisanship played a role in singling out conservative nonprofits for heightened scrutiny.

VATICAN CITY — Is Pope Francis an exorcist? The question has been swirling ever since Francis laid his hands Sunday on the head of a young man after celebrating Mass in St. Peter’s Square. The young man heaved deeply a half-dozen times, shook, and he then slumped in his wheelchair as Francis prayed over him. The television station of the Italian bishops’conference said it had surveyed exorcists, who agreed there was “no doubt” that Francis either performed an exorcism or a prayer to free the man from the devil. The Vatican was more cautious Tuesday. In a statement,

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

Stuart Varney said this morning on "Varney & Co." that one of his producers was given a questionnaire with some surprisingly intrusive questions on it when he switched doctors. One of the questions was whether he/she was concerned about unsecured weapons in the home. Another asked whether he/she was "in a relationship in which you have been physically hurt or are you afraid of your partner?" Judge Andrew Napolitano explained that the question about guns comes out of a post-Sandy Hook executive order by President Obama, but it will be required under Obamacare. Varney expressed amazement

While many Americans were tuned into news coverage of the massive damage from tornadoes ravaging the state of Oklahoma, Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse took to the Senate floor to rail against his Republican colleagues for denying the theory of anthropogenic global warming. Whitehouse spent 15 minutes chastising GOP senators and justified his remarks by alluding to states that seek federal assistance in the wake of natural disasters. “So, you may have a question for me,” Whitehouse said. “Why do you care?
