Hillary Clinton no fan of Susan
Rice, prefers Kerry for State

Chicago Sun-Times, by Michael Sneed

Original Article

The Rice Report...The big question: Who would Secretary of State Hillary Clinton like to get her job? It ain’t embattled U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice, who is dealing with the way she handled the terrorist attack in Benghazi, Libya, that led to the killing of U.S. Ambassador Chris Stevens and three other Americans. Sneed is told if Hillary had to choose between Rice and U.S. Sen. John Kerry, who is head of the Senate’s Foreign Relations Committee, she would prefer Kerry. “Hillary is not close to Rice, who is tough — but is not the friendliest person,” said a top White House source.

Rice is not fit to be the SOC and Kerry isn´t fit to be anything except imprisoned for treason!

Sounds like Rice would not put out for Hellary.

Hillary, you are such a racist!!

There´s still two branches of the Democratic Party... Rice is in the far left Obama branch and Hillary is in the left Clinton branch, even though she is not so secretly more radical than Bubba.

Goofy no fan of Donald Duck, prefers Daffy for State.

Same thing. Except cartoons are more sensible than these clowns.

Any conventional government position is now symbolic with Obama taking charge of everything.Rice just figures it´s another steppingstone job to no where. If a republican had big holdings in oil companies, they should just stay in bed.Doing business with Iran isn´t even a big deal with Rice.

But one thing we´ve seen about Obama is he´s loyal to his allies and Rice is a huge one.Hard to see him throwing her under the bus despite all the negatives.

There´s a word for women like Rice who are tough and unfriendly but I´m not allowed to say it on the air.

Reading this ´stuff´ leaves me with the feeling of living in an alternate universe. The following line from A Few Good Men comes to mind---"And the hits just keep on comin´!"

Today´s headlines: Democrats gone wild!

#8, there´s been so many betrayals, it´s hard to keep track. I suppose Barack´s grandma and Rev. Wright don´t qualify as his allies. Neither could offer him anything for free or any polticial advantage, so under the bus they went.

Reply 11 - Posted by: ebgodard, 12/1/2012 7:44:04 AM     (No. 9042571)

This is EXACTLY what Obama wants. He is using Rice to play the race card and get Congress all exercised. He´ll pull her nomination and put in Kerry. He thinks the right won´t have the stomach to try and bring Kerry down because of his atrocious behavior during Viet Nam. Done and done.

I´d be behind the Swift Boaters if they weigh in on Kerry; however, I´ve been thinking about this a little.

If Rice isn´t nominated but Kerry is, his seat in Mass. would be open. Of course, Zippy would just appoint someone to fill Kerry´s seat until an election is held. But it might give Mass. enough time to get a good candidate - even Scott Brown to run an effective campaign.

As I said, I´m torn. I think Kerry just wants to fly around to countries and have people think he´s a big wig. Maybe he just wants to get away from Thereza. Remember he would be in line for the Presidency which is a negative to his appointment. As I said, I´m torn.

Hillary may see Rice as potential competition. Kerry is competition for no one.

On a good day, Hillary´s reptilian brain-stem is able to realize that against a black woman with four years of success as the 4th in line for the presidency, she will have zero chance of winning. Where success is defined as: no major trainwrecks the MSM cannot hide.

Abandoning State Tax System

California should abandon its current tax system and charge everyone the same rate. That’s the proposal made by famed economist Arthur Laffer in a report released Thursday that is highly critical of California’s business climate. Laffer,(Snip) said in an interview that moving to a flat tax rate of about 6.5 percent would reduce complexity over the tax system and free up money for businesses to invest. He also said the rate would be revenue-neutral at full employment, meaning the state would collect the same revenue as it does under the current system. Otherwise, under our current progressive system

Biden Praises Jews, Goes Too Far,

Joe Biden spoke last night in honor of Jewish American Heritage Month. Biden has long, deep ties to the Jewish community — Obama actually picked him in 2008 in part to reassure skittish Jewish Democrats. Biden indeed offered fulsome, heartfelt praise in his remarks, before wandering into highly uncomfortable terrain and delivering a speech that is likely to be quoted by anti-Semites for years and decades to come. (It’s already the subject of excited discussion among the white supremacist community.)

Grief and politics don´t mix. When raw, aching grief and the dirtiest kind of politics meet, a hot volcano of pain and outrage erupts that is unstoppable. But it is necessary.(Snip)before Benghazi, there was Extortion 17, the call sign of a special operations mission in Afghanistan on Aug. 6, 2011. Three months after the strike on Osama bin Laden, 30 Americans -- including 15 from the bin Laden strike-team unit, Navy SEAL Team 6, and two other SEALs -- were killed in the costliest single-day loss for the U.S. military in the Afghanistan war, and the largest SEAL loss

A faulty steering apparatus may bring an early end to NASA’s Kepler space telescope, a $600 million tool in the space agency’s quest for life elsewhere in the universe. Kepler is the first NASA mission capable of finding Earth-size planets in or near the habitable zone, the range of distance from a star where the surface temperature of an orbiting planet might be suitable for liquid water. Launched in 2009, it has discovered thousands of such planets, including a pair just 1,200 light years away.(Snip) But yesterday, Kepler’s mission ran into trouble.

The IRS´s Nonprofit Helper

The Internal Revenue Service last year supplied a left-leaning nonprofit charity with confidential information about conservative organizations, which the charity disseminated to the public, ProPublica reported yesterday. The charity in question was ProPublica itself. We should acknowledge that "left-leaning" is our characterization; ProPublica describes itself in its own tax filings as "entirely non-partisan and non-ideological." ProPublica is legally obliged to be nonpartisan, for it enjoys tax-exempt status under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, which means that contributions to it are tax-deductible.

If it is proven that the IRS thwarted some groups from obtaining tax-exempt status in fear that their traditional or conservative messages might hurt the 2012 Obama campaign (especially if it did so under pressure from White House-affiliated operatives), and if it is proven that the Obama administration deliberately ignored warnings about lax security at the Benghazi consulate, missed real opportunities to send help, or deliberately massaged intelligence reports in order to mislead the pre-election public about the true nature of Benghazi in order to further a false campaign narrative of a near dormant al-Qaeda

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

Anthony Weiner’s New York mayoral candidacy was only made more improbable today after he revealed that he visited a Houston psychiatric facility following his resignation from Congress in 2011. Haunted by scandal surrounding his sexually explicit online communications with women, the Democratic former congressman sought treatment for his compulsive behavior from mental health professionals at the Gabbard Center. According to its website, the facility provides “3-day outpatient psychiatric evaluation,” particularly to “professionals who are in personal or professional crises.” While Weiner did not disclose

MARK LEVIN: So why didn´t Chairman Issa hold an investigative hearing a year ago? Why didn´t Chairman Camp, all Republicans, hold an investigative hearing a year ago, and all the other tripping over themselves right now? I´ll tell you why. Because the establishment Republicans, the RINO Republicans, despise the Tea Party. They despise the conservative movement. We exist to be managed, to be shuttled to the polling place, to vote for their candidates. The Karl Roves of the world, and all the rest of them. They fight us in the primaries, they fight us at the grassroots.

Fox News chief Roger Ailes has sent a memo to his subordinates at the leading cable news network. He sent this memo to his staff today in connection with the federal investigation into an alleged leak to Fox News reporter James Rosen, a story that the Washington Post’s Ann E. For all those who wonder what it is about Ailes that endears his people to him — and that makes him such a good interviewee for any media reporter lucky enough to get an audience

WASHINGTON —In a dramatic departure from existing White House procedures, President Obama requested today that his staff start cc’ing him on stuff. “Look, I know a lot of you think I’m really busy and you don’t want to bother me,” the President reportedly told his staff in an Oval Office meeting. “But cc me anyway. It’s good for me to keep up on what’s going on around here.” “It’s not good when I turn on the news and they’re talking about something at the White House and I’m like, whoa, when did that happen?”
