| Whatever the CEOs of various Wall Street companies discussed with Barack Obama Wednesday night was off limits to reporters trying to ascertain the facts. When the CEOs left the White House, reporters tried to shout questions about the impending fiscal cliff at Goldman Sachs CEO Lloyd Blankfein, but the White House deployed three uniformed Secret Service officers to prevent reporters from interacting with the CEOs. Even camera crews were rebuffed in their attempt to erect stand-up locations for evening news pictures. Blankfein did appear on CNBC and CNN before he left the White House,

The abuse of power by this regime is absolutely stunning. It shouldn´t be surprising since co-president Jarrett has Secret Service protection that has never been done before for someone in her position.

Wow.
Well, keep on voting for the Dimms and the Repugs. Doesn´t matter who is in the White House. Wall Street always buys its influence.
Maybe we can all agree that we need to elect people who are not in the political/finance class. I do not believe that people who are not in the politicla/finance class exist much in the Democratic and Republican Parties in Washington, or want to now be Democrats or Republicans.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. One of two men allegedly being questioned in connection with the Boston Marathon bombings was shot and killed by an FBI agent in Florida on Tuesday, (Snip)A friend of Ibragim Todashev said he and Todashev were being investigated as part of the Boston bombings. He said Todashev, 27, knew bombing suspect Tamerlan Tsarnaev because both were MMA fighters. The man claims he and Todashev were interviewed by the FBI for nearly three hours on Tuesday. The friend said he left the interview, and when he came back to the apartment he found that there had been a shooting.

The fact that this bit of information was conveyed to the protesters by a Department of Homeland Security officer who was also in attendance. On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.
