A Jeb Bush candidacy would ensure the death of the GOP.

We need another Bush as much as we need another Clinton Presidency, but I fear we will get Hillary because we must have the first woman President. The only thing to disrupt it will be if Bill keeps calling his old girlfriends and rape victims - trying to hook up and Hillary finally takes him out with an ashtray or frying pan. That is our only hope!

I swear I will vote for Obama before Jeb Bush. Just don´t care any more. Republicans: just don´t go there.

Plus, the ultimate loser is anyone who has the last name of Bush, Christie, Santorium, Gingrich, or is over the age of fifty-five.

The Bush name is at least linked with tax cuts for us peons, and Saddam Hussein with his chemical weapons of mass destruction is gone (if only we had pulled out at that point). As it is, probably nothing can overcome BDS.

#10. I will no longer vote for any Republican. (The only Democrat I have ever voted for was Jimmy Carter. There are many besides me who shared that mental lapse. None before or since - none again ever.) I´m done. If a candidate wants my vote, he or she needs to align with a new party that reflects my values and interests.

#3 - the GOP died in 2012. They won´t realize it until 2014 when the Dems take back the House and no one cares about their candidates. I´ve already called and told my Congressman that he shouldn´t bother to run in 2014 if he votes to raise any taxes and not cut lots of spending.

If it votes like a Dem, the we might as well vote for the Dem.

If the GOP can´t come up with something they stand for, instead of just things they talk about, then I don´t think it matters who they run. Right now the only things I associate with the GOP are perpetual warfare and preaching about social issues that are none of the government´s business to begin with. The Bushes are the epitome of this. The fact that they are even talking about running another one of them convinces me the GOP is finished.

#32, as one who thought Romney the best of the available candidates and admire the man a great deal - I guess that makes me an "enthusiast" - I´ll withhold judgement until I see who else is running.

A solid conservative would be very welcome, but he or she would have to be someone capable of moving this dumbed down electorate and able to withstand the MSM´s frantic proctological exam.

If you know anybody like that then convince him or her to run. That would be a good starting point. And make sure he or she has access to a king [bleep]load of money and extensive organization before even considering moving to the starting gate.
