| The Fox News Channel showed its muscle to finish out the 2012 election cycle. For the month of November, the cable news channel topped its competition, with its daytime programming having record months. According to data from Nielsen Media Research, all three major cable news channels were up significantly from this time a year ago.

Until more of the American people stop watching ABC, NBC and CBS and stop reading their local newspapers we will not be able to recover as a nation. The bulk of the population simply are unaware of what is going on due to the continued cover-up and omissions by the media. Was at my quilting group yesterday at church. One liberal member mentioned how she thought it outrageous the way our veterans are treated. She specifically mentioned Congress. Clearly she had heard nothing about Obama proposing drastic cuts to benefits for them. I mentioned how sad it was that Obama´s nominee for either State and/or Defense had testified before Congress that Viet Nam veterans cut off ears and noses and raped civilians and how he threw what he claimed were his medals over the fence at the Capital. My fellow quilter looked perplexed. She then asked if I was referring to Senator Kerry. I said yes. She then said nothing more. She loves Elizabeth Warren BTW and we live in Virginia.

I think we can compete with the alphabet watchers. Could it be that the people who are totally devoid of and seemingly unable to comprehend political information are the ones who beat us at the polls?

So, more people than ever are watching Fox. And we still lost.
What does this mean? Time for some serious soul searching. Perhaps our message is too much anti-liberal and not enough about solving real problems.
Darrell Issa demands documents from Eric holder - because it´s his job - and Obama voters don´t give a rip snort! Sean Hannity should have been interviewing the Mexican families of those people whose loved ones were killed by the guns that Eric Holder sent to Mexico. Put a face on this tragedy. Michael Moore would have done as much and UniVision would not have ignored this!
Let´s face reality here. We care about the people who voted for Obama, but they don´t know this. Mitt Romney would have made their lives better. But they don´t understand how! We need to change our message. We have to live with these people and Fox winning the ratings war isn´t accomplishing a goll darn thing for any of us.

# 3, I completely agree with you. There have been so many years of what I call "confrontational programming" @ the Fox News Cable. Most times their programming is similar, if not identical to the "View".
The fact that they´re # 1 does not mean their viewership is anymore informed. Just stroked like their viewers are pet poodles.
Well no more! FNC,if there were curious leaders over there, would be covering the US Senate and reporting what Reid is contemplating, what mccain,Graham are pontificating about, how the abolition of the fillibuster is pending, how the Senate will become like the House, depriving some Senators of equal representation for their smaller States.
Decimating our military? FNC needs to consider the Citizens who chance to tune in,instead of making their shows like Dancing with the Stars.

IMHO, It seems to me, that some who presume to speak about what is going on at FNC do not. Too much "Anti-Liberal" talk? Seriously? I guess that would depend on what some think of the drumbeat of "Anti-Conservative" networks which flood the airwaves 24/7. If they actually watched FNC, rather than taking cheap shots at the only network that even tries to balance out the rest of them, they would know that discussions about what is going on with Congress and with obama are going on most of the time. THAT is why FNC stays #1.

Our side loses because they do not know how to throw bricks when the d`Rats are throwing mud. We have truth and facts on our side, but sorry presenters to get the MSG across, they act like they don`t know how to talk to the people...or how to explain anything! The main reason that the left wins elections (besides stealing them)is they use languish that "most" ignorant, low class, criminals and UnAmerican people can understand. This is it in a nut shell: We Rats will GIVE you FREE things and the Republicans will take away your free things and stop you from getting (anything). As far as FN I don`t watch anymore, can`t stand to see the faces of the evil left .

Earlier this week, Roger L. Simon of Pajamas Media broke a story with shocking revelations, contending that slain U.S. ambassador Chris Stevens was in Benghazi on September 11 to buy back Stinger missiles from al-Qaeda groups that had been originally provided to them by the U.S. State Department. Simon cited two former U.S. diplomats: Stevens’ mission in Benghazi, they will say, was to buy back Stinger missiles from al-Qaeda groups issued to them by the State Department, not by the CIA.

New emails between Internal Revenue Service officials released Wednesday as part of congressional testimony give a better view of who knew of the screening of conservative tea party groups and the search terms being used, and when they knew it. The documents also show a bit of the process the IRS used in such situations, but do not answer the question at the heart of the controversy – who made the decision to search for such groups and why. The string of emails is from early June 2011, sparked by a request from Holly Paz,

WASHINGTON — As they watched President Obama lumber into controversy over mandating contraception coverage last winter, some White House staffers were banging their heads against the wall. The lawyers had done it again. Tensions between operatives and the lawyers hired to protect them from legal trouble are a constant in politics. But as President Obama’s beleaguered aides look for someone to blame in an escalating series of scandals, former political, communications, and policy officials complained to BuzzFeed that one culprit is a balance that has tilted too far toward the lawyer, allowing avoidable controversies to boil over.

With Anthony Weiner about to pop into the race for mayor, one of his Democratic rivals demanded yesterday that he pony up $350,000 for the cost of the election required to fill his hastily vacated congressional seat two years ago. Weiner resigned under pressure in June 2011 after it was disclosed he was tweeting lewd pictures of himself to women he’d met on the Internet. In the special election held that September to replace him, Republican Bob Turner pulled off a stunning upset victory over Democrat David Weprin. Taxpayers were stuck with the $350,000 election tab,

After a week of revelations about government spying on reporters and the Internal Revenue Service targeting conservatives, most voters feel “like the federal government has gotten out of control and is threatening the basic civil liberties of Americans.” At the same time, a new Fox News poll finds disapproval of President Obama’s job performance is above 50 percent for the first time in a year, his honesty rating is at a new low and half of voters already think he’s a lame-duck.

The New York Times editorial board has condemned the Obama administration for threatening press freedom in the wake of revelations that the Justice Dept. seized phone records belonging to Fox News reporter James Rosen. "With the decision to label a Fox News television reporter a possible ´co-conspirator´ in a criminal investigation of a news leak, the Obama administration has moved beyond protecting government secrets to threatening fundamental freedoms of the press to gather news," the board wrote in an editorial published on Wednesday. Noting past Obama administration intrustions into press freedom, including the Justice Dept.´s

The public got its first look Thursday at Lois Lerner, who has gone from faceless IRS bureaucrat to the face that launched what feels like 1,000 congressional hearings and conspiracy theories. But it was only a brief sighting since she didn´t stay long at a House hearing to further probe her role in how some IRS workers came to target conservative groups seeking tax-exempt status. (Snip)She did make a short statement to declare her innocence, however. Lerner´s motivation was more transparent than much of what the IRS has done in connection with this controversy. She was determined to

When you get right down to it, the political targeting and stalling of tax-exempt applications by the IRS was an effort to defund the Tea Party. Rick Santelli, one of the Tea Party founders and my CNBC colleague, was the first to make this point. I’ve taken it a step further: The IRS was taking the Tea Party out of play for the 2012 election, as it looked to avoid a repeat of 2010 and another Tea Party landslide. There are a lot of numbers out there.

What´s so interesting about 60 tea partiers protesting the IRS in San Jose, California on Tuesday, May 21st? The fact that this bit of information was conveyed to the protesters by a Department of Homeland Security officer who was also in attendance. What was a DHS agent doing at the San Jose Tea Party protest? (snip) they weren´t just spying on us in San Jose and monitoring us in San Francisco, they were watching us throughout the entire state

President Obama on Thursday nominated Victoria Nuland, a State Department official involved in the editing of the administration´s talking points on Benghazi, to be the next assistant secretary of state for European and Eurasian affairs. Nuland, a career foreign service officer who was until recently State´s top spokesperson, had long been expected to be nominated the post to replace Philip Gordon, who Obama picked to serve as Middle East coordinator for the National Security Council. Nuland´s nomination -- which requires Senate confirmation -- could come under scrutiny from Republicans who see her as playing a central role in shaping

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. Levin said, “I don’t believe for two seconds that Obama wasn’t aware of this.”

On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.
