| Afghan police arrest two men for allegedly beheading a 15-year-old girl after her father turned down a marriage proposal. According to BBC News, the two men who proposed the arranged marriage and attacked her are relatives of the girl. “Our investigation shows those who killed her were people who wanted to marry her,” a Kunduz province police official told the BBC.

Comments: For those in the Religion of Peace murder is practically a sacrament. Remember our U.S. president said he loved the sounds of the call to prayer for the Religion of Peace. This "diversity" is coming to the U.S.A. courtesy of our federal government.

Notice the outrage from NOW and the feminists. (By the way, I am a woman).
All these "feminine" groups are wailing day and night of sex trafficking, child porn, child rape, domestic violence, unequal pay, baby nursing rights in the work place, sexual harassment and litany of other grievances, yet millions of women in the ME are raped, sold, whipped, chained, killed and denied basic human rights recognized the world over accept by American women and female politicians.
The hypocrisy is disgusting.

It is so discouraging to know that this is happening on a regular basis to little girls around the world. It is also discouraging that our government excuses it. Just think what the state of women would be if the Democrats really got their way. Women will be sold as cattle in this country if we don´t stop the direction of the Democrat leadership.

These sorts of heinous incidents will continue, unfortunately. What you have there is a mass of uneducated people who adhere to a doctrine of backwardness. There is a lack of respect for women and there is an overall climate of intimidation - it´s a thug culture.
Should the West intervene every time this sort of thing happens? It´s impractical. I´m not one who subscribes to the notion that the West should be a policeman for crimes that occur against women. These sorts of crimes must be addressed by the very people within which the crimes occur.

Pope Francis has attacked the “dictatorship” of the global financial system and warned that the “cult of money” was making life a misery for millions. He said free-market capitalism had created a “tyranny” and that human beings were being judged purely by their ability to consume goods. Money should be made to “serve” people, not to “rule” them, he said, calling for a more ethical financial system and curbs on financial speculation. Countries should impose more control over their economies and not allow “absolute autonomy”, in order to provide “for the common good”.

The yardstick used in the immigration bill to determine border control may produce too rosy a picture of how well the Border Patrol is doing in cracking down on illegal crossings, according to an independent study released Monday that threatens to upend the immigration debate. In their 76-page report, three researchers at the Council on Foreign Relations also said the drop in illegal immigration is only partly a result of tougher border security and about two-thirds because of economic changes in Mexico and the U.S. that have made it less attractive for Mexicans to migrate north.

Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Jonathan Papelbon says that the president is out to take your guns. The pitcher, who came to prominence during his run with the Boston Red Sox (including as the team’s closer during their victorious 2007 World Series run), spoke with CSN Philadelphia and said, “Today’s day and age has gotten so crazy. Shoot man, Obama wants to take our guns from us and everything. You got all this stuff going on; it’s just a little bit insane for me, man. I’m not sure how to take it.”

As we now move into the official Political Aftermath period of the Boston bombing — the period that will determine the long-term legislative fallout of the atrocity — the dynamics of privilege will undoubtedly influence the nation’s collective reaction to the attacks. That’s because privilege tends to determine: 1) which groups are — and are not — collectively denigrated or targeted for the unlawful actions of individuals; and 2) how big and politically game-changing the overall reaction ends up being.

President Barack Obama accused Republicans of stooping to political stunts to block gun reform, in a fervent appeal delivered close to the site of the Newtown school massacre. At a critical moment for hopes for sweeping action to stem gun violence, Obama traveled to Hartford, Connecticut, not far from Sandy Hook Elementary School, where 20 children and six adults were gunned down in December.

Recent research indicates that the number of people who do not consider themselves a part of an organized religion is steadily on the rise. Interestingly enough, though the number of those religiously unaffiliated is increasing, there is little to no trend in the number of those who express atheist or agnostic beliefs. People aren’t saying they don’t believe in God. They’re saying they don’t believe in religion. They are not rejecting Christ. They are rejecting the church. This begs the question, “Why are we losing our religion?”

WASHINGTON – The Internal Revenue Serviced scandal today spread further within the White House and closer to President Obama. White House spokesman Jay Carney today disclosed that Obama’s chief of staff, Dennis McDonough, and other top White House officials had advance warning that the IRS was targeting conservative groups. But he insisted McDonough and the other White House officials purposely kept Obama out of the loop.McDonough “rightly chose not to take action” to inform Obama, Carney told reporters at the daily White House briefing.

The Washington Post on Monday reported that Obama’s Department of Justice was investigating journalists before they started wiretapping the Associated Press – for one, Fox News correspondent James Rosen in 2010. Their headline wasn´t "Obama Team Also Spied on Fox News." Fox wasn´t in the headline, on A-1 or on A-12, where the story continued. Newly obtained court documents “reveal how deeply investigators explored the private communications of a working journalist — and raise the question of how often journalists have been investigated as closely as Rosen was in 2010.” Reporter Ann Marimow began:

A senior adviser to President Obama mounted a combative defense of the administration on Sunday, saying the controversies enveloping the White House were the result of Republican lawmakers’ trying to “drag Washington into a swamp of partisan fishing expeditions, trumped-up hearings and false allegations.”The remarks came from Dan Pfeiffer, a member of the president’s inner circle, as he appeared on all five major Sunday morning talk shows in an effort to move the administration past what commentators have described as a “hell week” of controversy and missteps.

Whitehouse spent 15 minutes chastising GOP senators and justified his remarks by alluding to states that seek federal assistance in the wake of natural disasters. “So, you may have a question for me,” Whitehouse said. “Why do you care?
