Afghan police arrest two men for allegedly beheading a 15-year-old girl after her father turned down a marriage proposal. According to BBC News, the two men who proposed the arranged marriage and attacked her are relatives of the girl. “Our investigation shows those who killed her were people who wanted to marry her,” a Kunduz province police official told the BBC.
Comments: For those in the Religion of Peace murder is practically a sacrament. Remember our U.S. president said he loved the sounds of the call to prayer for the Religion of Peace. This "diversity" is coming to the U.S.A. courtesy of our federal government.
Tell me again how the deaths of thoussands of America´s sons and daughters and the expenditure of billions has changed Afghanistan.....this place should be craterglassed and redrilled later after it quits glowing.
Notice the outrage from NOW and the feminists. (By the way, I am a woman).
All these "feminine" groups are wailing day and night of sex trafficking, child porn, child rape, domestic violence, unequal pay, baby nursing rights in the work place, sexual harassment and litany of other grievances, yet millions of women in the ME are raped, sold, whipped, chained, killed and denied basic human rights recognized the world over accept by American women and female politicians.
It is so discouraging to know that this is happening on a regular basis to little girls around the world. It is also discouraging that our government excuses it. Just think what the state of women would be if the Democrats really got their way. Women will be sold as cattle in this country if we don´t stop the direction of the Democrat leadership.
If our Air Force turned Afghanistan into a parking lot, I would stand and cheer. And Nuke Iran too while you´re at it, then Hamas and Hezbollah and the Muslim Brotherhood! And if Obammy Hussein don´t like it, tuff turds!
Actually, there are some families over there who do love their daughters and want them to be free from oppression. It is the nutty religious zealots who are doing this horrible stuff. Not everyone in Afghanistan is stuck in the 7th century. I really wish people wouldn´t make sweeping ignorant statements if they don´t know anything about the subject or the people.
These sorts of heinous incidents will continue, unfortunately. What you have there is a mass of uneducated people who adhere to a doctrine of backwardness. There is a lack of respect for women and there is an overall climate of intimidation - it´s a thug culture.
Should the West intervene every time this sort of thing happens? It´s impractical. I´m not one who subscribes to the notion that the West should be a policeman for crimes that occur against women. These sorts of crimes must be addressed by the very people within which the crimes occur.
Savagery and brutality at this level must be condemned and not allowed to spread. Islam is a virus on the planet. Do not allow followers of this cult to enter our country and those that are here should be encouraged to leave.
Just today in downtown Houston I watched as a man walked with three same-sized, same-aged covered women behind him. My skin crawled thinking that those women are likely all his wives. Why are we letting this cancer into our country? In the immortal words of Standing Wolf, -Nuke the terrorist savages!-
It´s not coming to a city near me, it´s already there in Dearbornstan. The only good thing about that is when Civil War II breaks out, that cesspool becomes a target rich environment. With 600,000 hunters in Michigan, but I digress.
Barack Obama´s foreign policy dream -- cordial relations with a Middle East tranquilized by "smart diplomacy" -- is in a death grapple with reality. His rhetorical writhings illustrate the perils of loquacity. He has a glutton´s rather than a gourmet´s appetite for his own rhetorical cuisine, and has talked America to the precipice of a fourth military intervention in the crescent that extends from Libya to Afghanistan. Characterizing the 2011 Libyan project with weirdly passive syntax ("It is our military that is being volunteered by others to carry out missions"),
Britain is planning to join forces with America and launch military action against Syria within days in response to the gas attack believed to have been carried out by President Bashar al-Assad’s forces against his own people. Royal Navy vessels are being readied to take part in a possible series of cruise missile strikes, alongside the United States, as military commanders finalise a list of potential targets.
THIS is the shocking moment a rapper was shot dead while performing on stage. Mobile phone footage shows MC Daleste suddenly collapsing after he takes a bullet in the abdomen. The video shows the rapper — real name Daniel Pellegrine -— suddenly recoil then slump to the ground. Fans scream as friends rush to help.
Russia’s foreign ministry has released a statement saying that it is “perplexed” by the EU’s failure to renew an arms embargo on the Syrian opposition, writes Alex Winning. Russian officials said they were similarly bewildered by European foreign ministers’ move to extend economic sanctions on Bashar al-Assad’s regime, saying that such sanctions are “suffocating the Syrian people”.
Like the millions of other ordinary Swedes whom he now sees himself as one of, Mohammed Abbas fears his dream society is now under threat. When he first arrived in Stockholm as refugee from Iran in 1994, the vast Husby council estate where he settled was a mixture of locals and foreigners, a melting pot for what was supposed to be a harmonious, multi-racial paradise. Two decades on, though, "white flight" has left only one in five of Husby´s flats occupied by ethnic Swedes, ...
Pope Francis has attacked the “dictatorship” of the global financial system and warned that the “cult of money” was making life a misery for millions. He said free-market capitalism had created a “tyranny” and that human beings were being judged purely by their ability to consume goods. Money should be made to “serve” people, not to “rule” them, he said, calling for a more ethical financial system and curbs on financial speculation. Countries should impose more control over their economies and not allow “absolute autonomy”, in order to provide “for the common good”.
The yardstick used in the immigration bill to determine border control may produce too rosy a picture of how well the Border Patrol is doing in cracking down on illegal crossings, according to an independent study released Monday that threatens to upend the immigration debate. In their 76-page report, three researchers at the Council on Foreign Relations also said the drop in illegal immigration is only partly a result of tougher border security and about two-thirds because of economic changes in Mexico and the U.S. that have made it less attractive for Mexicans to migrate north.
The question all week long was this: Who are you going to believe, an illegal alien or the president of the United States of America? Obviously, if it’s a president who once went by an alias, Barry Soetoro, you go with Uncle Omar, 100 percent, no questions asked. And so it was that the White House finally admitted to another, uh, misstatement — despite previous denials, Barack/Barry did sleep on his beloved Uncle Omar’s couch in Cambridge when he first moved here to attend Harvard Law School (speaking of which, we’re still waiting to see the president’s grades and his LSAT scores). But the
How do you get your arms around the catastrophe known as Obamacare? Is it even possible? At this point, I’m not sure it is. The list of individual disasters which threaten to ruin one-sixth of the U.S. economy and what has been, up until now, the best healthcare system in the world is exhaustive, and exhausting. The examples I will identify here barely scratch the surface. First but by no means foremost, we have the supposedly new and improved HealthCare.gov. Except it’s not, even the visible part. Stories still abound of people still failing to get in or to get through the enrollment
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a new five-year strategic plan to improve safety for elderly drivers and passengers. Although they are statistically among the safest on the road, the number of older drivers is increasing dramatically — and with it, that group´s numbers of injuries and deaths. Since 2003, the population of older adults, defined as age 65 and older, has increased by 20% and the number of licensed older drivers increased by 21% to 35 million in 2012, according to NHTSA. Last year, NHTSA reported that 5,560 people older than 65 died and 214,000 were injured
A veteran Washington adviser who has worked for four Presidents on both sides of the political aisle said that the stunning Government Accountability Report report that found President Barack Obama has not had a one-on-one meeting with Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius since the passage of Obamacare over three years ago is an indictment of the entire White House operation and shows that the Obama administration has bordered on "malfeasance." "I have no doubt the White House is right, that Secretary Sebelius was in several group meetings with the president about health care," Gergen caveated, "but the whole
President Barack Obama’s Facebook page on Saturday posted a message honoring the dead from Pearl Harbor—accompanied by a picture of Obama descending the stairs next to the Pearl Harbor Memorial. The picture barely fits the name of the Arizona Memorial so it can frame Obama in the foreground. The post´s statement reads: Today, with solemn pride and reverence, let us remember those who fought and died at Pearl Harbor, acknowledge everyone who carried their legacy forward, and reaffirm our commitment to upholding the ideals for which they served. President Obama The Obama Administration´s current shipbuilding plan shrinks the size of
Barack Obama did not tell the whole story this autumn when he tried to make the case that Bashar al-Assad was responsible for the chemical weapons attack near Damascus on 21 August. In some instances, he omitted important intelligence, and in others he presented assumptions as facts. Most significant, he failed to acknowledge something known to the US intelligence community: that the Syrian army is not the only party in the country’s civil war with access to sarin, the nerve agent that a UN study concluded – without assessing responsibility – had been used in the rocket attack. In the months before the attack,
Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, the hapless, goalpost-shifting so-called "architect" of Obamacare, told Fox News´ Chris Wallace on Fox News Sunday that President Barack Obama´s promise "if you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor" was absolutely true--with one important caveat: if you like your doctor, "you can pay for it." Wallace grilled Dr. Emanuel, challenging his false claims that California´s enrollment was keeping pace with the percentage of the young population necessary to keep the system afloat, and pointing out that the president´s promise on doctors would collapse once people lost their insurance or their
