CDC: Youths make up
1 in 4 new HIV cases

Washington Times, by Cheryl Wetzstein

Teens and young adults now account for more than a quarter of the new cases of HIV identified in the United States annually, and a clear majority of those cases involve young gay or bisexual men, the federal government said in a major new survey Tuesday. Of the nearly 48,000 new HIV cases identified in the United States in 2010, the latest year for which complete data are available, more than 12,000 involved teens and young adults

Comments:
The untold story: Pot reduces the immune system thus facilitating transmission of HIV through torn rectal tissue during anal sex.

But don´t worry; medical marijuana will cure it.

Don´t worry, The American Pediatric Association endorses giving teenagers emergency contraception. Oh, wait. Contraception doesn´t prevent STD´s. So, let´s give the teens a sense of false security. Let´s give them a license to engage in physically and emotionally damaging behavior. Yep, great idea. Then we can treat them for HIV and other STD´s.

#3, that same fine(barfffff) organization is removing "pedophilia" from the DSM and instead is using..."Minor attracted".

If I had ONE wish, it would be for each and every liberal to live in a world run JUST like they wanted........

Their blood would run hip deep in the streets.

To get HIV with the current knowledge base requires the combination an extremely selfish person placing their pleasure over the life of another and someone so stupid that they allow themselves to be used.

The same administration that is encouraging this sexual activity has passed Obamacare with advice and counsel of Ezekiel Emanuel who has devised theories of how to ration medical care based on "objective" measures of an individual´s worth. How will the selfish and/or the extremely gullible young rate when they seek lifelong treatment for an incurable disease?

“Keep sex and politics out of Scouting.” That’s the battle cry of Scouting traditionalists fighting to persuade the Boy Scouts of America to retain its long-standing ban on openly homosexual youths in its ranks, and it’s a credo as sensible as it is succinct. The battle comes to a head this week when the BSA´s National Council convenes a three-day conference Wednesday in Grapevine, Texas. The 1,400 delegates to the National Council will vote on a schizophrenic proposal that would unwisely end the ban on out-of-the-closet homosexual Scouts

Mexico City - For the past seven years, Mexico and the United States have put aside their tension-filled history on security matters to forge an unparalleled alliance against Mexico´s drug cartels, one based on sharing sensitive intelligence, U.S. training and joint operational planning. (Snip) Some U.S. officials fear the coming of an unofficial truce with cartel leaders. The Mexicans see it otherwise. “The objective of fighting organized crime is not in conflict with achieving peace,” said Eduardo Medina Mora, Mexico’s ambassador to the United States.

Drivers face high gas prices
despite US oil boom

The U.S. is increasing its oil production faster than ever and U.S. drivers are guzzling less gas. But you´d never know it from the price at the pump. (Snip) A major reason cited for high gasoline prices over the past two years -- fighting and political tensions in the Middle East and North Africa -- doesn´t apply this year. Libyan production has returned after collapsing during the country’s revolution two years ago. And higher production from the U.S. and Saudi Arabia has made up for Iran’s declining output in the face of Western sanctions.

Senate Democrats lit into Treasury and federal Reserve officials Thursday over the handling of anti-money-laundering cases, questioning whether regulators are treating bag banks accused of violating U.S. laws with kid gloves. (Snip) Warren´s remarks arose out of a discussion about regulators´ decision not to shut down HSBC or remove any of its employees for allegedly laundering money for Mexican drug cartels.

Atty. General Eric H. Holder Jr.: States
to get guidance on legalized marijuana
Washington Times, by David Sherfinski    Original Article

U.S. Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr. said Tuesday that federal guidance on new laws legalizing marijuana in Colorado and Washington state is imminent as state oficials have been forced to tread cautiously in their efforts to implememt the laws. (Snip) Marijuana has been legalized for limited medical use in 18 states, as well as the District of Columbia, where applicants had to sign waivers releasing the city from liability if the federal government prosecuted the program’s participants. To proponents of medical marijuana, the Justice Department’s letter served as a reminder of the tenuous relationship between local and federal views on medicinal marijuana use.

New rules cut link between

In the years before the financial crisis, mortgage originators were rewarded with bonuses and higher pay for steering millions of Americans into risky and unsustainable home loans. Starting next January, however, brokers’ and loan officers’ compensation will no longer be based on the terms of the mortgages they originate, according to new guidelines released Friday by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau. The rules are the latest effort by the consumer watchdog to improve the way homeowners interact with the mortgage industry at every step of the lending process.

Former Rep. Anthony Weiner, whose career in public life came to an abrupt end when he sent lewd pictures to a college student on Twitter, jumped back into politics on Wednesday by announcing a bid for mayor of New York City. “Look, I’ve made some big mistakes and I know I’ve let a lot of people down,” the Democrat said in a 2-minute video announcing his bid. “But I’ve also learned some tough lessons. I’m running for mayor because I’ve been fighting for the middle class and those struggling to make it for my entire life.

The dam protecting the IRS scandal began to crack today when Lois Lerner, the IRS official who announced, and apologized for, the improper singling out of conservative-leaning organizations by IRS employees under her command, announced through her criminal defense lawyer that she will not testify as scheduled tomorrow before the House Oversight Committee. Rather, she will assert her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. This marks an enormous milestone in the IRS investigation. It can now be taken as more or less established that crimes were committed by Obama administration employees. Lerner’s lawyer tried to minimize the significance

The wheels came off the Obama administration yesterday. We learned of a startling assault on freedom of the press by the Department of Justice, following the revelation last week of the unprecedented information-gathering foray by that department against The Associated Press. Then, a few minutes later, the Justice Department’s inspector general released a report declaring that the US attorney in Arizona used the leak of a confidential memo to try to discredit a whistleblower in the notorious “gun-walking” scandal known as Fast and Furious (which got two federal agents killed). The leak was called “egregious.”

WASHINGTON – A top IRS official in the division that reviews nonprofit groups will invoke the Fifth Amendment and refuse to answer questions before a House committee investigating the agency’s improper screening of conservative nonprofit groups. Lois Lerner, the head of the exempt organizations division of the IRS, won’t answer questions about what she knew about the improper screening – or why she didn’t reveal it to Congress, according to a letter from her defense lawyer, William W. Taylor 3rd. Lerner was scheduled to appear before the House Oversight committee Wednesday.

House Oversight and Government Reform Committee Chairman Darrell Issa said embattled IRS official Lois Lerner waived her Fifth Amendment rights and will be hauled back to appear before his panel again. The California Republican said Lerner’s Fifth Amendment right to avoid self-incrimination was voided when she gave an opening statement this morning denying any wrongdoing and professing pride in her government service. “When I asked her her questions from the very beginning, I did so so she could assert her rights prior to any statement,” Issa told POLITICO. “She chose not to do so — so she waived.”

Former Democratic National committee chairman Howard Dean considers the controversy over Benghazi a “joke” and “silly.” “Benghazi is a laughable joke,” Dean proclaimed twice in a discussion with Republican National Committee communications chairman Sean Spicer last week. “With all due respect, governor, when four Americans die serving this country, that’s not a joke, sir,” Spicer responded. “Oh, stop it,” said Dean. The former Democratic presidential candidate also said that there were “no serious questions being asked about Benghazi” and brushed it off as an effort by Republicans to score political points.
