| Congress: Changing the filibuster rule come January has suddenly become a top priority for Senate Democrats who want to help their re-elected president complete his fundamental transformation of America. Minority Leader Mitch McConnell on Monday blasted Democratic-led efforts to reform the filibuster, something the Democrats once vehemently opposed but which Majority Leader Harry Reid has promised to bring up in the next Congress, fearing the Republicans will dig in to block President Obama´s agenda. Reid simply trying to remain relevant. He knows Obama will bypass congress with EE´s to enact his Agenda. He should just go on vacation for 4 years.

Realizing their agenda is so extreme they can´t let anything get in their way.
No need to have to compromise or negotiate.
I think this is all a bluff though to use in the fiscal cliff negotiations.
Far too many Dems up for re-election in 2014, and many are old, white, liberal Democrats.

People around the world are mocking Morsi for his grand takeover of Egypt but the same thing is happening here albeit in slow motion.Government checks and balances are a huge hindrance to Obama and the left. He´s even told foreign leaders he hates having to go through congress.

Employer spending on benefits rose at the slowest pace on record in the first quarter, as companies began bracing for higher health costs with next year´s launch of ObamaCare.Total benefits, such as insurance and pension contributions, rose just 0.1% vs. the end of last year, the smallest gain in Labor Department data going back to 2001. By comparison, payroll employment grew by a half-million, or 0.4%, in Q1. So benefits-per-worker declined. Total employee benefits provided outside of government jobs declined outright.

Conservative radio host Mark Levin is very skeptical of the idea that President Obama had absolutely no idea about the IRS tea party targeting before the story broke in the news mere weeks ago. Levin declared adamantly that it is a “flat-out, bald-faced lie” that Obama didn’t know beforehand, citing prior reports by a few conservative news outlets picking up on the news well before the 2012 presidential election. The fact that this bit of information was conveyed to the protesters by a Department of Homeland Security officer who was also in attendance. On “Fox News Sunday” last weekend, White House aide Dan Pfeiffer was asked about President Barack Obama’s whereabouts the night of the Sept. 11 attack in Benghazi. This was the night when we lost our first ambassador in 30 years, and when three other Americans were killed in an attack that lasted all night long at multiple locations within the eastern Libyan city. Since the president is commander in chief, one would think where he was and what he did during such an event would be of obvious public concern.
