Seeing No Evil

| If you want to understand why President Obama was reelected despite a largely unsuccessful presidency and almost unprecedentedly high and continuous unemployment, just look at the Cuban-American vote. (Snip) Democratic presidential nominees went from 25 percent of the Cuban-American vote in 2000, to 29 percent in 2004, to 35 percent in 2008, to 48 percent in 2012. We obviously have a dramatic trend here. Now, why would that be? There are two reasons: No experience of evil, and American education. The first generation of Cuban-Americans had escaped Communist evil.
|
Comments: Prager notes that those who have experienced evil tend to be conservative, whereas naivete underpins leftism. American education teaches that America´s past is ugly.

I am still having trouble coming to terms with the fact that over half of the voting public is just butt ugly stupid.

They cannot distinguish between real good and real evil. In the eyes of many, anyone who advocates standards, responsibility, and opposition to pathological behaviors is ´evil´. Anyone who embraces what makes them feel good is celebrated. It will end in disaster.

Obama´s supporters claim that "he did the best he could" and to them that was enough to justify them re-electing him over some rich white guy!

American Blacks feel the same way about Obama that German Nazis felt about Adolf Hitler.
I am not saying Obama is Hitler. I am saying that the same racial mass hysteria is at play.

FTA: "Members of the second Cuban-American generation have been far more influenced by their schools and by television shows than by their parents. And the same holds true for second- and third- and fourth- and fifth-generation Americans of every background."
That is the crux of the matter. Not only is leftist indoctrination taught in public schools the antithesis of truth and freedom, its focus on "self-esteem" assures that the end product is young people who consider themselves smarter and wiser than parents, or anyone, who would try to teach them anything different from their leftist indoctrination.
An example is the pro-Obama campaign ad "Children of the Future".
Lyrics sung by children:
Imagine an America Where strip mines are fun and free Where gays can be fixed And sick people just die And oil fills the sea
We don’t have to pay for freeways! Our schools are good enough Give us endless wars On foreign shores And lots of Chinese stuff
We’re the children of the future American through and through But something happened to our country And we’re kinda blaming you
We haven’t killed all the polar bears But it’s not for lack of trying Big Bird is sacked The Earth is cracked And the atmosphere is frying
Congress went home early They did their best we know You can’t cut spending With elections pending Unless it’s welfare dough
We’re the children of the future American through and through But something happened to our country And we’re kinda blaming you
Find a park that is still open And take a breath of poison air They foreclosed your place To build a weapon in space But you can write off your au pair
It’s a little awkward to tell you But you left us holding the bag When we look around The place is all dumbed down And the long term’s kind of a drag
We’re the children of the future American through and through But something happened to our country And yeah, we’re blaming you
You did your best You failed the test
Mom and Dad We’re blaming you!

After the election there were people writing about how we can´t blame the media. Wrong. Those on the right have yet to realize how much influence the left has through the media and education. Until you address that, there is no hope.

- Religous upbringing - home or private school - Shun all cable and network news outlets - Reject and protect kids from cult worship of celebrities (especually politicians)
- inspire individualism and reward courage, strength and character to challenge the New Establishment
-Make sure children learn a skill that makes them valuable to community.
All of this for the chlidren and their futures

Everybody has an opinion as to why Romney lost; so I´ll offer mine: economy isn´t as bad as he (and every other pundit/politician on our side) said it was.

He finished two shots ahead of Phil Mickelson and Jason Day. The 32-year-old Rose overcame his share of misadventures on a challenging course. He took the solo lead for good when Mickelson and Mahan both dropped shots at No. 15.

Imagine this: Newspapers and broadcasters in China suddenly start to denounce the British government. They call it a ‘regime’. They say that its treatment of its Muslim minority is cruel and unjust. (Snip) All the time, foreign media report in a wholly one-sided way, credulously trumpeting British government ‘atrocities’ without verification. And then all the major countries in the world agree to permit the direct supply of weapons to the rebels. Absurd? Wait and see. Something quite like this actually happened on a small scale in Northern Ireland, where American individuals helped buy guns and bombs

Renowned author Dan Brown woke up in his luxurious four-poster bed in his expensive $10 million house – and immediately he felt angry. (snip) The critics said his writing was clumsy, ungrammatical, repetitive and repetitive. They said it was full of unnecessary tautology. They said his prose was swamped in a sea of mixed metaphors. For some reason they found something funny in sentences such as “His eyes went white, like a shark about to attack.”

Mark Sanford has won the South Carolina special election in a competitive race for what in normal circumstances is a safe Republican seat. The former governor beat Democrat Elizabeth Colbert Busch, the sister of comedian Stephen Colbert Busch, for the state’s 1st congressional district. The AP called the race for Sanford early in the evening, with the Republican leading Colbert Busch 54 percent 46 percent.

Most countries in the world have irrelevant numbers of "immigrants." In the Americas, for example, only Canada, America, and the British West Indies have significant non-native populations. In Mexico, immigrants account for 0.6 percent of the population, and that generally negligible level prevails all the way down through Latin America until you hit a blip of 1.4 percent with Chile and 3.8 percent in Argentina. (Snip) But profound sweeping demographic transformation through immigration is a phenomenon only of the western world in the modern era, and even there America leads the way.

A few years ago, after an enjoyable match at the nearby Victoria Cricket Club, I arrived at Rustico, a fine restaurant in the small village of Flatts at the western end of Harrington Sound in Bermuda. (Snip) If you fly in from overseas, as often as he does, you can’t help noticing America is extremely obese: It’s the first thing foreigners remark on, and, if they then prod a little deeper and notice the trillions of dollars of debt, there’s a general sense that a population this unhealthy-looking

A group of whistleblowers, including a number of aviation experts, have come forward in a new documentary to claim that the official explanation for the crash of TWA Flight 800 was wrong and a gas tank explosion did not bring down the flight off the coast of Long Island 17 years ago. However, the six whistleblowers, all part of the original investigation team, stopped short of saying the plane was shot down. Flight 800, a Boeing 747, had just taken off from JFK airport with 230 people aboard on July 17, 1996 enroute to Paris when it exploded

An attorney whose firm represents two Benghazi whistleblowers said Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, lied to the Senate when he said there was never a “stand down” order during the Benghazi attack on Sept. 11, 2012. “What was fascinating is that he explained his lie to them,” Joe DiGenova, an attorney representing one of the whistleblowers, told CNSNews.com. “He actually said they were sent to Tripoli. They were needed in Benghazi,” said DiGenova, a former U.S. attorney, now with the Washington firm of DiGenova & Toensing.

Amid a steady rise of backlash, Edward Snowden, the 29-year-old former National Security Agency contractor who was the source of a spring of leaks about the agency´s surveillance methods, conducted a live chat on The Guardian´s website Monday morning. Judging from some of the pointed questions he´s been asked and the reaction to newly leaked revelations over the past few days, it´s clear that much of the sympathy and support Snowden had built up for his early exposures is eroding. Many Americans supported his decision to leak information about a pair of National Security Agency surveillance programs, which, he detailed, gathered information

Likening religious schools to segregation--a racist system that forced blacks to attend different schools and use different facilities than whites in the American South--President Barack Obama told a town hall meeting for youth in Belfast, Northern Ireland on Monday that there should not be Catholic and Protestant schools because such schools cause division. "Because issues like segregated schools and housing, lack of jobs and opportunity--symbols of history that are a source of pride for some and pain for others--these are not tangential to peace; they’re essential to it,"

Listening to Barack Obama give his speech in Belfast on Monday, it was hard not to stifle a yawn. I kept waiting for the part when he would say something interesting, but, about three quarters of the way through, realised it wasn’t going to come. Judging from television pictures some of his young audience felt the same, after the initial rush of euphoria of receiving the rock star president in their midst had passed. This is not surprising, for we had already heard this number about the inspirational role of the Northern Ireland peace process and the Emerald Isle’s

Charlie Rose last night asked President Obama his new Syria policy. The president first objected to it being called a new policy. "I´m not sure you can characterize this as a new policy. This is consistent with the policy that I´ve had throughout," he said. Obama then explained the goal is regional stability, and especially in Syria. "Really, what we´re trying to do is take sides against extremists of all sorts and in favor of people who are in favor of moderation, tolerance, representative government, and over the long-term, stability and prosperity for the people of Syria," said Obama.

Marco Rubio. Paul Ryan. The IRS. Illegal immigration. And fraud to the tune of billions.. Now there’s a combustible mix. Let’s start with the IRS, illegal immigration and fraud. We’ll come back in a minute to Senator Rubio and Congressman Ryan. For those who came in late, a year before the IRS scandals burst onto the scene in early May of 2013, an alert investigative reporter for WTHR-Indianapolis (Channel 13), Bob Segall by name, produced a stunning piece of journalism. Segall’s video report is found here and we will quote from his story for the basics.
