| In another one of his insightful essays, Michael Barone notes the obvious post-election status quo of divided government in Washington -- Republican House, Democrat Senate and White House. But at the state level, Americans across the country are clearly opting for more one-party rule where the political rubber meets the local roads. No one ever accused American voters of consistency. By next month, Barone calculates, 25 states comprising 53% of the population will be under the political rule of Republicans in the governor´s office and controlling both houses of the legislature.

California´s been pretty much under total control by the Democrats for years. Arnold´s term as Governor doesn´t even count, because he was ineffective and beholden to public employee unions.

States run by Republicans are more financially stable than democrats. California, Michigan, NY, Illinois all r falling off the cliff. They cannot handle money. Terrible roads, poor services, and sky high taxes. High taxes makes for more inept government. Democrats want the poor to be poorer, to have their hand out with only a meager living. Democrats r the slave owners of the Civil War and now of our present day country. Just slaves to the government dole. The racists are the democrats. They r name callers, which means that is their mind set.

So what will happen is that people who want social programs will move to Democrat states, and people that want jobs will move to Republican states.
Pretty soon, you´ll have complete areas that are wastelands descending into chaos, like California, or Chicago. You won´t be able to live there or have a business there because the taxes on the productive will be prohibitive. The crime will be horrendous.

So where does this end? Democrats will never acknowledge their policies are at fault. Look at Europe - they´re now rioting and attacking anyone who speaks the truth. I can´t wait to see everyone blaming the three Republicans left in California for that bankruptcy.

What´s sad is that as long as we have a Robin Hood Federal government taking money from the producing Red States and lavishing it on the welfare loving Blue States, the spiral will continue and doom is certain.

Obama´s re-election team is keeping their army of miscreants together, to bully the rest of the nation into accepting his rule by EE. Anyone, company or groups that voices opposition will be picketed, harrassed & abused into compliance.
Obama is off to Philly, to continue rallying the thugs. Obama will blame the GOP, as he completely excludes congress in all his actions.
If Fox News survives the next 4 years, I´ll be shocked.

Hi, I’m Congressman Andy Harris, and this is the Red Tape Tower. 20,000 pages high and seven feet tall, it encompasses all of the regulations already associated with President Obama’s health care law. The red tape, the taxes, the mandates, the tricks, the traps, the fine print … it’s all here. Now: just think about the fact that it’s the IRS that will be responsible for enforcing many of these regulations. If we’ve learned anything this week, it’s that the IRS needs less power.

Hi, everybody. Over the past few months, I’ve laid out a series of commonsense ideas to reignite the true engine of our economic growth: a rising, thriving middle class. The way I see it, there are three areas where we need to focus. One: making America a magnet for good jobs. Two: making sure our workers have the education and skills they need to do those jobs. And three: making sure your hard work leads to a decent living. I’ve also been visiting cities across the country that are doing some interesting and creative things along these lines.

Another awkward day in the unraveling presidency of Barack Obama. Beset by a trio of profound scandals, the Democrat planned Thursday´s message on foreign affairs through a joint news conference with Turkey´s Prime Minister Erdogan, a NATO ally. Unfortunately, Obama´s advance staff was apparently too busy preparing his next campaign stops to check the Washington weather forecast. It set up the news conference outdoors in the Rose Garden. Wouldn´t you know given POTUS´ recent luck, it began raining heavily. Obama [Snip] ordered two U.S. Marines to come hold umbrellas over the leaders´ heads while standing at attention.

Washington, the former swamp steeped now in ambition, acrimony and duplicity, is quite experienced in handling scandals. They erupt regularly like bipartisan blisters. If handled correctly -- take responsibility, be sincere, proactive, contrite and get all the bad stuff out there quickly in one tidy, eminently forgettable package -- scandals can heal and leave barely a scar. Take Barack Obama. Please. His recent behavior and that of his administration in this ongoing bad news blizzard will be case studies for future generations of communications strategists on how not to address crises.

Letterman: Barbara Walters announced her retirement on ´The View.´ She was smiling. Had a little cake. Seemed to know where she was. Fallon: Joe Biden met with South Korean President Park, gave her advice on avoiding war with North Korea. In other words, we´re going to war with North Korea. Leno: A CNN reporter was robbed right in downtown Atlanta. But because it was on CNN, there were no witnesses. Fallon: Obama tells Ohio State grads they need to make the world a better place. Awkward! Students yelled back, "That´s your responsibility?” You´re the president!"

A key tenet of Barack Obama´s grand design to radically transform the country he did not grow up in is to corrode Americans´ confidence in their revered institutions. The Supreme Court. Private enterprise. The national capitol complex. Big business (except for its political donations to him). Congress. Especially Congress, even when it does his bidding. If Americans come to doubt what they used to believe in, it will be easier for Obama to drive home his own brand of solutions. [Snip] Obama’s been admitting an awful lot of ignorance in recent days.

Treasury Secretary Jack Lew on Friday urged congressional leaders to raise the debt limit and insisted that the White House is not going to negotiate over the increase because lawmakers have "no choice." "We will not negotiate over the debt limit," Lew wrote. "The creditworthiness of the United States is non-negotiable. The question of whether the country must pay obligations it has already incurred is not open to debate." The lawmaker leading the charge to investigate the Benghazi terror attack on Friday subpoenaed the co-author of a report that slammed the State Department but didn´t interview Hillary Clinton. House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) formally demanded that retired ambassador Thomas Pickering submit to being deposed by the committee next Thursday. The subpoena comes in the wake of a series of acrimonious public exchanges this week between the two men. Issa didn´t issue a subpoena to former chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Michael Mullen, who co-authored the Benghazi report with Pickering.
